Welcome to Iron Hill Lake
Lisa commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Welcome to Iron Hill Lake
Great new story Sasha! I'm really learning a lot about horses and tacks and grooming, etc. =) Oh yeah, and about hot cowboys. lol -
So that's why Isaac hangs out at that gym. Was he once in a wheelchair? What happened? How'd he get the bionic leg? That's different than just a prosthesis, right? I'm proud of Bay for not taking to the road again, which is his defense mechanism for basically anything and everything. Run, run, run. Great chapter Sasha! I tried to go to chapter seventeen, but looking at the recent story updates, I noticed not only is chapter seventeen not up, but chapter sixteen isn't even mentioned. lol

Who knew that when Scott and Noah were cleaning paint off of Zach, it would come to bite them in the ass? My heart was in my mouth when Judge Gould stated her ruling. Thank God Zachy spoke up! And better yet, thank God Noah took pictures! And that other attorney, Willow's attorney, what an ass! I wanted to bitch-slap him upside his head.

Vincent, Vincent, Vincent. I thought he was there to watch over Haje. Or is that how he's protecting him? By not letting him know what happened with Shin? Is Vincent working on Shin's behalf, or is he the one who killed him? So many questions! Excellent chapter Sui!

Lisa commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Saturday 22nd June 2013 (later)
Good chapter, Sasha! I'm surprised that Isaac didn't introduce Bay to everyone in the kitchen. And I see I'm not the only one who was questioning Isaac putting Bay on the countertop. I think it's cute how their roles seem to be reversed a bit: at first, Isaac was like 'the leader' with their new relationship and Bay wanted things to go slow, or he wasn't sure of things...but now it seems like it's the opposite. Bay was practically clawing at Isaac, lol, and Isaac had to stop him. Bay's inner horndog is showing and he doesn't want to seem too needy or desperate. lol -
Wait, what? Other fish in the sea? What, between Sunday and Monday Andy had someone 'catch' him? lol And of course along with who caught Andy, I'm extremely curious about what happened to change Andy's life. When he talked about how fragile life is, it gave me the uneasy feeling that whatever happened wasn't good. His choice of the word 'fragile' made me think that something horrible is going to happen and someone's going to die. I hope I'm wrong. As for Matt: I'm proud of him. Yes, he could have gone off on Andy b/c I think yelling and fighting are easier than confronting your feelings. Getting angry with that person BECAUSE that person is making you confront your feelings and you blame that person, b/c maybe if not for that person, you wouldn't be feeling the way you're feeling. (did that make any sense? lol) Matt acted mature and wanted to blow it all under the rug. That may work for awhile, but what happens the next time he's thinking about Andy 'that way'? Or some other boy? I am glad though that he wasn't calling Andy names and he's fine with whatever Andy is. He'll always be his best friend. Because losing a friendship over that is just stupid. But now I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next update, Spirit!

What a fantastic story Rob! Omg, I want more. lol I was sorry to see it end. I wanted to take Walt's mother and shake her to death. What a stupid robot. And his "father", omg, I wanted to lock him up in the Big House and throw away the key. lol What an idiot. Thank God Jacks was there to take him away. That nosy busybody Mrs. F. should rot so someone could bury her in that cemetery. Ok, I think I'm getting a little carried away. lol Terrific story though. Maybe you could do a sequel, or an epilogue? Just sayin'...

Bay will never be able to outrun his true feelings. I have a feeling that Lena will figure it out soon enough. Hopefully she won't be an ass like Bay was to Alex. Hopefully she'll be a really good friend. I think he will be really relieved if she knows and doesn't give him shit about it. He needs someone he can be himself with. Ok, next chapter: Isaac. lol =)

What a terrific story Rob! I really like Wally. His parents are just too much though. Every time one of them opened their mouth to spew some more horseshit, I wanted to strangle them. That's what their thinking is: pure horseshit. I also like Jacks. I'm wondering though - when I read the first few lines that Jackson said, it sounded like he just came from the cotton fields on a Georgia plantation. He did graduate from high school, right? He played football in high school he said. Don't they have a rule that the players have to maintain a certain GPA in order to stay on the team? I know our high school does. Anyway...he doesn't sound well-educated is what I'm trying to get at. lol Did they just end "No Child Left Behind" when he started school? lol Was that intentional for the story? I was just curious b/c Wally is way more articulate than Jacks. Anyway, I'm really enjoying the story. On to chapter two.

Life doesn't fit into neat little boxes
Lisa commented on K.C.'s story chapter in Life doesn't fit into neat little boxes
Holy hell KC!!!! WTH happened to Asher???? Did Tyler shoot him? Why? Or was it just a random bar shooting? You know how they seem to happen all the time! Not!!!! And JC, Asher sustained quite a lot of damage. He's lucky to be alive. Maybe it was a robbery. You know, some punk coming in there to steal the booze so he can sell it on the black market. hehe Idk...I'm just grasping at straws here. I'm glad Michael's opening up to Asher. Loved the mom? question as Michael's kissing Asher. lol And his mom's right there! That was really funny! Anxiously waiting for next week's chapter. Great job KC! -
Matt, Matt, Matt - you blew it. Or, you didn't blow it, that's the problem. lol I can imagine how disappointed Andy's gonna be when he wakes up to find Matt gone. I kind of think Matt acted like an ass. He wasn't really nice to Andy. I know he's confused and all, but he could have at least told Andy how he felt. Andy laid his heart out to Matt. I was actually surprised he said all he did to him. Oh, and now I have a question: they are still fourteen, right? So now that Andy's the BMOC, he's scored with all these girls? At fourteen I could see him having sex with a girl, but going down on her? I don't know...would a fourteen year old do that? Anyway, can't wait to hear Andy's pov. I know he'll be sad that Matt left and he'll think he pushed him away and maybe he'll think he went too far. Even though their relationship may not be the exact way it was b/c now Matt knows what Andy wants and he's too afraid to admit his feelings, I hope they still remain best friends.

Hey, I love Glee!!! Although I haven't seen it all season... So what's going on with Issac's leg? Or it his knee? I can't think of anything that would make clunking noises. I mean, if he had a metal plate or something it wouldn't make noise, would it? Loved the Pink comment - NOT the right color to say in front of Bay. lol Even though he didn't mean it as a color. I still love Issac. =)

They better not throw that lasagna away! Burnt lasagna would never deter me; just peel away the top layer, burnt smell or not. lol Nothing short of dropping it on the floor would make me throw it out. Of course I should be focusing on the plot and Brad and Tony, but I'm too interested in the lasagna. =) Tony doesn't seem like the kind of teacher who would hold something against one of his students' b/c of something that happened with the parent. "West Side Story" is such a fantastic movie for them to watch, a real tragic love story. Looking forward to the next chapter, Renee!

I'm proud of Alex for being who is is and even though he may have been afraid to come out, he did it and now he can be free. (sort of, you know what I mean, lol) Bay's reaction at the end was totally uncalled for. I agree with the other reviewers on that. Jim-boy really messed with his head and now he thinks the whole world thinks the worst of gay people. And as Daithi said, he's not much different than Jim-boy now. Now, as an eighteen-year old (he's eighteen, right, not nineteen?), he may have grown up some, but he won't come full circle until he can go back home and tell everyone who he really is. Without cringing and w/o thinking he has to wear pink and dye his hair. And join the drama club. lol Although there are plenty of straight kids in drama clubs; I know that personally.
-
Dang it, I was anxiously waiting for the Bay and Alex story! lol I hope you continue that in the next chapter. Issac is such a sweetheart. I think he really made Bay nervous when he just showed up instead of called. I really hope he doesn't have ulterior motives. I also noticed your 'Thorn' character! lol
-
In Andy's quest to be 'cool' he does act like an ass a lot. lol I wonder what will happen (or did happen, since this has all happened already), in Andy's room. You big, bad author, leaving us w/a cliffhanger like that! Oh, I meant to ask, the Edison in your story, where is that? Just curious b/c there's an Edison in NJ and since I'm a Jersey girl, I was just wondering. =)

Lisa commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Sunday 11th December 2010
I really like Alex. He starts off so cocky and sure of himself, but really, he's just as shy and insecure as Bay. I wonder what happened between them and if it's the reason for Bay wanting to run away. -
Ok, so this is freaky. Did the site just get a new makeover? I walked away for two or three hours and I come back and the site's different. Or maybe my computer is going wacky. Anyway...on to the story. I would definitely be wary of Jack, as I said in my last review. I don't trust him. The way Nate describes him now, it's like he got bit by Cujo. lol I'm so glad Jeff and Brad got to see each other and Jeff's concerns were for nothing. Towards the end of the chapter when Nate wanted to talk to Mark about Jack, you kept writing Brad instead of Jack. As always, looking forward to the next update. Thanks for updating this so quickly.

I still hate Zupan. You know, I just had a thought as I'm typing this: maybe Zupan is such an ass b/c he feels since he's in a chair, people will feel sorry for him and excuse his rude behavior. Maybe he feels since he's in a chair, he has the right to act like a tool. Idk, I just don't like him. At all. Now Issac - he's a doll. In fact, if he has a straight brother, or cousin, or friend, send him my way. lol Or better yet: clone him. =)
-
I love Teddy! He's so cute! What a great idea Nate had to give Teddy to Tony. Tony just needs something/somebody who will love him unconditionally. Nate had another great idea: to turn some of that land or buildings into a halfway house for the kids who graduate from that program to make it easier to transition into the "real world". But I would definitely keep an eye out for Jack; I don't trust him at all.

Ditto what Cannd said. I noticed 'complete' written, but I was hoping that was an error. This is such a great story and now that Chance and Elliot are together, it'd be nice to read more about them.
-
Too bad Jim-Boy turned out to be such an ass. I was pleasantly surprised that Jim-Boy's friends weren't too keen on him bullying that kid. If they didn't stop him, he probably would have done more damage to the kid than he already did. And it helped shape Bay's negative feelings towards the stereotypical gay boy and he did everything he could not to be like that. Great update Sasha! Two in one day!

Funny, I just realized this story's main characters are Andy and Matt, which are also the names of two other main characters of another story on here. I actually think Emily and Gina are pretty mature. Yes, I know girls mature faster than boys, but they seem to have good heads on their shoulders and they're not willing to sacrifice what they believe in for a quick roll in the hay, so to speak. Emily sees what she did wrong with Andy and now she's sort of trapped. And of course Gina hit the nail on the head with Matt's feelings towards Andy. I think it's awesome that they both got on the varsity football team. I am surprised though that Andy got the QB position. Weren't there seniors or juniors qualified? Just strange they took a freshman. But good for Andy. Now they're football studs. lol
-
Ah, I forgot to review this chapter. I loved the whole 'kissing the mirror' thing. lol I thought it was pillows that you kiss. Definitely a good experience for both Andy and Matt to see what it's like seeing a girl. Too bad they each don't know how the other feels. I guess there wouldn't be a story then, huh? Ok, on to chapter nine.

Sal was very insightful; Bay can't run away forever. I actually thought Zupan was pretty obnoxious. Who says shit like that, making fun of someone's name? Ok, I had a question: for some reason, I thought quadrapalegics (did I spell that right?), did not have the use of any of their four limbs. If so, then how did Zupan get his shirt on and strap himself to the murder chair and wheel himself out? Just curious...
