Greetings Albert. It's an up and down day. I had chores needing doing so I got up and worked at them until my head aches too much then I lay down until it eased, then I got up again and worked at them until ... . Fortunately I've got most done so the pup and I are relaxing in the shade. There's a dozen ears of corn in the refrigerator that need to have the kernels cut off and cooked in order to freeze but I think that will wait until tomorrow.
Aww geez, I told him to strip off if he was gonna play in that murky water, that no one here would mind. What does he do? You can tell he's one of @Valkyrie's boys.
Thank you. With rest it eased enough I could do my weekly grocery shopping. Now, however, the pup and I are resting quietly indoors where it is cooler and the blinds are drawn.
I feel for you. We're forecast to have more extreme heat today, before the front arrives. It could be tomorrow evening before it actually moves through my area. The heat and humidity are playing havoc with my head. Nasty migraine developed yesterday, was better on awakening but is progessively worsening with the day. Blessed be y'all.
Hope Marty is enjoying his time with his family.
It's nearly 7pm and still 93/34° but with the humidity feels like 102/39°. It was even hotter earlier this afternoon. Tomorrow is to be hot as well and then a cold front is expected to bring relief.
Thanks for sorting that. I heard it on the radio while running my morning errands but then didn't see anything more. I should have waited for confirmation.
After each I could close my eyes and "see" them. I see fewer here than I recall in past summers. I hope it's just my recollection and not something more dire.
Nothing like starting a new story with a new life ... though I expect Mitch may be closing in on the end of his, sounds like he might have the consumption. Anxious to see where you take us this time.
I'm having rewarmed empanadas that I bought at Market. I have a beef and a chicken. I also had a salad of pea shoots with an onion/poppy seed dressing.
