I am a big fan of Pentatonix and this carol. This is an arrangement done by the original group.

I would but ... well, I made the cookies and they came out just right but no fudge. Instead I spent all afternoon setting up the minature Christmas village under our tree. It looks lovely. With luck the fudge will happen tomorrow. Well it pretty much has to since Monday morning we begin making up and delivering the cookie/treat trays we give out. I've got the carrier pigeon warming up in the coop ...

We are here in SC, thank you. We'll be baking black walnut cookies this morning. That will be the last of 16 kinds. Later today I'll make fudge.

Hmmm, 63/17° and foggy here at sunrise. Supposed to peak somewhere in the low 70's/22° before a cold front and light rain arrive overnight.

Nice chapter, good pacing with the brief vignettes of events. Plans for the tech centers are moving along. They seem to have settled in nicely to life in Mexico City. Even Northman seems resigned to tolerating CJ's activities.

Thank you Albert. The hurt is lessening. The thing is we did so much together. Mum says Thistle got to experience things many other dogs do not and he did it with enthusiasm. Because that's true there are a lot of first time with out him events. While it hurts it also reminds me how very fortunate I was to have him in my life.

Mum and I went to Charleston today. The weather was lovely, sunny with temp around 70/21°. It was somewhat bittersweet without Thistle. He loved going to Charleston. We had breakfast at the small cafe where we usually do. I shed a couple tears remembering when we were last there in the spring. The three of us sat at a table outside to enjoy the weather. Normally we would walk along the Battery but because that was a particular favorite activity of his we forego that this trip. Maybe next time. I'd like to take a bit of his ashes to sprinkle in the harbor.

Currently I'm at my mum's in coastal SC. I spend the winter with her before heading back to PA in late spring.

Remember that while ballet is considered an art, dancers are athletes. Consider checking out dietary guidelines for young soccer or lacrosse players, even cross country runners. They tend to be use the same muscle groups in sustained activity. Also, Max will benefit from the balanced meals you serve at home so a "treat" like a burger or milk shake after class isn't terrible just try to avoid deep fried items. Especially since in addition to the calories he expends in class he also needs to fuel his growth. You're doing a good job Page. Most parents second guess themselves.

Speaking of tourists. When Mum and I were out running errands yesterday we encountered a Cooper Mini with a Michigan license. Made me think of you because it had an image of the Mackinac bridge.
