    Chapter 16

You refer to his antlers as stunted but if I recall correctly, I am being too lazy to go back and verify, he sports a six-point rack. While that doesn't put him in Bambi, Prince of the Forrest league it is respectable and quite adequate for defense. Those tines are still sharp. Deer hooves are also effective, there's a great deal of power in those slender legs. I also believe that, yes, Cyn would be quite capable of dealing with a single wolf. The wolves he's encountered in the forrest were in packs quite a different scenario where flight is the better option to fight. However, here we're considering him as part of a team supported by friendly wolves. All that being said I'm eager to see what surprises you have in store for us.
  18. Complete with a loving doorman ... do you wear a spiffy uniform?
  19. Saying it once was adequate. Double posting on my part was redundant.
  20. We've return to warm sunny weather after a day and a half of rain. Current temp is 69/20°. Mum, Thistle and I worked outdoors this morning. Mum weeded, I pruned shrubbery and Thistle supervised and greeted passing neighbors. Success on all parts.

    Chapter 39

Well that was interesting. How did Fergus get in without the dogs raising an alarm? I'm still puzzled by the spilled perfume, don't believe it's insignificant having now been mentioned in twice. These things suggest he was welcome except he threatened Jada and Maddie's well-being if Sawyer cried out. So many questions so few answers.
  24. It's currently 42/5° and raining. Not a pleasant day.
  25. We had chicken barley soup along with warm french bread for our evening meal. Mum declared it perfect because the weather had turned chill and rainy. This morning is even chillier and raining even harder.
