We had golden tilefish baked in parchment, baked sweet potato and salad. It was a difficult day for me as my head was troublesome so I needed something easily prepared.

It is a not very pleasant day here. Despite the temp remaining in the low 50's/11-12° all day it has been damp. We've had bouts of light rain off and on. There's also just enough breeze to make it chilly. I'm currently sipping at a large mug of Scottish Breakfast tea with milk and honey.

Hmmm, intriguing. Typically don't read this sort of thing but I've enjoyed others of your work so gave it a try. While still not my thing I can appreciate how well done this is. The story like the island is bleak and without escape. Once there you remain captive until the end.

Wow! A lot happened in this chapter. As always it was great to see Brad again. Life moves on ... for everyone. Atlanta, Colorado Springs, DC, Mexico City, Miami, Ritch may be the pilot but others have sprouted wings too. Donovan seems like trouble but this is the CJverse, rehab happens with people too. I am curious as to why the cops called Ceasar when he was arrested.

Took mum out to a nearby breakfast/burger/bbq place for lunch. They make great burgers and fresh cut fries. Mum order a bbq sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was a 1/3lb of bbq. She managed to eat it and some of her fries but declared she doesn't need anything for supper.

That seems plain simple stupidity. I suspect the plan was to get their hands on Sawyer so why on earth attack Jada? It just doesn't make sense. Has Fergus really slipped that far from reality that he would condone this. We haven't heard from Maddie since the luncheon with Jimmy. We all, well many of us suspect there's more to her than meets the eye. Jimmy and Sawyer may have kept what happened to Sawyer from her but the attack on Jada is gonna come out. Even Fergus's in with local LEO isn't going to be able to bury it. Will be interesting to see what she does. Keeping this from the Pack is gonna be a problem too. An animal attack on a local woman and another beta disappearing on a "special mission".
