    Making Ready

Picking the flower was touching. So too was Stravor washing Keter's back. Having purchased him many would view the boy as nothing more than a possession. My question is, did Stravor buy Keter to have easily at hand or to protect him from other Seachers. Too often people skip over the mundane things such as buying the pony baskets and how they are weatherproofed or sending Keter to buy sweets and which he chose. The differing viewpoints concerning Shade are true to character. For one he is simply useful to the other he's a new friend. I think Shade is going to br stubbornly loyal to Keter. Well conceived chapter. I like how this is progressing.
  2. See. You should have stated that sooner. It sounded like you were just planning to mooch at his table.
  3. Excellent chapter.

    Chapter 9

Am I the only one that realized that as soon as Mr Griffiths took ahold of young Mr Lewis' arm to drag him away he committed an act of assault? Lewis is no longer a student of the school, he is a private citizen there by invitation, so to physically remove him is beyond Griffith's authority. Griffith has won this battle he only thinks he has. What's Jock going to do ...

I think you mean Mr Griffiths, Lowry is the lad everyone is supporting.

  13. She's well thanks. She'll be flying here in three weeks. We're all anxious.
  14. You know she'll be fine. Is she the sort to gobble her food when you put it in her dish? If not try free feeding. Doesn't work with all dogs but I've had success with both my previous dog, Missy and with Thistle. There is always food in his dish. He eats what he wants when he's hungry. I usually limit how much I put in at any one time. Typically what is reccomended for his size. He's maintained a healthy weight as lons I've had him.
  15. Strange, I've never heard of it 🤔
  16. I had a toasted roast beef and cheddar sandwich with fries.
  17. She's likely feeling good about taking care of someone rather than being the one taken care of.
  18. Just remember it goes in your arm not your bum.
  19. I gave them to Mum when I had them as a kid. Shouldn't have happened as she'd had them on both sides as a child. Still when I had them she got them again but just the one side, don't recall which. I was such a giving child ... grew out of that.
  20. G'day y'all. After an evening of rain the day dawned cool and foggy but is clearing.
  21. And one for Val between the two ...
  22. Is that the same as letting the pot go empty and scorching the remnants?
  23. So are the shoes running shoes that walk or walking shoes that run ... what if the right shoes decides to do one and the left chooses to do the other?
  24. You think he might be sitting in the dark ...
  25. G'day y'all. @Page Scrawler your prezzie is coming. I woke from my nap with a massive migraine. It's begun to ease so maybe today. His name was Shane.
