There is shopping and there is buying. Shopping does not need to include the expenditure of funds. This is something we tell folk who wander into the shop at faire. Yes we would like if they buy things but we want them to enjoy there visit so we encourage them to touch and try things on, to frolic about. It is afterall a festival day.
I made mongolian beef with jasmine rice for dinner. I tweaked the recipe a bit and used tenderlioin tips instead of flank steak and added some radish and roasted broccoli. It was tasty.
Not as hot today 84/29° but still really humid so it feels like 89/31°. The forecast is for t-storms later. I'm hoping so, we could use some rain. I spent part of the morning watering all my potted plants. I have a 2-gallon watering can. I filled it 11 times. I have several large plants in pots. The five in the shade get a good soaking once a week. The other six get that good soaking plus a gallon or so each day when it's this hot and dry.

I read an article this morning small children are generally not fond if bearded men. They do however view them as strong. Apparently beards hide most facial expressions excepting those related to anger. Once children reach puberty their opinion changes and they view beards much more favorably. Perhaps there is still hope for you Marty.
