Oh good grief, I poured my coffee almost 5 hours ago. The self timer is set for 4:25am so that the first thing I smell when my alarm goes off 5 minutes later is coffee. Well, the first thing other than Thistle who is usually curled up against my chest.

Weather is a major trigger for me and the one I have the least control over. I also started a new med, Ajovy, during the same period so there could be a number of factors.

I could be worse. I woke with a mild migraine this morning and have things that must be done today so I am forcing the issue. I'll pay for it later but I have a massage scheduled for late afternoon so I'm hoping it will help.

Sounded tasty 'til you threw in the macadamis nuts, moderately allergic, mum is extremely so. I prefer pecans. Oh, what brand of chocolate chips do you use? I prefer Ghiradelli or Guittard.

Hey, that's good sales for a camp day. Most of them don't bring more than $5 with them. Buttons are the only thing in the shop in their price range. They pick one they like and we string on colored cord for them to wear as a pendant.

Well and you had to refrain from nuking so there had to be a build up that required relief.

Page dear, we love you, you know that but sometimes you need to stop and think about what you say. Your question makes it seem as if you think there's something wrong with Marty's cookies. There isn't. That's how he bakes cookies and it sounds as if the person he baked them for will be very happy to have them.

My guess Page, would be that like most ovens Marty's heats unevenly. As long as I can remember when Mum bakes cookies at the halway point in baking she will rotate the tray 180° and move it from the lower rack to the upper rack so they will bake evenly. Her mother did the same. It's a matter of taste and how you were taught.

I have say. I cast my vote with Page on this one. Mum would make them occasionally in the fall. There's a local Amish/Mennonite bakery that makes apple cider doughnuts in the autumn.

There is a Bell & Evans plant near here but they process poultry. Well that's what they say ... chicken, children so hard to tell.

Was okay. Got to the faire at 8am to prep the shop. At 9am the children arrived. A moderate crown of four thousand were expected. They were well behaved. Most are youngsters from summer day camps. At a bit before 2pm a rainstorm arrived and lasted about 20 minutes. At 3pm we closed the shop. We sold $19.50 worth of buttons.
