Now that summer is coming to an end where I live, I just had to ask: What is everyone's favorite time of year, and why? My favorite time of the year is right now- from like mid-july until halloween when it starts to get really cold.

I haven't bought a gaming system since the n64. I'm still stuck on Golden Eye 007 and all the older Mario games. Those seem like the only things me and my friends ever want to play.

I hate it when people people use the word just. There's something about prefacing a thought that makes me think the author is speaking rather than the characters. I also don't like reading other noncommittal prefacing statements: perhaps, maybe, a little, a lot, possible, sometime, very, I think, etc. example: Maybe what I said just now was a little not nice. It's possible that a lot of people perhaps might think differently.

I try to go barefoot as much as possible during the summer. But other than that.. sneakers or flip flops will do.

When I was younger I remember watching Peter Pan, Aladdin and ET about a million times. I've also seen movies like Good Will Hunting, The Wedding Singer, That thing you do, Mrs. Doubtfire, Stripes, Better off Dead, Star Wars, Dirty Dancing, Ever After and Lord of The Rings like 10 times each- it seems like my family just keeps watching them over and over.

Hi! I joined GA this year, and I've been thinking about why. Aside from the awesome community and writing, I think the other reason I joined is because I'm cheap. Something nobody knows here but.. I'm obsessed with finding free things. GA was a perfect match for my love of reading- freely . In my real life mode I'm a bisexual 23 year old grad student with a boyfriend and friends. Most of my free time is spent hanging around at the beach or diners and creating (minor) mischief. I really like music, board games, staying up late, reading, writing, art, summer, and France. I like putting together playlists for my friends, burning the CD's and then drawing designs on them. Lately I've been pretty busy reading art theory and setting up my studio for the semester.

I always skim the first chapter to see if I'm into the writing, but once I do that if I like the piece I'll usually just read the whole thing if I can.

I read a lot of different genres, but my favorite stories always seem to be romance/ drama driven. One thing that will stop me from reading a story is poor writing. When there are too many errors I just go into editor mode and it drives me nuts. Also, I like reading work that has an original plot. I think it's okay to focus on the same subject matter in works, but there should be something original about each story.

Out of all the movies I've seen I think the one that scares me the most is actually Pan's Labyrinth. The part down in the cave where the unseeing thing is chasing her gives me real creeps.

Wow heavy conversations in this chapter. It's nice to see Max realize that he needs to start dealing with his emotions rather than ignoring them, or using sex to deal with them.

Me and my friends were talking about this the other day, and we came up with some words that we dislike: mucus, phlegm, facade, benevolent, goodbye. It can be because the word has a gross meaning, an unpleasant sound to it or you just don't like to say it. Let me know which words you don't like and why
