    Chapter 3

Thanks for taking the time to review my story. I hop you continue to enjoy it as it unfolds. Here are the links to the two stories you asked about. Let me know what you think. Jim https://www.gayauthors.org/story/sojourn/gordycomeshome https://www.gayauthors.org/story/sojourn/TR39sTale

    Chapter 3

Maria was more than happy to tell Jeff all about the ranch and the horses which she loved and the cattle which she thought were noisy and smelly. Cattle, in her mind, were on about the same scale as boys. Paul asked if they could take Jeff's Tahoe since his Explorer was set up to be his 'office' on wheels? After a quick phone call and shifting the car seat into the Tahoe the trio took off for Uncle Joes. Jeff made a mental note of the car seat for another Amazon order. Arriving at the

Change of Heart Chapter one By Jim Ford Sojourn1950@yahoo.com Jeff stared intensely at his reflection as though he could change what he saw if he concentrated hard enough. The problem was he didn't really know what to change. Maybe he was feeling antsy cause he was only a couple of years from the “big three-oh”. Although age hadn't really been a concern since he had been old enough to legally purchase alcohol. Still, there was this feeling he had noticed r

    Chapter 2

Jeff smiled knowing he was in an exceptionally good mood for no apparent reason. Not yet opening his eyes he also knew he was somewhere between dreams and fully awake. Feelings of euphoria swirled through his being. He mused for a moment, then recalled the night before. He and Paul had made love three times before falling asleep in near exhaustion. Smiling even more broadly, he wanted to shout out his exuberance at simply being alive and in love… in love? Suddenly aware of the extra body in his
  5. Attorney Jeffrey G. Adams feels antsy even though life in Chicago is actually going very well. Still, going back home to Texas for the holidays after almost three years away feels like the right thing to do. Maybe the change of scenery and a chance to visit with family and friends will settle his disquiet. But, maybe the change he really needs is not a physical change at all. Maybe the change Jeff really needs is a Change of Heart. Once back home, he'll learn that the best "life’s lessons" are almost always a shared experience.

    Chapter 26

    Welcome back. You were missed.

    Chapter 34

Worth waiting for. Write more, post more. Thanks
  8. I have lauded your skills as a writer and am hooked on the story, I just think this "delay" could have been better timed. Perhaps at a point without so many unanswered questions it would be easier to understand.
  9. I see this as a really dark story of a troubled young man. Each time he takes one step forward he is pushed two steps back. My money is on Luke inciting evil beyond writing letters and stabbing cars (which I think he did). Great story. More please.

    Chapter 1

I envy the way you paint a tale with minimum strokes and what appears to be so little effort. To me this is the perfect short story. I didn't notice there was no physical description until I read it in a review. Great story, buddy. Please keep them coming. ps: I did get the right story this time didn't I?

    Chapter 33

I wanted to see a happy ending... if not with Charlie then with Dandie... I am not happy with the ironic ending.... irony is not happy, at least not in this case. I hope you go on with the tale. If not, I hope you consider rewriting the last chapter... It was a good read.

    Chapter 20

It reads like any good, really good novel. I should have reviewed earlier but each chapter convinced me to read on. Great Story!

    Chapter 1

Well written. At this point one can go anywhere with this story. I am interested in getting to know the protagonist better. This chapter leaves me with great expectations. more please

    Chapter 2

I was surprised to see a sequel, Brian killed Roland off so effectively with a hammer. You lulled me in with a steady rhythm. Then Roland shows up as Kevin's cousin and I am thinking ah... so he didn't really swing the hammer... good. Then it's the old who killed JR just a dream. Then Roland killed in a motorcycle wreck. He has more lives than South Park's, Kenny. I can't wait to see where this is going. PLEASE writefasterpostsooner... more please. I don't like unhappy endings, but I am hooked. More please

    Chapter 2

I was prepared to dislike the story after the "coming out" scene. Then it was well written and worked out well. I think the dialog is a little mature for fourteen year olds. Other than that I think it is a good story. BTW, anyone who ever lived in Arkansas knows "ever time, ever chance, ever thing" are all colloquailisms and perfectly acceptable in a fictional account. Go Hawgs!

    Chapter 1

Jim cussed as the traffic refused to let him make a left hand turn into the parking lot. He wondered if someone he knew would see him turning into this place. It's not like this feeling, this need could be acknowledged anywhere else, especially to friends, neighbors or family. Jim was a recent convert and though his baptism had not taken place here. He felt he would be welcomed... still if his friends saw him. Oh well, traffic had cleared, no point in changing his mind now. As he pulled i
