Malik's had more than his fair share of trauma. The blue light is definitely mysterious. Thanks for commenting!

I am a paragon of benevolence. Unless you are late for your PT appointment.

Comments are always welcome but please don't feel pressured to keep up with my posting schedule. Hazardous is a long, three book series, so it'll be updating for a while. I appreciate you taking the time to read and leave feedback.

Thank you for giving Hazardous a try and this very detailed comment! Malik is in a tough place and has some rough times ahead, but he's tougher than he thinks as well. And yeah, lock picking the door was a dumb idea, but luckily Malik has plenty of bad ideas to keep things interesting. I hope you continue to enjoy reading Hazardous . New chapters go up weekly!

So I arrived to the clinic a little early this morning and decided to spend a few minutes in my car reading about a cute blue haired boy. Well, I was having so much fun reading about him and Al that I lost track of time and was late. To. Work. As a grown woman capable of making her own choices, I totally blame you for this. But I really enjoyed this. I like Brandon a lot. I like that he's artistic, I like his cocky attitude and I like that he knows the atomic weight of silver. I look forward to learning more about him.

Malik felt like he was floating or maybe flying. There was wind in his face and a delightful sensation of lightness around him. His stomach felt like it was floating, and all of a sudden, he recognized the semi-familiar sensation from an amusement park ride. I’m not flying, I’m fall– Before he could finish the thought and start to panic, he landed on his back, a hard, jarring thump. It knocked the wind out of him, and his entire body sang with the pain of impact.

1. Would you like a regular temperature year round or do you like your seasons? I like 3 out of the 4 seasons. Winter, especially this past one, can go "you know what" to itself. 2. Do you wear sunscreen regularly? Yes. 3. Did you watch any TV or Movies yesterday? I watched The Pelican Brief with my mom. I also watched the first half of Top Gun, which is one of her favorite movies. I said, "There's subtext here, right?" She asked what I meant. I repeated, "Subtext. It's here, isn't it?" She thinks for a moment and then "I mean, yeah all these guys have big egos." 4. Do you own any old paperbacks or hard cover books still? I have a copy of Carrie that is so old, it still had the old order sheets in the back that you would fill out and mail in to have more books shipped to you. 5. Do you ever read them or are you a digital kind of person now? I read paperback or hardback books almost exclusively. Looking at screens makes my eyes tired. 6. What is the last book as on paper, did you read? The Scribe of Sienna. Right now I'm reading Stolen Focus by Johann Hari, which is a nonfiction book.

Yeah, I've heard that the big airports are getting hit hard. One of my patients told me his wife has been stuck in Atlanta for at least another week.

Sounds like an amazing time! Enjoy!

That's a great perspective. Thanks for reading and commenting!

Malik's friends were kinda shitty, but when I was a teenager, I might have been tempted to ignore an awkward situation instead of facing up to it. Too bad it blew up in their faces, lol. Thank you so much for all your help with this.

That's true. TSA seems to be very topical at the moment. Thanks for commenting and I'm glad you like it!

Thank you for commenting. A lot of Malik's skills become helpful later on. As for your question, we don't spend a lot of time in this world, but later on it is clarified that Malik is originally from Chicago, but since I like you, I'm sharing that tidbit early. I'm glad you like it so far.

I agree. Thank you!

Malik's heart pounded inside of his chest. He was balanced on the balls of his feet, sweat soaked hair clinging to his forehead. His gaze was sharp and focused, watching his opponent’s every move. He was tired, fatigue pulling at his muscles, but so was his opponent and that made him sloppy. His opponent moved in to throw a left hook, but he dropped his right hand, allowing Malik to counter with a left hook of his own. His opponent stumbled and swore, then moved in to punch aga

Jaded and cynical, Malik just wants two things: escape his abusive stepdad and be left alone. But when a chance encounter opens up an entire new world for him, Malik finds out that some things, and some people, are worth fighting for.

I won't touch AI if I can help it. Not in my writing and not in my professional life. I usually try to turn it off whenever it pops up.

We did a few Shakespeare plays: Romeo and Juliet, Julius Ceasar and Hamlet. Maybe Macbeth but that might have been college. Also The Scarlet Letter and The Crucible. And Wuthering Heights, Beowolf, The Canterbury Tales, Heart of Darkness and 1984 for 12th grade English Lit. Probably more, but that was a long time ago, hard to remember.

Also a Capricorn. I was looking over info once and nothing really resonated until I read about Capricorn dislikes. Dislikes: Everything, at some point.
