1 am for me and it's full struggle bus today.

I always enjoy @Comicality's Writing Articles. Gave me plenty to think about.

Elevating the leg in the evening may help with the swelling.

That sounds delightful. A grilled cheese sandwich is always a good choice!

I pay way too much to have someone do them for me. It was easy when I just had one or two pieces of paper, but now I have so many things...it just takes so much of the stress away.

Good Lord, don't even get me started. I hate dealing with them both as a healthcare worker as well as someone who needs medical care from time to time.

As would I be!

I'm glad you did too.

Off work with a sinus infection. Plan to read all day and not leave the couch.

This looks like a fun word to say. -

I think I need a clearer definition of what constitutes a "nice butt". For posterity.

I'm a bit late to this party...I work with feet way too much to find them attractive. I'm neutral about them, but they gross some of my coworkers out, so I usually end up working with foot patients. No judgements though. I'm crazy for a nice back myself.

I do cardio 3 x week and strength training 2 x. I would like a bit more, but when I push, my shoulders or knee starts to act up. I have a moderately physical job, which also helps and will sometimes exercise with my patients.

That is the worst part of getting older, in my opinion. My right shoulder has been killing me for the past several days. My crime? Carrying my whiny 3 year old nephew for about ten minutes while walking to our parking spot downtown. He can't be more than 30 or so pounds.
-
I go one past that and add in the third verse as well: why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention the plank in your own eye? Cause most judgemental people are also hypocrites. No one is perfect.

I've had some weight fluctuations over the years. When my weight was normal, or even a bit overweight, I never got comments on my weight or what I ate. When my weight goes down, I get a lot of comments...not compliments. The one time I snapped was when I was out to eat with some coworkers. I got a meal and ate what I wanted. A coworker gave me a disgusted look and said "Is that all you're eating?" I think it was the expression that made me shoot back. "Yes, Lindsay, that's all I'm eating. It's none of your business, stop policing my food!" Comments from coworkers stopped after that.

The amount of people who feel entitled to comment on my weight and eating habits when I'm "skinny" is insane.
-
I used to be. It was back at a time when I was really unhealthy so I get their concern, but I'm at a much better place now. Ditto on the donuts, though!
-
I'm going to be generous and believe that the weight comments came from a place of concern...although Dad's statement of "make sure you're not skin and bones again" could have been worded a bit more diplomatically.

Holiday weekend with the family was successful. Most tantrums were thrown by the three year old, I only wanted to slap someone once and the weight comments were kept to a minimum.

My parsley did great, but I couldn't keep my basil alive for anything.

I kept mine in a pot and it still gew like crazy everywhere.

I loved those eggs when I was little! Then when I was around 12 or so, I was eating one in the car and discovered that I didn't like it very much. Turns out I get car sick and now those little eggs make me nauseated.

Some Wiccans call this Ostara.
