This is a problem that will not only show up later in your writing, but it can end up damaging your whole project and cause it to collapse in on itself if you’re not careful, or it might even cause you to abandon it altogether. So, like...DON’T! K? Hehehe! This is the only point in this excellent article that I disagree with. Because I've been through that and it totally sucks, but sometimes that is what you need to hone that skill of seeing what is enough to work with and what isn't. That took me years and 2 failed projects to learn, so it's important to know this might happen, but I think it's one of those things you have to learn by doing. Sometimes you think you have a good burger, because it looks good and smells good, then you bite into it and find onions, or a pickle, or soggy tomato, or whatever ruins a burger for you. And if you've already pulled away from the McDonald's drive thru, there's no salvaging the burger, you just have to throw it out, and start over. Or steal your sister's chicken nuggets when she's not looking. Okay, that might be taking the analogy too far. Great article as always!

Thank you so much for the comments! This was a little outside my comfort zone but I wanted to write about grief and storms, so we got this mess! I'm so glad you enjoyed and thanks again for the comments, they mean a lot to me.

I don't do resolutions. I think if you want to improve your life in any way, you shouldn't have to wait until a certain time of year to do so. And if you do, then January probably isn't the best pick.
