The dating side is moving slowly. My psychiatrist says I might be intimidating because I'm hard to read. This was news to me, so I asked my Mom if I was intimidating and she said "If you are, you get that from your dad."
I'm proofreading a chapter where a character has stubbed his toe. I have broken two toes, this year, from stubbing them and it's really hard for me not to break his foot right now.
Thank you, this is very comforting. Funnily enough, this happened just days after my last therapy appointment (I'm a mess, lol) but I'll bring it up next time.
I'm hoping. I knew what it was, because I've read about it. But lying in my bed, completely unable to move and feeling the presence of someone watching but being unable to turn head to see who it is...very weird and scary.
No. But this is happening right in my back yard. I went outside and there were a couple of people with cell phone flashlights circling a dark house. At least one of them was a girl and she was talking about trying to find something.
They've left though.
So...either I'm watching the least stealthy home break in ever, or someone has lost their key.
Bunch of people walking around with cell phone flashlights, I can see them from the couch. I'm going to investigate.
Unfortunately, I was unable to make this year's anthology. I've written for several and I love that the site is still keeping them going, but it left me without a lot of time and I have some longer works I want to focus on. So I am taking a break.
