  1. I mean, if you want an audience for that, more power to you.
  2. While this is very nice, it doesn't exactly require inspiration for writing, but...other things.
  3. Hello! I have been buried with work and chores and crying because the muse is not cooperating.
  4. I am an aspiring herbalist.
  5. Yes! That was a favorite place for my Blackberry to land (back when I had one instead of the ginormous cell phones we have now).
  6. I found it! It had fallen in the no-man's land between my chair and my end table, which you can only see by sitting in the chair and looking straight down.
  7. So, as a person with ADHD, I am used to losing things. I did some writing in my blue notebook earlier when I was enjoying the nice weather and now I can't find it. I know it hasn't left the house and I have retraced my steps multiple times with no luck. I am equal parts frustrated and flummoxed. Anyone else ever have this happen?
  8. That is what I've been doing when I read. My vision is worse for distance, and what the doctor did was lessen the strength for distance so I could read better. I tried the new prescription for contacts last night and was able to read better, which is encouraging. They don't make bifocal contacts.
  9. Went to the eye doc today. She doesn't want to remove my cataracts, but said I might want to consider bifocals in the future. I've never felt so old, lol.
  10. I will try anything once. Except for the maggoty cheese @clochette mentioned a while back.
  11. If you think I'm sharing that buttery, garlicky perfection, you're crazy. Get us both a full plate.
  12. Escargot is delicious and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
  13. Or excessive tightness of the piriformis.
  14. Better, actually. I kept it taped most of the time at the beach, but was able to get up on a bouncey pad with my nephew yesterday.
  15. Vacation almost over. Exhausted and sunburnt, but wouldn't trade a moment.

    Geek Chic

I wrote an entire book about a geek and it was so much fun. I love it, great article.
  17. I wrote mine in a panic and caffiene fueled frenzy from 9 pm to 2 AM. I think I got a B.
  18. I had a similar scenario to #165, but it was a term paper for school instead of a work project. It was a Sunday when I discovered the term paper that I thought was due next Monday was due tomorrow. At 9 P.M. Horrible feeling.
  19. At the beach. Foot is very sore but I don't give a rip. Beach and pool this morning then lunch and a nap on the deck. I might be in heaven.
  20. Leaving for the beach on Sunday...Lee better stay outta my way! 🥊
  21. Oh, I still plan on going. It just would be nice to walk in the sand after dinner or chase my nephew in the waves.
  22. Advil for the pain. I used some Redlight therapy on it earlier and that seemed to help. Last time we went to the beach, I was recovering from a stress fracture and was looking forward to walking in the sand.
  23. Guess who broke their toe less than a week before they are supposed to leave for the beach?
  24. Well, they all waited for me to go in first, so...
  25. One of my patients and the teenage girl who helps at the front desk were waiting when I pulled into the clinic. I was told there was "a body" in the front vestibule of the building. Turns out to be a guy (possibly homeless) taking a nap.
