There’s a sound that things make when they break in two. If you snap a twig over your knee, or shatter a glass on the floor, there’s always a sound, an alarm, something that reminds you that something has broken. In that moment, looking at Pete, and feeling my heart break into a million little pieces, I waited for a sound. Something. Nothing but silence ever came. I didn’t say anything to him. I didn’t respond, I didn’t even shake my head or ack

Thanks for the review! I went and listened to this song, and I must say, I loved it! Thanks for thinking about this story when you were listening. More to come soon.

You know things are bad with Corbin when people want him to work it out with LEE! I'm enjoying writing their little partnership, so you really never know. I loved what you and Carrie both said about drunken words, sober thoughts... I had a friend who used to say that to me whenever... well... this is an autobiography, so look for a character to potentially say that. Until then! Loved this review. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for the review! Someone earlier said it was great to see the juxta of Corbin going from fully dominant to fully vulnerable... Those are the kinds of characters I have the most fun writing. Seeing all powerful Corbin get grounded, in my opinion, is the realistic way. Loved reading your thoughts! Thanks so much.

All is well.. I'm back for the long haul... at least the next "season" I guess you could say. Loved your speculation on Lee... I can't say where that relationship is heading without spoiling anything, but I did find your prediction... interesting. More to come, and as always, LOVED the review and reading your thoughts. Thanks so much!

We do see Corbin at his two extremes in this chapter, I guess! I'd never thought about it that way, but you're right. I'm glad the story was worth the wait... and I'm glad the beginning was just hot enough for Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review. I'm having a lot of fun writing the aftermath to this current pete-episode, as you put it, so I hope you enjoy. Thanks for the compliment on the writing! Much appreciated. More to come.

Could you imagine Corbin's wrath if Lee screwed around with Pete? There's no way the freshman would survive that one!! Thanks for the review. More to come much sooner than later.

Thanks PeeAnt, for the review. You know I can't stay away from developing these polarizing characters. More to come

Thanks for the review! I was really glad to your hear thoughts on the chapter. I completely understand your position on Corbin, and how you get mixed emotions. I think that's what makes him such a complex character, and in the next few chapters, he'll have to deal with his more manipulative side head on like he hasn't before. Thanks again! More to come.

I must have missed this somewhere along the way! There are some plans to have Corbin and Amanda interact, probably as we round out to towards the next semester. Their lives are too intertwined to avoid it. Hope that enough of an answer for you without giving anything away

Hey! Thanks for the review. I think Corbin has grown up a lot in the story as we've seen him progress. I'm hoping his reaction to Pete's latest move indicates. That growth. No spoilers, but we'll see what happens. More to come!

Thanks for the review! Interesting juxtaposition between mike and Pete, which will continue to be a theme of the story as it has been before. Although it's a similar situation a we've seen, look for Corbin's reaction to be anything but. I'm glad you have destroy dom on your to-do list for him! Love that.

I felt the pulse build up inside of me like a volcano ready to erupt. I did everything in my power to stop it, but by then, I had become powerless. “Oh fuck,” I sighed. It was like I was floating above myself. I was torn between wanting the relief of letting myself drain into Lee’s mouth, and wanting the feeling of his mouth around my impossibly hard cock to continue on forever. But I knew that I couldn’t make it last forever, so I sat up, broug
  15. Thanks Timothy for your amazing words. The support for this story had been overwhelming and it's what keeps me writing. I can't wait to start posting updates soon. This story, being so close to my life, has been an experience I'll never forget. Thanks again!

Alvin! I'm glad you found the website and story okay. 2 days to finish all 27 chapters is quite the accomplishment! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. I think with the filler in each chapter, it's magnified when you read multiple chapters at once. Taken one chapter every couple weeks, the way it's released here, I'm of the mind that the filler serves the story. But I agree, if I were to bundle this up in one publication, there are a lot of scenes that could get cut. The majority of the story is autobiographical with only some minor changes that don't affect the story and the outcome. I try to read different stories here and there, but honestly when I'm not working or watching Real Housewives or Scandal, I'm writing this story. Thanks again! And another chapter should be up... hopefully, before the Thanksgiving holiday

Don't be tardy for the party... whoawhoa!! Thanks for the review! Loved it as usual. The next chapter begins with a scene with Lee and Corbin that I think will answer your questions about that dynamic... So far we've only seen Corbin have sex with someone he has some sort of feelings for (even Lee the first couple times, there was something intriguing there...) There's a shift in Corbin that is much more... well, I'll let you read it for yourself very soon. Thanks again!

Thanks for the review pfox! I'm glad there's another person in the Pete camp. I think you're right, he is a complicated individual which might be what's splitting people on him. As for lee, well I won't spoil what's coming... So nevermind thanks again!

I think you're spot on that Corbin sees in Pete someone he can't necessarily manipulate. I'd say that's the same thing with Mike as well. With those two, Corbin isn't the master planner he is used to being. I'm glad you continue to enjoy the depiction of the relationships so far. One caveat: who said Mike is on the back burner for the entire six months...?

So glad to read a review from you! Thanks so much for taking the time to write something up. I always love your takes on the subject. I read the 'toxic' comments as more of Pete influencing Corbin to make questionable decisions: re his revenge plan, dumping mike, the list goes on. If they were perfect for each other, this would be a very short story I love that someone isn't sketched out by the lee/Corbin dynamic. I wonder how you'll feel as it unfolds. Thanks again!

Love the different reactions to Corbin going to the 'dark side'. Can't wait to hear what you think as his master plan unfolds. You know what they say, the best laid plans of mice and men.

Thank so much for the review! I'm going to think about the word you used, toxic. It's an interesting take on their relationship. As for dom, Corbin might not have had a plan going in, but he definitely has one now. More to come.

“Michael Loggerman, that is not fair,” I said with a strength in my voice that I knew wouldn’t last. “Not fair? What isn’t fair, Corbin?” he spat back at me. “You can’t tell me that you could change your life for me. There is a long way from could to would, last I checked,” I said, my voice railing with a combination of guilt, anger, and sadness. Had I expected this to be easy? Not by a mile. But I hadn’t expected Mike to sit there and tell me that he could have

Lisa! Loved the review, as usual. Thanks so much for taking the time to send this! I loved your assessment of the Mike/Corbin relationship. They've definitely grown together over the course of this story so far... and it resonates. I'll go ahead and tease that this isn't the last we see of Mike (some other posters were wondering...) Also, you always pick up the nuances of what the characters say to each other. Look for Pete to have some very calculated words moving forward... more so than his 'i know' in bed about Garth... more to come very soon. I just took a break from writing to respond to this
