Hey! Thanks for the review. I'm glad you were able to connect with Corbin's backstory. It's the first time I've ever done something like that to explain a character, but I think the fact is Pete and Corbin were long overdue for that kind of convo. More to come

Thanks for the review, Tim! I always look forward to what you have to think. I hope that Corbin's next move towards Dom is surprising and satisfying. There's still so much story to unfold between these guys. Glad you're enjoying it.

The next ten to fifteen minute of my life were more like an out of body experience than anything I’d been through before. The split second after Mike knocked Pete across the face, I jumped between them, forming a barrier between the two guys that I had been orbiting like a dysfunctional moon. My forearm caught Mike’s stomach as I watched Pete fall to the ground, pushing a bikini clad Chi-O sister back as he fell. He was down for a second, his eyes wide, wondering what had just h

Sorry I missed this. More coming soon, I promise.

I won't rip you a knew one, I promise. My motto this year has been better late than never. And you know I love your reviews! Thanks for the etymology link to Corbie... that's really really interesting. I know that Corbin can be hard to like sometimes- my Beta reminds me every two chapters or so- but I've always been fascinated by the balance of good traits and bad traits in my characters. As long as he remains possible to root for... more to come soon, including the aftermath of the hit heard round campus... don't wait so long this time.

Very perceptive reading of Corbin... interesting that you see him as forcing himself to settle for Mike, and what that means moving forward. I guess that's the big question. Thanks so much for the compliment on the chapter! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The aftershock of Mike's fuck up is coming soon.

Thanks for the review! I love that line you used... it just grew some muscle. It looks like it did! More to come soon

Thanks for the awesome review. Glad the chapter was worth the wait. Thanks for the compliment on taking us through Corbin's mind. When he's at his worst, he's the most fun to write. I'm just hoping we're still rooting for him in the end. More to come, and can't wait to see what you think. Thanks again.

Wow! Thanks so much for the review. Glad you enjoyed the chapter... more to come soon!

Wow, lots of thought provoking questions. I love it! Remember, when it comes to Pete and Corbin, these boys are in their very early twenties... I think we can all remember how volatile we were then, so I wouldn't assume this punch has signaled the end. I remember hearing a song that said "love has to hurt for it to turn out right..." You've brought up some scenarios I hadn't thought of yet, and I'm loving how many possibilities there are for this story! Thanks for the review, Louis. As always, I look forward to reading your responses.

Don't worry, Carrie! I'm marking my calendar for two actual weeks this time around. I'm sure Lisa is going to rip me a new one about my definition of two weeks as well!... uh oh I always love your reviews, love, and you nailed it in describing how Corbin is going to feel about that hit... proud, but hitting is bad. That's the only tease I'm putting out there... thanks again for an amazing response! see you in two weeks...ish.

Thanks for the review! I'm so glad that you're hooked on our little story. Definitely more to come. I don't disagree with you on Corbin's treatment of Lee... definitely verging on the cruel side. I think Corbin thinks he's doing the right thing at the time, but if you notice he does offer up some remorse when thinking back on the event in the present. Still, expect more fireworks between those two. Thanks again!

Uh oh... another member of Team Mike! He's garnering quite a following. Glad you liked the chapter! More to come soon.

pfox, thanks for the review! I always enjoy reading your reactions to the chapter. There's definitely more on Lee's story in the next chapter, so he stays in the spotlight for a little while. As for Mike and Pete... well, I won't tease what's to come. Hope you enjoy!
-
Timothy! Thanks for the awesome review. Very interesting observations on Corbin's reaction to the hit. I don't want to give anything away, but I hope you enjoy the beginning of the next chapter. I'll try not to take too terribly long to post it. And how exactly do you propose Corbin show his appreciation to Mike? Just curious
-
Glad Mike has some fans in his corner... I don't disagree with you on Corbin's threat to Lee... a lot still to tell from that plot within the story. More in a couple weeks, and thanks again for the review!
-
Charlie, thanks again for the compliment! Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Can't wait to put out the next few installments.
-
Thanks for the review, Rosicky! Glad you liked the chapter. I'm glad Mike has some people on his corner. Very interesting what you said about Mike and Corbin accomplishing the same thing, one with force and one with words. Look for that to come up in the next chapter...!

Chapter 23 They say that pride comes before the fall. What they don’t say, what the proverbial they so conveniently leave out, is how hard that fall actually is. And it’s only when you’ve hit rock bottom that you take a look around, and realize that it’s your fault you’re sitting there in the first place. I woke up that Monday morning still feeling sick to my stomach over my confrontation with Amanda, but holding down any excess bile with my sheer resolve, and b

Thanks for another great review, Jaro! I'm glad you're caught up! It is a tough story to read all in one sitting, with all of the emotions and stuff, but now that you're caught up, you can read it every episode as I release it. As always, very insightful comments. I'm glad you're on board with Big Bad Wolf Corbin... he isnt going anywhere any time soon. Until next time

Jaro, thank you so much for your comment! Your compliments mean a great deal, and I'm glad that I'm able to draw you in to a world that you aren't familiar with. I'm also SO glad that you connect with Corbin despite his flaws. This journey is a tough one to write, and I'm just glad that you're enjoying it. I hope that you will continue to share your thoughts and comments as you read further on. Thanks again!

Hey! Great parallel to those two. What's funny is that in all of this, Pete still hasn't confirmed everyone's suspicions. He'd be crazy to think people aren't talking, but as far as we know, at least for sure, he's not gay... Thanks for the review!
-
How can we get Carrie to tell us the story?? I love that folks are warming up on mike. I wouldn't feel bad for him just yet, as he isn't aware of the game Corbin is even playing, but if he were to find out... Okay, maybe feel for him then. I read Amanda's line about Corbin as sort of a parallel to Pete's line about Dakota. Sure he made friends in Texas, but Dakota was the one he could fully trust... Ride or die. We'll see what Amanda's meddling ends up doing to these two boys. Until then!

Charlie! Thanks for the review. I might have to look up this lyrics. This is definitely a tough part of the story to tell, but it's a thrill to write! More to come!

Thanks for the review, fox. Always a pleasure. I love writing this story so the demands don't bother me at all! More to come.
