Thanks for the review mr coastguard. There's always some risk in starting a work in progress, but I'm glad you did. Seeing as to this story is based on actual events, I know exactly where it's all headed. Putting paper to pen takes some time, but I don't anticipate any more super long breaks. Thanks for reading! Andydandy, thanks for the review! I'll try my best not to keep you waiting any more I'm sure you're not the only one concerned for the little girl, and you shouldn't be. That's one of the reasons I love writing first person (and CANT right third person) is because we get to sympathize and get to know the main character... I'm sure Melanie's story would describe Corbin a LOT differently... more to come!

Thanks for the review! It's easy to draw the shades of gray because Corbin is so closely based on myself in college. He can be right and he can be wrong, but he'll always defend himself and his actions. Wait until you see him really up against the wall. More to come
