Thanks for another great review, Jaro! I'm glad you're caught up! It is a tough story to read all in one sitting, with all of the emotions and stuff, but now that you're caught up, you can read it every episode as I release it. As always, very insightful comments. Hey! Great parallel to those two. What's funny is that in all of this, Pete still hasn't confirmed everyone's suspicions. He'd be crazy to think people aren't talking, but as far as we know, at least for sure, he's not gay... Thanks for the review!

How can we get Carrie to tell us the story?? I love that folks are warming up on mike. I wouldn't feel bad for him just yet, as he isn't aware of the game Corbin is even playing, but if he were to find out... Okay, maybe feel for him then. I read Amanda's line about Corbin as sort of a parallel to Pete's line about Dakota. Sure he made friends in Texas, but Dakota was the one he could fully trust... Ride or die. We'll see what Amanda's meddling ends up doing to these two boys. Until then!

Speaking of car music, I know for some of the other stories I've done, folks have posted music recs to go with each chapter. Anyone have an interest in starting that up again for The English Year? I know it's probably a lot of work, and honestly, I wouldn't even know where to begin, but they're a lot of fun to read along to.

Hey Andy. I loved so much about this review! You're right, Corbin doesn't have infinite ammo for his wrath, but look for him to find ways around that... Also, Pete's not his only battle, and we know by now he's good at misdirecting his feelings. Also, I'm enjoying writing this side of Pete. Sometimes I wish I could write more from his perspective, but as I write his reactions, iget to imagine educate day what his perspectives are... Expect some great back and firths from them I'm hoping.

Sorry for the roller coaster in this chapter... But glad you enjoyed! I think the implication that Amanda couldn't get the Brit on her own is wha makes it below the belt... And that it's not such a wild prediction too... But we'll see what happens. More soon

You're right to expect trouble. Don't forget from a couple chapters ago, though, Amanda is about the only one on campus that knows how to handle Corbin. I'm hoping their next scenes are surprising and dynamic.

Hey folks! I hope the wait was worth it! The next chapter is up and ready. Do to some life changes going on in July, I'll be going into an every two week posting schedule. I've got some of the next few chapters first-drafted, but I want to avoid going into a long hiatus like last time. Giving myself an extra week between chapters will help me deliver quality work at a consistent pace. Once the dust settles, I'll try to get back into a weekly posting schedule. Lisa, Lisa,Lisa! Thanks for another awesome review. I think you, Louis and Timothy are spot on about a couple things. I think corbs intrinsically knows why Pete is mad, but he doesn't feel Pete has the right to be mad. Watch this lay out in their next confrontation. Also, Corbin isn't used to losing, so he takes on Pete's rejection as he would anyone else's... Sort of as a threat. I'm glad mike is winning people over. I can't wait for you to weigh in on what's coming!
