Who me? A cliffhanger? Thanks. Just waiting on my beta and editor for Red to go up.

Things are work are getting pathetic but even I don't have the energy to talk about that. Been on a writing kick lately. Been doing a lot of the prompts. Granted I create them now, but I have been doing the ones no one has attempted. I am not sure if it is because people feel they are no good or because they just didn't know how to approach them. Luckily there are some brave souls who will give my wild ideas a whirl so very grateful to Cia, Dolores, and Nephy. I got the latest chapter of Accidents Happen up as well. Nearly done now and it is hard to see Charlie's tale coming to an end. I'm hoping my editor and beta finish my new story, Red shortly. It is a four part tale that I hope to start posting by Wednesday. This is a bit different. It started out as a retelling of a fairy tale but got hijacked along the way. Now it is more of a post apocalyptic tale that deals with humanity no longer being in charge. In fact they are barely surviving but have to deal with a lottery type situation with their children. To add to the mix I toss in Vampires, Werewolves, and Elves. And just to show I am not afraid i toss in some sex for good measure. I wonder what that will do to the readers who have only read my Accidents Happen story. lol. Oh well. I hope everyone is having a good day. I'm off to bed. Enjoy all.

Reading as quick as I can but going to call it a night after four KC. You have a nasty little tale going here. Poor Maggie. She seems to be in the middle of it all. For Shadow's sake I hope she isn't involved. Three hot men in a cabin the woods. You really like to have interesting places for your characters to .... um ... play. Yeah, I'll go with play.

Geez, who isn't getting some? The Queen seems to be a sexual being, her lovers are going to be playing with each other now, and then you have the three new playmates of Vamprie, Werewolf, and oh yeah Shadow Chaser. Liars, Killers, and who knows what else. I guess everyone knows how dangerous your Shadow is, especially now that his most dangerous weapon has been exposed.

Hot little scene there. More questions now then before. Guess I have to wait till I read three to know why Keiper didn't rat out our Shadow. Onwards and forwards KC.

So an acrobatic vampire, a horny shadow chaser, and of course the mysterious Queen. Then you toss in a second vampire just to make it interesting. Just where are you planning on taking us mister? Enjoying it so far. Odd little world you are creating here.

So the poor sweet lamb that is Jordan just keeps doing things innocently wrong. If I believed that for half a moment someone should take me out back and use a baseball bat on me. Peter was the unlucky one to be there but of the group only Jordan knew who Pete was and that he was definitely gay. I am so looking forward to the rebuttal and innocent little Jordan being stripped bare and shown for the animal he truly is.

I never said that Andrew was an evil ex. I did let you know that Cameron knew him. You just had to wait to see.

I have worked hard at trying to keep this real while keeping enough going on to keep you the reader engaged. This hopefully won't leave you disappointed.

Thank you KC. I needed to make it clear that Scott has lived his life. He isn't brand new to this like Charlie is. Charlie is still dealing with things but everything will be pretty much done when the story finishes. Glad you like it.

I have no idea what green Fairy soap is? As for me I found this really great Green Tea shampoo and conditioner. It smells wonderful and strips away the dandruff too.

Imagine where your character leads a pretty decent single life. Then there is a phone call and that life is turned upside down as they find out they have just become a parent, to a teenager. Is this a cousin that has been left with no other family members? A god child? A niece or nephew? What is this first meeting between them going to be like? Nephy it really is a good movie. Will be interesting to see how they tie this into the other characters who will be in the Avengers movie. Tob, I love all those twists and turns of the language. Guess it was the reason behind me becoming an English major. The roots of civilization, whether it is Egyptian or Greek/Roman always drew my attention. Then I branched out to Norse mythology and the myths from England, Scotland, and Ireland are incredible reads as well.

Well it has taken me some time to sit down and finally watch the movie Thor. It was pretty decent. I guess between the director and the actors they finally got it fairly right.Of course being a comic book geek I do have one or two things to nit pick but the only major one was killing off Loki. Hard to do when he is such an important part of Ragnarok. The title for this blog is actually very correct. Thursday is actually Thor's Day. One of those little twists in history. With so many months and all named after the Greeks the Norse Gods did slip in now and then. Especially when the Greeks adopted and molded the Norse Gods to fit their own. Jupiter/Zeus often was identified with Thor. Okay, enough of the history lesson. Lord the things one learns over the years. Anyway my next one to watch is the new Tron movie. Maria, Granted Accidents Happen has been fun but Charlie does not want to go even though his story is nearly told. Little bum.

I am on Weight Watchers so they ask us to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. I never use salt. Pepper, garlic, and many others are used when I cook. Both parents had high blood pressure so salt wasn't something I could use.

Weddings are always interesting to say the least. Liaxiaolang I do hate to tell you this, being gay doesn't exclude you from marriage. I've been to a number of gay marriages as well. They can be wonderful or just as interesting.

Amazing the friendships you can create here. Yes day by day if you wish to you can make friends and deep that friendship. I know I have been doing that with people I met here. Anyway, was busy as hell today. The whole morning was spent running around like a nut. I started this morning off going to my Weight Watcher's meeting. Wish I could say it was a huge loss but I did lose 2 pounds. I know I shouldn't complain but just wish it would melt off already. Well didn't put it on in a day so not going to drop off in one either. At least I am watching the scale go in the right direction. After that it was off to get a quick hair cut. When you look like you have a fro or like a dust mop has moved onto your head you know you are over due to get one. Then I had to do some shopping for things for friends and myself. This might sound odd but you know you are really losing weight when you need to go buy underwear. When yours won't stay on any longer it is time to buy new ones in a size smaller. Sigh. Then went to do food shopping. Needed to pick up some fruits, vegetables, and yogurt. For me those are staples in the house and in my daily routine now. Learning to once again cook and use spices instead of breading, broil and bake to keep things juicy, and just stay aware of what you are eating. My biggest problem hasn't been that I eat too much or junk food. My biggest problem is I skip meals and don't enough so the doctor yells at me that I put my body into starvation mode and eating lettuce will make me gain weight. The things you learn as you try to lose weight. Who knew you had to eat so much to get your weight down? I got out some cards I wanted to mail that for me were late Halloween cards. The rest of mine were mailed early with the problems they are expecting to have in the post office. The internet is wonderful for so many things but it is killing the post office because other than bills no one is really sending cards or mail anymore. Joy. Anyway my biggest issue is my character doesn't want to cooperate as his story unwinds. Right now I'm so frustrated want to put him in front of a bus and let it end with an accident but I won't. I know I am not the only writer to have problems getting a character to behave. Oh well. Have a good night all.

Okay so it was another interesting night at work. It is getting so the drama there at work could infuse life into any old soap opera. Feels like you need a score card to keep track of who is dating who, who isn’t friends with who, who is has an in with the junior mangers so may not have to work and can disappear to talk or go on cigarette breaks whenever they like. I long for the store I use to work in where rules mattered and policies were followed. In the mean time I can happily announce I have finally finished Red. It is in the hands of my editor and my new beta. So we can see just what happens to this one. This little story will be a four parter. I’ll admit I have a problem. I read too many fairy tales and myths as a child so if something is open for that you can bet I will take a shot at it. Red, I will admit, came about because fellow GAer, Elezbed, suggested I take a crack at Little Red Riding Hood. Okay so I have a cape, a woodcutter, a grandmother, a wolf, and Red from the original. If you have read any of my retellings of the fairy tales you know I am going to turn that on its ear and I do. Oh well. I just hope it will be well received when it is posted. I have less than five chapters of Accidents Happen left. It is sad to see Charlie’s story coming to an end. He was a really sweet character and has been opening so many doors for me here at GA. His little story has sort of gotten me noticed. I will be sorry to see him go. My next major project is one that Andy commented on and suggested I detail. So my Summer Anthology piece is going to be expanded and reworked. Jonas is my next character to breathe full life into and see what that brings. Finally I am enjoying the cooler temps at night. It is so much more comfortable and I also want to do more when you can just be comfortable. I was never much of a summer person. I have always adored the spring or fall. Those are the two seasons of vibrant color. In the spring flowers are blooming, the grass turning green, and the birds are filling the air with color and song. Fall brings the sweet fruits and vegetables of the season, the falling leaves in bright reds, oranges, yellows, and browns. Then both seasons are cool enough for a light jacket but you neither are constantly freezing or sweating your butt off. So that is about all I have to say. Tomorrow I am up early on my day off for my Weight Watchers meeting. Then I have just a bit of shopping to do. I have a feeling I might have to run out to Riverhead to get what I want for an upcoming birthday. Other than that I can’t say I have much to complain about. Hope everyone is having a good one.

Yeah, things are just going on at work. I love having degrees and not being able to work in that field. Nothing like having gone and spent all that money and then be told you can't work in it. Mean time for those wondering, I spent ten years as a restaurant manager right out of high school with no degree. Taught for four years till the private school I was in went under, and then retail. All I can say is, 'shoot me now!' It would be much kinder.

Life? Hmm. Isn't that what happens when you aren't looking?
