I write for myself. Sometimes it is simply because I can't find the type of stories I want to read. Sometimes because I just have these wild ideas in my head that if I don't get down will drive me up the wall. I have had pieces I've written published before. However, I am never going to get rich off it. I don't see people flocking to my writing like they do Neil Giamen or JK Rowlings. I'm just happy that there seem to be a few people on this site who enjoy what my demented little mind can cook up.

Chapter 3 - Setting the Ground Work

Poor humanity just isn't at the top of the ladder anymore. Nock was lucky being claimed by Lone. Time will tell exactly what happens. Glad you are enjoying it and like Lone. -
Chapter 2 - Following the Path

I'm glad you are enjoying it Mark. This one marks the halfway point. Hopefully you will enjoy the way I warp this tale to my own ends. -
Happy Birthday Ele. Here is to a wonderful day and better year!

Lone moved quickly ahead of Nock. He had already marked the boy’s cape so no one else will be able to touch him now. The boy was marked as belonging to a Were. That just meant Lone had to come up with a plan for how he was going to take Nock. “Damn, I am getting soft in my old age,” Lone muttered as he removed his sandals. He slowly stripped out of his clothing and stood naked in the woods for a moment. He placed his clothing in a bag that he had hidden in the woods earlier in c

I liked the whole thing Renee. Great story here. Would have liked to know at the end if the guys trying to kill Trace were from that case he was worried about. Hope you decide to pick this up and give us a second chapter to let us know what happened to these two characters. You breathed a great deal of life into them and would like to see a bit more of them.

Valentine is a bitch. No wonder they were all so willing to name him so. Glory seems to have stepped in it this time. Wonder what Sar will say when he finally returns home.

So the tender little cat is more of a mix than he thought. Your title is a misnomer. Your cat is more of a mutt. Can't wait to see what happens next and I do hope Pixie is punished appropriately. Poor Rover has guard duty but I don't think his chew toy is going to stay his.

Well that was .... different. Glory has an interesting way with sex doesn't he. lol. Wonder what else you have up your sleeve, Nephy.
-
So Glory is surrounded by other misfits. No clues given to him about who his mysterious benefactor is either. Hmm. Lots of set up here, Nephy. Can't wait to see what you plan to do with it all. Oh, and I do love Rover.
-
As usual Nephy, you are off to one hell of a start. I have come across stories of Damphir's before. Yours has its own unique twist to it. Can't wait to sink my teeth into the rest of the chapters. Yippee. I don't even have to wait.

The sweet smell of cinnamon raisin cookies fill the house And suddenly I am five years old again Looking up at an old tin apple cookie jar in Grandma’s house Remembering her call out, “No more right now, Wayne.” The kindness found there stays with me decades later now As I remember games of Trouble, Old Maid, and coloring books Things of no consequence but mean more than should be allowed Time spent talking, laughing, and learning while she cooks This where my summers were spent ea

Chapter 2 - Following the Path
comicfan commented on comicfan's story chapter in Chapter 2 - Following the Path
Oh just think though, KC. The parents can't tell the kids any of that. They have to go into the woods innocent of it all. Sort of makes it hard to teach them with no scary monster under the bed. -
That was just hysterical Dad. I remember seeing that cartoon of Betty but combining it with the song was just too funny. Thanks. I needed that. Hope you like the rest of the tale.
-
Thank You, Nephy. I just figured why bother to have her rescued when she can do it herself. However, after living so long in the tower she would need to do something. I figured the circus would allow her to travel and she sure isn't afraid of heights.
-
Thanks KC. It was a lot of fun. I just like walking around looking at all the stuff. I was pretty good too and didn't over do it on the fair food either. Besides got plenty of exercise and it was a really spectacular day.

This has been on my ipod for week now.

Okay Jamiie because you asked. Physical: I like guys shorter than I am. (I'm six foot). I've dated heavy, thin, hairy, smooth so none of that is important to me. Personality: Has to have a sense of humor. If you can't laugh when it isn't important what will you do when it is? Intelligent but not opinionated. I enjoy talking about everything. I love to hear what you think but don't force your point of view on me. A sense of romance. I'm not asking for candle light dinners and roses. A simple note saying "I love you" in the lunch box now and then or hug for no reason at all keeps it alive. Honest. I don't mean you have to tell me that my pants make me look thin or fat. I mean if there are problems you are honest enough to sit down and talk about them. Life Style Monogamous. That should go without having to be said but in today's world I take no chances. Willing to share a life that will be good and bad. No life will be perfect but take the time to live it with me. I won't run at the first problem and I pray he won't either.

I don't know if it would be classified as hiding anything. I think people naturally act different depending on where they are or who they are with. I can be fairly quiet and reserved but get me out with my friends and I'm the life of the party. In most aspects I'm just me. I don't think I intentionally act different. I think it is just normal. At work i don't have the opportunity or the desire to listen to everyone's private life. General ''hello, how are you, how is the family, is sort of the conversation held. No one wants to get too close because there is a high turn over. Besides in my department you usually work by yourself so you only rarely see your coworkers except when in the break room and rarely the same ones twice during the week. I have never hidden the fact I am gay. If asked I have no problem telling anyone. However I also don't go around waving a rainbow flag demanding I get different treatment either. Either accept me as I am or just get out of my way.

Wishing you all sorts of magical happenings for your Birthday Rustle. May all your wishes come true!

Mark just like the gate this soon shall be a part of your past. Believe in yourself, your future, and the ones who care about and love you. They will help you leave that behind, and while you may carry the scars, she is no longer there to hurt you.

Well it was only about a half hour from me. Keep an eye on my page. I try announce what is coming up on the island that is available and cheap. With college loans still being paid back I do things on a budget. lol

Thank Carrington. The cap was a gift from Mark.

Today was finally the Riverhead County Fair. I managed to get out to it and had a nice time. There were quilts, cakes, cookies, and other goodies that were entered into contests that I walked around and looked at. There were also fields of funnel cakes, apple fritters, sausages, kielbasa, hot dogs, hamburgers, cheese steak sandwiches, clams, fish, french fries, kettle corn, and so much other food you could explode from just smelling it. There were booths selling yard decorations, hair ribbons, candles, cookware, shirts, blankets, sheets, scarves, and you name it. It is just one massive shopping explosion all around you. At one end of the fair there were carnival rides, more food, face painting, create your own color sand bottle, and so many other things. Also being in Riverhead, which is the official home of Polish town, there was fresh babka, polish sausage, and other goodies also for sale. In plain English, for a dieter it was a nightmare but who wouldn't risk it all to be a part of it. I loved walking around seeing the singers at different grandstands, Polish Dancers, Scottish Dancers, the stilt walkers, and the crowds of people. It is fun just to become anonymous and wander amongst the crowds seeing what is there and what everyone is finding. Today was also perfect weather. I mean here it is in October with 80 degree temperatures, the sun shining, and all sorts of fun going on. To put it simply I had a blast. I'm including some of the pictures from around and in the fair. Forgive me for not taking more but I was too busy enjoying myself. And for those of you who keep thinking New York is only New York City this might finally help convince you otherwise.
