So we are up to day 19. I'm not sure how many people have ever heard of this song. I found it right after my mom passed. Sort of sad but in a good way.
And speaking of my mom, well one of her favorite singers was Anne Murray. Here is a 3 for one package. The Bare Naked Ladies sing God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, then Anne joins them for Santa is Coming to Town and I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.

Thank you KC. I wanted to have something a little different. Seems everyone was pretty much happy with it, which is a relief. Mickey needed the chance to let go of his past and accept what was coming. So he has a second chance and hopefully he won't screw it up.
I'd been waiting for the change since the bit happened. Big and golden wolf. Sounds like this relationship is in for some interesting times ahead. Great story, Cassie. Can't wait to read more of your stuff.
When I was writing it, I just sort of seen Tad as this man who knows what he wants and well he just wants to share it with Mickey, now. Forget the tree, the holiday, all of it. I hope it didn't bother you too much Dad.
Just remember that the Majana Bud is used on a bride. Seeon isn't one exactly, so he wasn't sure where the bud would end up and knew he would have to take steps to make sure he would make it through till he would be alone with his husband.
Mickey has a problem. He can't let go of his past so he can enjoy his present. The problem is it forces his boyfriend, Tad, out of his life. Mickey realizes his mistake a bit too late. What will this mean to his future as he tries to change his life? For Mickey things have been rough but there was always Tad.
Well their first night together is something you will have in your hands next Saturday. As for how short the chapter is, well, originally Seeon was written as one long story. I had to have help breaking it down to manageable chapters. This is the shortest but to break it anywhere in the next section would have caused a problem. Thanks for the read and comment, Mark.
Time will tell. We are close to the end of book one. Means so many are enjoying I am already rushing to get Book 2 done. Glad you like Seeon Rebelghost85.
Chapter 7 – A Reception to Remember
They were led down a long hall to the banquet hall and up to the main table which was on another raised dais. The two barely had sat down when everyone erupted into the room after them. The tables quickly swelled with hundreds of people. Seeon was nervous to be surrounded by so many. Most of his life had been spent by himself or at most with two or three people in a room with him. Now he was surrounded by hundreds of people.

Grandma Ruth
We all have those fuzzy images of our early childhood. For me, some of the earliest revolve around the birth of my brother, Jimmy. He was born in July of 1973. On the day of his birth I would also have perhaps some of the earliest images of my Grandma Ruth.
Mom tottered into the room before dawn to kiss me and in doing so woke me up. I slid out of bed and watched as my father bundled her into the car and drove off while my next door neighbor, and soon to
Dark future you have here. At least humanity has learned to look at the whole and not just "me". Acceptance is more of the norm there. The worlds you have created are rich and detailed. I was captivated by the many obstacles and how everyone found ways to keep doing the impossible. Interesting story of building a life again from the ashes.
Cia,
You always seem to find that ring of truth in your tales. I loved how neither saw themselves as the rest of the world did, yet both had some prejudices they had to overcome. Everything was well handled. A beautiful read from beginning to end.
Dolores, your work is always so different. Your views on life and history so rich and vibrant. It was painful to read the loss he suffers. Truly a wonderful piece. I'm so glad you put this forth.
Well James seems to have no redeeming qualities at all. He has broken Adam, used Sam, taken Jenny. He has this strange council of like minded people he has to appease yet and then there is Lady Caroline Hunt. Interesting crop of people there, Mark. I still wonder what you plan to do with them all.
