I find writing anything helps. Sometimes I find myself with new ideas that don't fit into the present story I am writing so I take notes. Sometimes I write poems. I find as long as my muse is happy and letting the ideas come I write. Sometimes it is just taking the time, letting something nice play as background music, I write until the pen runs dry and then I type it all up. As long as you write and are having fun doing it then I say keep going.

It is there. Honest and truly it is. Busy with the writing of Chapter 6 now. To whet your appetite it is called The Song showed the End. Make of that what you can.

Okay I stated this in my review - I like Ray, I honestly do however - prepares to be razzed by the growing lynch mob against the character - I still want Jared straightened out. I can't believe after learning what we did about him that he can be so totally insensitive. I would like to see Conner date Ray, have fun, grow, and be happy. However I just don't think we know everything yet about what is happening with Jared. I'm glad to see Rebecca at his side and see Conner come out to his friends. Steps to make his life better make me happy. Just don't let the "I hate Jared" mob get me. lol.

Sort of a background chapter but important for Charlie to realize he needs to settle things. He might not have come to any conscious decisions but he has allowed his subconscious mind to mull things over. Thanks for the comment and enjoy.

Wow. At first I just couldn't figure out what Rosaly's secret was. All I kept seeing was how this little girl kept getting hurt over and over again. I was so glad when the Dr. stepped in and her life improved. I felt like a bloody idiot not catching the tell tale signs as I read the story over. When Ross became himself I was so happy. I was so intrigued by his take of the art. I really am curious now about Nash but it sounds as if Ross finally has his missing piece and is going to be content and happy. Beautiful story, carefully explained and lovingly constructed. A pleasure to read and even better to understand those who have so much to go through to become who they really are.My only problem is Nash came up and it ended. Seems that would have been something truly special to expose us too. Hopefully you will do so at a later date.

I love a well crafted piece of work. The story flowed beautifully. We got to see real pain, someone afraid of the future, and one man who wouldn't let his happiness come at the cost of his son. True friends, a new partner, and a wife and daughter lovingly remembered. Who could ask for anything more. Nice job all the way around. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, Mr Reeds owns a book store. There is more to come about him as the story develops. As for Charlie's pondering of his various problems that is part of the next chapter's story. Well on its way and hopefully up either tonight or tomorrow. Glad everyone is enjoying it so far.

I enjoyed the story. I liked how neither was willing to say anything about what had gone on in the past. The whipping, the servant, the cuffs. hope to see more and how this develops overall.

Thanks for the replies people. Both my character and myself are the sort that need to do something. We internalize a bit but the more upset you become the more you do. In this case my character cooks or more precisely bakes. Doing it helps give him time to work things out and be away from people while it happens. Just needed to make sure it made sense and after reading it fits as a coping mechanism. Thanks for the help.
