Oooh. Teacher and student. Very naughty. Well Adi, for once I get to say this to another writer ... and I'm going to paraphrase. ... Please, sir, can I have more? Naturally, I mean of this story. Lol. Interesting start, but, damn I want more.

Well sometimes we can help smooth the edges a bit. Glad you liked it. Not sure about a return.

I'm glad you enjoyed. Just wanted to show sometimes it is just finding the right person and your life takes a new beautiful direction.

Thanks Gary. I taught at a private school and what you can do depends both on class size and the administration. It was easier to help in a class of seventeen during my last year compared to class sizes of twenty nine and thirty three my first. Really understood why a union can be so important. It makes it possible to reach your students in more than one way.

That is the thrill and the downfall of the short story. It sets out to give you a tale without all the details or information filled in. Thanks for the review.

Two souls bound together since childhood. At first with the bruising and all I thought Ger might be a twin. Then when he lost his leg I thought Faris was being abused. When the truth is learned all you can do is be happy the two found each other. From the deeply happy dreams to loving each other in the waking world it shows a beautiful vision of love. Nicely told tale.

Love is never what we expect, and unrequited love is a terrible thing. Love knows no boundaries and it really makes this story so relatable. Great story, but now I'm curious as to the songs being referenced.

The power of three seems to be very scary regardless of the species. Powerful tale. Felt bad for the professor, who was only doing his job, like Carter finding Tut''s tomb. Very well done, Aditus.

Cyril was used to being alone, building his walls, and keeping everyone from learning the truth. Typical actions for a victim hiding and defending their abuser. Stuart was incredibly gentle as he offered Cyril a way out without degrading him.

I never wanted it to become a tale of lovers, that would have had Darin taking advantage of Chris. I wanted Darin to become a mentor who could show Chris he didn't have to be like his father, or the passive aggressive brat he was in the beginning. Thanks for the review, Tim.

Thanks for the review, Gandalf. I try to answer the broad questions, but leave the finer details to be answered by the reader.

Droughtquake, I think most of us missed being born into a very wealthy family. However, some of us were lucky enough to have teachers that went that extra mile, and it opened up a world of difference. Thanks for the review.

Never sure when or if I'll come back to this. Glad it made an impact though, Ray.

Thanks for the comment. Never sure how people will react but your comment summed it up nicely, Puppilull.

Darin and Chris had to find a way to work together. It is a case of working through the issues and finding a middle ground. Thanks for the comment Daddy.

Not sure. We all have those teachers who made such an impact, good or bad on us. Sometimes you come back to them as an adult, and sometimes you just keep the memory. Thanks for the review, Efmaer.

Can't A Guy Visit A Friend?
comicfan commented on thecalimack's story chapter in Can't A Guy Visit A Friend?
You never know what an act of kindness can mean to someone. Miguel's simple act of checking on his friend, Tristan, prevented what could have been a horrible tragedy. Tristan has a hard road ahead, but at least he knows someone cares. Beautiful tale, thecalimack. -
Thanks Dad. Having been a teacher some of this was easy to draw upon. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment.

Thank you Okiegrad. I think it turned out fairly well.

A new teacher, Mister Darin Stanford, is assigned a special project by the headmistress of a private school. His project is Christopher Bird, a rich child who has had his life dictated by his father. The teacher and student need to find some way to trust each other and make this situation work. Neither is prepared for what they will encounter. This story is written for the Jagged Edges / Unintended Consequences 2017 Anthology

Darin was not sure what he was facing. He had been teaching at the private school for just the last three months and so far he had no major problems, either with his lessons or his students. So the note that had been left in his mailbox Thursday morning came as something of a surprise and brought him to the headmistress’s office on his prep period. “Ah, Mr. Stanford, good to see you again,” greeted Mrs. Wallstone, the school secretary. “Miss Hernandez will be with you shortly.” She waved

Never know. Just planned on giving them the chance to talk but might come back again. Thanks for the comment Puppilull.
