LOL They still have summer school, though it isn't a part of the course I've chosen. I've always loved art, writing and poetry. I am already so into the free courses. Because of my circumstances they can allow for me to do my assignments online and have a home visit for the examinations. Progress eh? The OU is very good academically as its next after Reading and that is very good. It's also where Stuby is at Good to see you here Xtro and everyone gets a hug Hugs all round

Thank you Shelly May I ask what you do day to day? Just curious My first psychologist was a first class prick (excuse language) My second was just recently, he couldn't have made it easier for me. He made an out of hours visit with my doctor. And didn't sit asking me questions. It was more observation. I baked most of the day after showing them around the farm. I made tea and cakes and cooked them a dinner. It was relaxing and friendly with no pressure to speak about me at all. It was also on a Sunday, so they both gave their time up for me. I'm looking forward to next visit. Hope you feel better soon Shelly, and if you need an ear please email me. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving too

Hey folks Well it's term time again for Stuby, and I have to find something to focus on. So to that end, and still on the track to better myself, hold on wait for it. I've signed up to the Open University to do full time study. The three courses combine to give me a BA (honours) degree in 3-4 years time. I'm doing Art and Humanities, which has a creative writing path. Because it's the Open University I get to study at home, and have online tutoring, I can even take the exams that way, because of my circumstances. So a new life change to focus my thoughts on. Onwards and upwards! Hope everyone else is doing okay?? Hugs all round

I put this here, instead of my blog for everyone to read. A Selfless Man. I have wanted to write this for a long time, yet I didn’t think I could do this man justice. Now, well, I feel that it needs to be said. So ladies and gentlemen raise your glasses and give a round of applause, for the most incredible man we all know as Comicfan, Wayne or just ‘Unc’ to me. Every single day (internet allowing) he greets us with ‘hello’ and ‘have a good day’. Despite the long hours of work his work day , looking after his dad, followed by his endless hours doing beta and editing work , on top of that doing so much more for GA. Then again, on top of all this he still has time to spend his time and money sending out cards and gifts to his friends. Always reaching out, always giving his all, selflessly. He is extra special to me, we share a similar past, a past filled with pain and abuse, but he taught me to rise above it, and I am getting better day after day. Personally, he has had so much bad luck. Firstly, his dad becoming ill, and he’s had to take care of his father. A lot of it from people he wanted to be with. Someone to be that special person in his life, spend some time with, only to be verbally abused or ignored. Then after all this, there is his work, putting in long hours with constant shift changes. His car has given him a lot of trouble too. But what hurts him the most is not being able to keep in contact with his friends, here on GA and on FB. He spends his money on essentials, but he spends his extra cash on cards, gifts and postage. He even goes as far as to include my friend, Kate in the loop to thank her for bringing the packages he mails out to me. So you see? Unc gives his all, to reach out to us and give of himself and his time freely. AND Unc, one last thing to add, with Stuby by my side, I will still snog your face off!

Hey all Good to see you all reaching out for each other, we all need it. I'm finally figuring out what Christmas means to parents. A whole lot of stress about what to get who? I've got Stuby's mum and dad and sister, so far I have Stuby one thing and I'm stuck. I've got Lil Q, and Frosty,Nephy,Marzipan,Lily and Elezbed and Bleu. Thats just off the top of my head. Don't tell Unc, but I dont have a clue what to get him, I've done comics and Yorkshire and recipes LOL. I would love it if you all gave me your addresses so I could send you something. Even if its only a card. Thanks for yours Jo . I dont give out addresses to anyone else without prior permission, and I dont send out unnecassary post either. It's birthdays if I know them or a Christmas card or gift. I hope everyone is doing good. Me and Stuby are good too. Hugs All
