Well.........What can I say? Where do I start/ I finally hate Amanda, is that a start? Who is the gun for? And poor Tanner didn't deserve any of this. That was an interesting read. And while you cover certain places in the United Kingdom, Yorkshire has four dialects of its own. There is South Yorkshire, where you are, there is also West Yorkshire, theirs is a slangy drawl. Places like Barnsley and Wakefield are West Yorkshire. Then you have the East Riding of Yorkshire. This used to be East Yorkshire until the locals voted for the change. And then you have North Yorkshire where I come from, totally different from the others, as they are different from each other. Here an exclamation of suprise could be, "eeee by 'eckers like," or "I'll go t'foot of our stairs," We use the letter T as 'the'. We dont really use the words cock or cocker. It's usually some derogatory word said fondly like "Ya great wassack," Or as i'm known fondly as "Ya great lummax." That. or the opposite terms of shorty or shrimp. If you need further info on true North Yorkshire lingo. Watch 'All creatures great and small'. West Yorkshire try a film called 'Kes'. Then you will see the difference in those two. Hope this helps. I find it all fascinating too.

I can only go on my own experience,.When I first joined GA I was a complete doof on the PC and multitasking was something everyone else did. I couldn't for love nor money. Different reasons to you, but still as annoying. Making friends was a lot easier for me, I was on such a huge learning curve, everyone wanted to help and I accepted. People here do care, you just have to be prepared to listen to their woe's, and happy times, as you want them to listen to yours. Be yourself and try to stay upbeat. Not always the easiest thing. Wearing a mask is a big thing here, for quite a few people. Vent here in this thread or in the soap box if there is something more controversial, and keep your happy faces for those that need them. Being happy draws people to you, then when you have made closer friends you can vent to them, and they wont mind. This may not be of any use to you. Sorry for that and hugs anyway

Interesting and intriguing. This is very well written, I dont know why I am suprised by that. When you assumed I'd read it, I had actually got half way through and had to leave it for another time. I do like how it's going and looking forward to more. Well done Mikey

Well said Unc, I am the same Cassie people think i'm this huge guy, and yeah i'm tall with huge shoulders but my waist is skinny. I dont eat enough. But I'm not hungry. I dont have an appetite, and I should. I just got my doc out today so I will know why, hopefully next week after some blood tests on Monday. Hope things turn out good for you. And you're doing the best thing. And agree with Unc this is what this thread is for, so whine away. all round

Hey guys I have to say I dont have much to vent about right now. Reading through all you have added here. I'm saddened that there is so much sadness and pain, but relieved that you can, and do still come here to air it. I've never made claims I know how to heal, I've never judged either. I can listen to someones tale, and then listen to the other side of things and their point of view. Kate always told me there is two sides to every relationship story. So I listen to both sides. Only then do I have an opinion, but I dont always tell it. Most of you live in and around the rat race. I dont have any instances of that for experience. I'm neutral. And I want to keep it that way. Things are good on the farm, me and Stuby are good. Life is pretty damn good right now and i'm loving it. I'm not hiding from my problems anymore, I vent them and work on them. I still have miles to go, but now i'm enjoying getting there. Hugs to all

Knowing both parties, and talking to both parties. There is a lot here left unsaid. There are two sides in a relationship, and I will never take sides. One must accept that the other is hurting too, for different reasons. But still hurting all the same. My sympathies to both equally.

One of my favourite oldies. Ingrid Bergman is so excellent in this. Very fond memories of watching it over and over as a kid. Sat with old farmer Sam and his missus. I know i'm only 19 but I love old films they are the only kind I got as a kid, my hero used to be James Cagney lol.
