I found the ending rather abrupt - but you gotta stop the chapter at some point

I'm still not fully recovered from my trip north this week. I dropped out of my normal Saturday night card game early and came home - feeling tired but not really sleepy. And if you can believe, my body clock still hasn't adjusted as I wake up at 6 - even on the weekends!

Truth! With the monolithic topic for FTL, the silliness was all intertwined. Now that CJ has a forum, the chapter topics stand alone and the silliness is spread over their own topics - mostly.

Something to keep in mind about FTL: it is monolithic because CJ didn't have his own forum yet so all chapter posts and discussion where posted into that one topic. Now that he has his own forum, he can spread them out over individual topics.

I guess his editors missed that It's been fixed. Sorry Joe, thanks for getting it fixed. the chapter I edited had the correct title. We don't see it after its created as HTML for posting until it goes online. As CJ always points out, any errors in the finished product are his own.

I missed a few days last week so I'll try and fill in for you Graeme post-count-wise. Content would be another matter

OK, seeing as this thread is dedicated to CJ's awayness, this is probably the best place to post this - On 11/2 @ 6:03am, my mailbox received this message from CJ: Looking back over the topic posts, if CJ had logged on to GA and posted, it would've been #168. The fact that he chose not to and asked a surrogate (me) to post, shouldn't count against the game, so the show goes on. In all likelihood, he may be offline for 2 more weeks before he gets to Venice. Let's get those fingers posting and see just how many posts we can make here before he comes back online.

When I responded to DK after reading chapter 21 the first time, here was what I sent him: I don't know where you are going with the Dwarf thing but it was a shock to my story sensibility and stuck out like a sore thumb to me because everything had been based in modern times and today's reality until that. Okay, now that I'm reading this again, I can see how funny that statement is about 'reality' when we suddenly discover in chapter 3 that Mikie's a mage. I'm glad that this didn't pan out. As always, DK's storylines are much better than what I think they are going to be. I'll just answer the questions with YES! Its like a drug! :wacko: They get you hooked and get you craving it only to say NOPE, ya gotta post if you want a peek. No, but seriously folks, that was what first got me to register and post - getting into the Sneak Peek section and reading what was up and coming. Since there aren't any paid staffers, life intrudes every so often and delays happen. And if you've enjoyed reading the commentary, what's wrong with contributing your two cents as a way of giving back to the community?
