    Chapter 1 A New Year

Hey Prince! Yes, it truly is beautiful and the natives will tell you it's God country. Fantasy may very well become reality. It could be a long time before we know for sure why Timmy reacted the way he did, sadly, maybe never, but you make very good points. You welcome to read as you feel best for you. I just glad you have chosen to give it a try. Hopefully, it won't disappoint. Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. It means a lot!
  2. Sorry Lisa, I assure you it's not my intention to commit murder However, I do want to have you want to come back to the read the next chapter As for Andy's test, no matter how they turn out, Joey and Andy can still have a long loving relationship that spans decades. Just gotta have faith Who would have believed a President winning an election by a land slide would have people break in to the opposing party's nation office? Politics makes people do stupid things. I promise to have the next chapter out sooner than the last one.
  3. Benji, you have a very good eye for what's happening and a good nose for what is to come. But I guess we'll have to wait to know for sure the why's and the future Thank you for your kind words :hugs:
  4. All small towns aren't boring Thanks Stephen for leaving a review. It really means a lot to me. I hope the story continues to be interesting and enjoyable.

    Recent Blog

I recently had a blog up that several people commented on and I found I could agree with points made by everyone, including myself. And I appreciate every comment made. However, I can also see that the anger behind the things I said and could possibly say, is not, would not be, good for the relationships between authors and editors here at GA.. Therefore, I deleted it. Not because of what anyone said, but because of what someone might say that could do harm to the community at large. I don't want to be responsible for that. No, no one from GA approached me and asked me to do this. Although if they had of, I could see their point of view, as well. The relationship between author and editor is a balance of hard work by both parties, plus the love and enjoyment of a being apart of creating a story. Authors, at least this one, has to work hard to bring a story to life. I, fortunately, have the help of an amazing author, beta reader, and friend. I don't know of anyone that doesn't count him as a friend, because he's that kind of guy- a great friend. Yet, life gets in the way at times that prevents an author the time or the ability to write, especially those of us that receives no payment for the work we produce. The only payment we are honored with is the occasional pat on the back with a review and/or "like". For those I am truly thankful. An editor works just as hard, and sometimes, if they have an author, like myself, they're working with, they have to work even harder. Not every author is at the same experience or educational level and the needs are different from author to author. An editor may also have to deal with an author that feels like the editor is their sophomore English teacher that was always onto them for rules that didn't seem important to writing a story. I've concluded that most of the fault in my situation, lay at my feet. I freely admit that in the beginning I was intimidated by and truly grateful for the skill level of my editor and didn't lay down the ground rules of what I expected, what I needed, and what my goals were. I won't make that mistake again, no matter the editor's experience or skill level. Also the lack of communication was my fault due to my health the last six months or so. It's hard to talk to someone not there. I just hope anyone that read the deleted blog forgives me for publicly crying foul and for starting down the path that could have hurt your relationship with your editor or author. Every relationship needs work for it to work. I will finish by saying I truly do appreciate the work every editor has done for me and the hard work that my beta reader does, both without pay. Have a awesome day. Billy
  6. LOL I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself
  7. Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy I sat there stunned. I had no idea how a shirt of mine could have ended up at JT's house. Wait a second, he said it had my name on it. I don't put my name on my clothes, not even my underwear. I've never had a reason to. I leaned forward to meet the detective's gaze. “How do you know it's my shirt?” “Like I said, it has your name on it.” Fleming said smugly. I guess Judy understood what I was getting at or maybe she was used to this sort of thing, but s

  12. Thanks Andy. That's the best it's ever been explained to me.

    Chapter 21 Questions

To begin with, THANK YOU Lisa. You leave some of the best reviews. It's clear you like the story by the details you retain after reading it. I think the next chapter when answer most questions concerning Fleming's motive for his attitude and actions. I think both his mother and father had a huge influence on Andy and that's why he is the way he is. The next chapter shouldn't be too far off. I hope, like Tim has mentioned, that I continue to improve. Again, Thanks!

    Chapter 21 Questions

I'm afraid its going to get worse before it gets better for JT. But you're right concerning Andy. Even Det. Jones don't buy into it. My thinking is Fleming has a hidden agenda. Thanks for the review
  21. Chapter 21 Questions Detective Jones, being a frequent visitor while his mother was hospitalized, had made friends with a few of the nurses. He had learned that they kept games in the children’s ward to help keep them occupied. He talked one of the cute young nurses into letting him have one for him and JT to pass the time. The detective and JT were focused on a game of checkers when a knock on the door disturbed them. JT looked at the detective with a raised eyebrow. Jones shrugged his
