If you can see the little round bare spot to the left of High Rock, that's the city I named Pine Hills in the story, Trials and Tribulations. There a picture in the scene album from Main Street in Pine Hills of High Rock in the distance. Now everyone has a view from both sites.

  4. I'm looking for someone that's good at photoshop. I need a person erased from the photo. Can anyone lend a little helping hand?
  5. I was just wondering if it's unethical or immoral or some other wrong for a beta reader or editor to like or leave a review on a story they are working on. What's your opinion? It's never too late to be what you might of been.
  6. Hiya Lisa, Fathers are a little different than mothers. It makes a father proud to see their son act in the manner Andy did, even though he did want to go in and be with him, he respected Andy for his strength and didn't want to feel less of the man Andy is becoming. You're right, there's no way Andy and Joey could have hidden their relationship from someone living in the home. I think Andy know that from the beginning with his dad and his aunt and uncle. Heck, Roger knew it before they said anything to him about it. Like you, I hope the change in JT is for real and long lasting. It's hard to tell with teenagers. I agree that it will be hard to keep Andy's and Joey's relationship quiet during a state-wide election, but it's not impossible. Cool joke There are a lot of Miss Nancy out there... somewhere Thank you for another terrific review. With the reviews from everyone, it makes writing more enjoyable than it already is. So, Thank you.
  7. Hiya Benji! Thank you for another awesome review. I'm sure Detective Jones with or without a little help will find the truth. As for the judge and his possible run for a state-wide office. he hasn't decided yet. He hasn't even spoke to JT and Cody about the possible spot light being shined on them and if they are still okay with staying with him and Andy. You right, and race like this will bring in the family. It always does. Again, thank you!!!
  8. A calm before the storm... mmm... that may be well put Thank you Stephen for leaving your thoughts, They are always welcomed.
  9. Thank you! I agree, it's going to get interesting Again, thank you for your review, it means a lot!
  10. Thank you Ian. The story is still building, even at this point. Several things still has to take place before most of the unanswered questions are answered and this part of the characters' lives come to a close. Hopefully, by the conclusion, most of the plot lines will be tied up in a nice pretty bow. I say most, because something must be left for you to want to read about the next part of the their lives. Again, thank you very much for leaving your thoughts!
  11. Thank you! I could have made this chapter two chapters and maybe doubled my likes and reviews, but I felt those of that have been reading this story from the beginning deserved a good long chapter. I can only say that no matter what happens, I hope no one gets hurt.
  12. Chapter 25 Contemplations Miss Nancy had just finished cleaning up after dinner when Judy and Mr. Reed entered the kitchen where she was putting away the last of the dishes. “What can I do for you two?” She hadn't known Judy but for a few hours and already she liked her. Her instincts told her there was more than a professional relationship budding between Judy and the judge. And the way she interacted with the boys, made her believe that in no time this would be a big happy family and not j
  13. I've read Book 1 on another site, Saber Peak Ranch, and fell in love with it. Even when I was in Florida on vacation last year, I couldn't stop reading it. Book 2 is just as a compelling read as Book 1. I really hope that Book 2 is completed now and will be posted here. I was really disappointed when he stopped posting on the other site, for whatever reasons. I strongly recommend this story.
  14. You're very welcome. And thank you for leaving you kind comments,
  15. Thank you! I think you're right, she'll have her hands full, but if anyone can handle them that's from outside the family, it's her. I believe we all have a little of our father in us, at least those fathers that are around for their children. Their actions and beliefs are imprinted even when we try to throw them off and rebel. I know that as I've gotten older, I find myself becoming more like my father everyday. Perhaps it's just me. Thanks for the review, it really means a lot!
  16. for mr chris
  17. I like to welcome you to the site as well. I hope you find the site as interesting as I do. I also like to welcome all our new members. Without a doubt you will find some awesome stories and other activities that may interest you. Everyone should know that most members are very helpful with any questions you may have. Don't be shy if you don't understand something, just ask. Again, WELCOME!
  18. Hiya Lisa Thank you for another awesome review. You always take the time to write out your thoughts and feelings for this story and I want you to know, that it means a whole lot to me. As for Michael, at one time I thought of him a lot and worried about his safety in a war torn country. Once I found out the truth, I was hurt like had been before over similar situations. If he had been honest, I'd still would have been his friend. Since I had brought up this situation he had described to me earlier in the story, I felt I had to set the record straight. Hopefully, he read it, but if not, I still did my part. You're right, I wish more people were like Andy and his father, sadly they aren't. Maybe in time everyone will be accept for who they are and not just tolerated. I'm trying to make the chapters longer, since so many people ask for it. Perhaps the next one will be. Again, thank you!
  19. I truly believe that one day the temptation to snap a picture of a gay couple won't even exist, because it will be so normal that we will pass them with a wink and a nod. There probably are places in Texas and every other state or provinces where gays aren't met with acceptance, but they're places that blacks, Asians, Indian, or whites aren't welcomed with open arms too. I hope, along with you, that one day we all can walk anywhere we choose without being met with ignorance and bigotry.
  20. First Love How about this one?

  22. Hey! Thanks CW. You're right, the situation sets up a lot of possibilities. However, so far there has been no indication that JT is gay or even given it much thought, but time will tell the tale
  23. Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day and that you will have an awesome weekend. A new chapter is now posted for Trials and Tribulations. I'm sorry concerning the time between the chapters, but life has a way of getting in the way of the things we love to do. For me, I love writing this story, and I hope that the interest shown thus far in the story, remains. I like to mention Wayne aka Comicfan and Louis aka LJH and thank them for their tireless work which they have freely given, without compensation. They have been instrumental in making the story more colorful and tighter which makes the story more enjoyable. They have taught me a lot and I hope it shows in my writing. So when you click on like or leave a review, they also receive your show of love, for I gladly share it with them. Not only are they good beta readers and editors, they both are also awesome authors and I hope you will check out their work and leave them some love. As they say, we save the best for last and that's YOU. You the readers of this story- those of you that has stayed with it from the beginning and intend to stay until the end. I also want to welcome those of you who have just found this story recently and have either, wrote me, left a review, and/or clicked on the like button, or just read the story without doing anything other than enjoyed reading it. As you can probably guess, we are coming to an end. How many chapters that will take is hard to tell. I'm not like a lot of authors, really good authors, who have an outline that even tells them what will happen in each chapter from the beginning to the mapped out ending. Therefore, it's hard for me to say just how many chapters are left. Some plots will be tied-up and closed, some will be left open, and some new ones may come to life. I just ask that have a little trust in me. I won't totally leave you hanging. The next few chapters will be coming out quicker than the last few, however I can't give a time frame for their posting. But I will endeavor to keep my word. There is a forum where you may asked questions, leave comments, or discuss the story with other readers and myself. The link to it is below. http://www.gayauthors.org/forums/topic/33400-trials-and-tribulations/ It's never to late to be what you might of been.
  24. I'm glad I didn't disappoint and hope that the next chapter won't either! Have an awesome 4th of July weekend!
  25. Thank you!
