Chapter 4 Black Clouds on the Horizon
Enoch commented on Enoch's story chapter in Chapter 4 Black Clouds on the Horizon
I hope Andy doesn't come off as a drama queen. Sometimes one can see something unexpected that will shock one into making an uncharacteristic exclamation. Hopefully, that's the case here. Thanks! -
Joey does seem to be the all around package, good looks and heart. Andy is one lucky guy. Thanks, I try to make each character react as a person their age would to each given situation. Thanks for your review. It means a lot.

I'm glad you like it. And thank you for your kind words. Let me know what you think of the coming chapters
-
Thank you! Yes, the first few chapters has some errors like you pointed out. One day, maybe a really smart editor will take pity on me and help me fix those once the story is completed. Again, thanks for the awesome review!

I'm sorry, it doesn't look like I will have a chapter out this week. I'm not sure what happened. As they say, stuff happens. If not Friday, now, then maybe Monday. One thing I'm not going to do anymore is rush to get a new chapter out. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, stuff is just against me. No one to blame, just stuff. *shrugs* Sorry

I think everyone has ups and downs, some more than others. clearly. I just try to push through each day by taking things one day at a time. I'm far from prefect, but I try to prefect my life, each day. What I mean is, I try and make each new day better than the last one. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't, but the key word is, I try. I will never ever give up

Thanks for commenting again on the story. JT's story so far, is like many of others, our parent's views being forced on us. How we react to that is what makes us different. Again, thank you!

You're moving right along in the story thus far. Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy
Enoch commented on Enoch's story chapter in Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy
Thanks Bleu! It was never my intentions nor will it be, in this story anyway, to preach my beliefs or those of anyone else. With that being said, the actions and beliefs of Andy and Joey are important to them and are a part of their character's make-up which makes them unique individuals, as we all are. Even Andy and Joey doesn't react exactly the same to events and circumstances. I'm glad you see the points I try to make through-out the story and the lessons that we can incorporate into our daily lives. Thanks for an awesome review and I hope I can continue to hold your interest through-out the coming chapters. -

Thank you Prince. Even though your gut may have led you wrong, hopefully you'll continue to like the story Thanks for the review! -
The next couple of chapters will explain Joey's situation clearly. I promise that at some point the motive behind Timmy's reaction will be revealed. Again, thank you very much for leaving a review. It's the only reward my team and I receive.
-
Hey Prince! Yes, it truly is beautiful and the natives will tell you it's God country. Fantasy may very well become reality. It could be a long time before we know for sure why Timmy reacted the way he did, sadly, maybe never, but you make very good points. You welcome to read as you feel best for you. I just glad you have chosen to give it a try. Hopefully, it won't disappoint. Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. It means a lot!

Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy
Enoch commented on Enoch's story chapter in Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy
Sorry Lisa, I assure you it's not my intention to commit murder However, I do want to have you want to come back to the read the next chapter As for Andy's test, no matter how they turn out, Joey and Andy can still have a long loving relationship that spans decades. Just gotta have faith Who would have believed a President winning an election by a land slide would have people break in to the opposing party's nation office? Politics makes people do stupid things. I promise to have the next chapter out sooner than the last one. -

Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy
Enoch commented on Enoch's story chapter in Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy
All small towns aren't boring Thanks Stephen for leaving a review. It really means a lot to me. I hope the story continues to be interesting and enjoyable. -
I recently had a blog up that several people commented on and I found I could agree with points made by everyone, including myself. And I appreciate every comment made. However, I can also see that the anger behind the things I said and could possibly say, is not, would not be, good for the relationships between authors and editors here at GA.. Therefore, I deleted it. Not because of what anyone said, but because of what someone might say that could do harm to the community at large. I don't want to be responsible for that. No, no one from GA approached me and asked me to do this. Although if they had of, I could see their point of view, as well. The relationship between author and editor is a balance of hard work by both parties, plus the love and enjoyment of a being apart of creating a story. Authors, at least this one, has to work hard to bring a story to life. I, fortunately, have the help of an amazing author, beta reader, and friend. I don't know of anyone that doesn't count him as a friend, because he's that kind of guy- a great friend. Yet, life gets in the way at times that prevents an author the time or the ability to write, especially those of us that receives no payment for the work we produce. The only payment we are honored with is the occasional pat on the back with a review and/or "like". For those I am truly thankful. An editor works just as hard, and sometimes, if they have an author, like myself, they're working with, they have to work even harder. Not every author is at the same experience or educational level and the needs are different from author to author. An editor may also have to deal with an author that feels like the editor is their sophomore English teacher that was always onto them for rules that didn't seem important to writing a story. I've concluded that most of the fault in my situation, lay at my feet. I freely admit that in the beginning I was intimidated by and truly grateful for the skill level of my editor and didn't lay down the ground rules of what I expected, what I needed, and what my goals were. I won't make that mistake again, no matter the editor's experience or skill level. Also the lack of communication was my fault due to my health the last six months or so. It's hard to talk to someone not there. I just hope anyone that read the deleted blog forgives me for publicly crying foul and for starting down the path that could have hurt your relationship with your editor or author. Every relationship needs work for it to work. I will finish by saying I truly do appreciate the work every editor has done for me and the hard work that my beta reader does, both without pay. Have a awesome day. Billy

Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy
Enoch commented on Enoch's story chapter in Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy
LOL I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself -
Chapter 22 Plots and Tragedy I sat there stunned. I had no idea how a shirt of mine could have ended up at JT's house. Wait a second, he said it had my name on it. I don't put my name on my clothes, not even my underwear. I've never had a reason to. I leaned forward to meet the detective's gaze. “How do you know it's my shirt?” “Like I said, it has your name on it.” Fleming said smugly. I guess Judy understood what I was getting at or maybe she was used to this sort of thing, but s
