Andy, Andy, Andy, where do I start? You were the first person on here to actively befriend me with your help. And soon after, another new friend suggested I read this story. To be honest, it took me a while to get started reading; however once started, I couldn't stop. So, within a 36 hour period, I read it all. I loved the characters Jason and Peter. And I hated the way Peter became after the attack. So much so, I was almost ready to write you off as someone I would read again for breaking them up. But what that proves is, you had me. You had me in your story, you had pulled me into it and made it real to me. And that Andy takes talent. So, I will be telling others of this story and I hope they have as much fun reading it as I did. If I found anything bad to say about this story, it's only this. I wanted more. I would have liked to seen them through their senior year and perhaps beyond. Thank you for sharing your story with us!

I too have felt the sting of betrayal. I know what it's like to place your trust in someone and have it all go wrong. But Tim, we have a choice. We can choose to live in the past and have it control us or we can learn from it, move forward, and take control of our life. Live our life the way WE choose. I choose to be happy and not let my past control me. I hope you do as well.

Stand Tall Stand Free At first the smell of smoke is carried on a gentle breeze. A loud knock on your conscience, makes your heart freeze. The many times you stood and ignored the warning signs. Fear questions, is it for you now that death draws nigh? The politician sings to the crowds of promises and hope. But in the end, as it always is, it's left up to you to cope. It matters not their color or strip; they're all the same. The speeches are inspiring, but it's all about fame. Wait t

I could go on and on with all the things already said, and be truthful; but, I'll just agree with them and say I look forward to chapter 2.

HAHA I can't say. Some things are best left unsaid except between the two involved. And thankfully, we have come a long ways since that night Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. It means a lot!

Thank you for reading and commenting. That means a lot to me. I think we all have these feelings at some point. And hopefully we can learn and grow from them. I'm really glad you liked it!

Thank you. Coming from good writers like yourself, comments like that almost makes me believe I'm not a fraud by having the title poet here. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment

Thank you to everyone that has made me feel so welcomed and have gone out of your way to be helpful. And now I like to welcome all the new people myself and let you know that there are wonderful people here that are friendly and helpful. It doesn't matter if you are just needing to find your way around the site or wanting to post your own story, just ask someone and I know you will find the warmth and willingness to help as I did.

Thank you for your kind words. And you're right of course, love is simple and trying. But then, any relationship worth having is worth hard work to make it last. This actually my second offering and thank you for reading and commenting. It means a lot to have talented people like yourself to make positive comments.

Thank you Mark for reading and commenting. It means a lot to have others to like my work. Especially when it comes from a nice guy as well. Life is full of ups and downs, in and out of relationships. But, without experiencing the valleys, we wouldn't know how special the mountain top really is.

I think its emotions we all feel or felt at one time. There are times when little things will cause us to doubt the strength of our feelings or make us feel like we are on top of the world. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment.

KC, I really enjoyed Chasing the Shadows very much from the beginning to the end. Shade was quite the character as was both Garrett and Kieper. An awesome ending to an awesome tale. Thank you for sharing it with us! :king:

Chapter 1: The Prince and the Demon
Enoch commented on Tiger's story chapter in Chapter 1: The Prince and the Demon
Thank you for suggesting this story. I just finished the chapter and thought before I left for my Dr. appointment I'd write a review for you. I really liked it and look forward to losing myself in this well written tale of adventure and coming of age. Prince Mahai seems to be a very thoughtful boy with the way he thinks of his potential familiar Fabian's well-being first before his own wants and needs. The Gods should shine a light on a boy like this. Good work Tim! -
My Angel My Devil The clock ticks towards one o'clock. I sit and wait silently for the one I love. He said he'd be having dinner down the block, But no where to be found on earth or heaven above. When I look into his eyes, I see a sad angelic face. I ponder why this beautiful boy looks so sad. I wrestle with this thought as back and forth I pace. I resolve within my heart that his love for me is no fad. But still the time moves on and does not stand still. He hasn't returned to me and

It's always my hope that anything I do brings a happy memory or becomes an inspiration to the light within us all. Thank you for your review and your insight.

You are very kind to a poor country boy who is just looking to share a little of himself in hope that others will do the same. Just like you did here

These are some poems I wrote about a time in my life in my mid-teens, that was both painful and scarey for a young boy. I was facing both death and rejection. My grandfather had a lake we would go to and fish. But there were times I would go alone to just think and sort through everything happening in my life. This is my way of saying that if we would just stop and think our way through things, there is no mountain we cannot climb or no goal we cannot reach.

O' My Lake O' my lake that brings my reflections, You are so true and faithful to my direction. For without your enlightenment, I would shudder, Being like a ship without a rudder. Majestically you lie for all to ponder The unlearned and foolish are left to wonder But the wise are washed in your grace, Which gives strength and wisdom in all we face. Balancing on the brink of hope and despair, Scanning to and fro for which would be more fair. I ponder the thought, can one exist wi

When the world falls apart...
Enoch commented on Foopy's story chapter in When the world falls apart...
I cannot imagine the pain that brought forth this poem from within your heart and soul. But from what I have seen of you in chat and in words, I feel today you are stronger for it and so am I at your sharing. Thank you! -
The poem is powerful and sings of hope with each new day. Thank you for sharing a piece of yourself with us. I hope each birthday in the future is filled with love, hope, and joy. *HUGS*

I have to say the Fly, but not the movie. The original black and white The Outer Limits show that I am sure the movie was based on. I didn't see it when it came out, but I was a small kid when I saw the re-run.
