Have watched and enjoyed the whole series, along with the prequel, gods of the arena. This and Rome, shows the empire more as it was.

You do the world of Pern, great justice, Dark. Just like my first time reading the Anne MacCaffrey, I was unable to stop reading this story. The characters, dragons included were fantastic, and you expanded on something often touched upon in the Pern books. I'm glad I found this tale will searching for a light read. Was by far one of the best stories, that I've read, on here yet. Tom

Fantastic story, if a little dark in bits, the abuse is handled well. The rest read like a regular happy life. Loved the Shane, Derek sub plot...proved he was more mature than his years.
