That was utterly infuriating - again - until it wasn't anymore, and they made it right. Or I hope they did, because I face-palmed at least twice whilst reading this chapter.

Perfect. As to Vancouver Mom, I get the feeling she'll compromise, but no further than that. Their relationship will never be as warm again as it was or should be. Which is a pretty awful thing, when you think about it.

The trust is positive and this may even be a healing experience for Lex, but I cannot imagine what he went through to get those scars, nor how he has coped in the aftermath of that sort of abuse. This chapter was both warming and chilling at the same time. Thanks kbois!

Not that I disagree, but to be honest I feel worse for Brittney than I do for Lex - having mated, it seems he can enjoy more freedoms than before, and certainly more than she does. Enjoyed catching up with them all. Thanks Thirdly.

None of that sounds remotely healthy. I hope you're now getting support, care and recognition from those you expect it from - and if not, time to make some changes. A sore back is about as much fun as completing a tax return (apologies to any accountants reading here...)
