  1. Interesting. This one passed under my nose and I didn't notice it. I mean, this was shown last year!
  2. A few hours later, I arrived at the small base that Batman had set up just beneath the city of Metropolis. The place was always loud and always bright. It was like the complete opposite of Gotham. There were no crime lords or mafia that were trying to take each other’s throats out. I didn’t leave a note about my whereabouts. Only Nightwing knew about it and I was sure that father would assume that I was on a mission with the Teen Titans. It would be a matter of time before he would find out

    Preparations

Thank you for noticing that. No worries about being rude or anything. I value all forms of reviews, positive or negative. As of now, I don't have an editor nor a beta reader and I'm still looking for one. Hopefully, it could fix some of the 'unrealistic' parts. But as I have stated, Mentals are evolved species and they think a lot differently. Theoretically speaking, their brain functions are far advanced than your average human person. A non-mental character of their same age group is Colin and he doesn't respond like how Kieran and Aiden would. I hope this would give you some enlightenment. Environmental circumstances and situation can also rapidly mature young individuals. If you watch the TV Series "Gotham," the teenage Bruce Wayne's maturity was also unrealistic. Again, I am still thankful for your criticisms. Don't be shy from giving more.
  4. I apologize for this, there are certain inconsistencies with the POV. Gateway was originally written in a third-person perspective so I might have missed that one out. Thank you for your patience.
  5. Is there anyone here who's been cross- fitting for while? I really need some insights and testimonials, aside from the ones Google has been offering me. It's something that I want to fit in my tight schedule since I really want to go for it. But I am still weighing on it if it will affect my work from being too sore. Some of the testimonials stated that, it was really awful for the first few days. And then there were some that states, the workout can be 'adjusted.' I'm kind left confused. Insights, anyone? (I'm actually asking for help!)
  6. We're in a progress. I am just really careful that I might accidentally make a plot hole since it's quite complicated. But thank you for the support!
  7. I'm good at flirting with other guys. But I don't use winking or smiling. Since I am a very touchy person, I would usually give random hugs to people I am close with. Or sometimes, if I am really comfortable with them, I'll try to chew on their shoulder. Like how a cat would play with you. (I got it from one of those teens I need to watch over a few years ago. Whenever he was trying to be sweet to me, he would try and bite my shoulders. It became a habit for me as well.) However, I suck at analyzing if other guys would flirt at me. Either I would overthink friendly gestures as a flirting, or I would overlook flirting as friendly gestures. Lately, there's this cute guy whom I instantly become close to. And I just had to refer to another gay friend of mine just to tell me that there were red flags all over. I just thought all of them as friendly gestures. Now, I'm crushing on this guy. But our closeness for now is just too vague. It's a headache! I play safe, though. I only play sweet when it's safe to be sweet. There's no way I would be flirting in public.
  8. Too much details turn me off. I am more of a person who looks at the bigger scheme and small details would usually come and go within my imagination. Like what the other folks here said, I am also a fan of "show, not tell" kind of narration. I only read the details if I need to put myself into the shoes of the character. I really love those scenes wherein everything is intense. When it comes to grammar, I can tolerate as much as I could. As long as I can grasp the idea then I am fine.

    Obliterator 101

“Train us?” I gasped. But Obliterator seemed too bored to reply. Aiden and I were still tied together and were still hanging on a tree. The Asian man’s scarf was still hanging around his neck and stretched to great lengths. It looked like a harmless piece of cloth but Obliterator was actually using it as a weapon. “What for? We’re capable already.” “Idiot. He managed to follow us.” Aiden snapped at me. I wanted to kick him in the guts but it wouldn’t be too good of an idea. We were both imm

I want to give a clue. But there are a lot of subliminal messages here. You just need to understand Liam further. There's a reason why I used a diary writing style.
  11. November 8th, Wednesday Well, I was stuck with Vlad again. He was starting to be a bit talkative. And yet there were times that he would zone out and his thoughts were probably so deep I had to snap him out of it a few times. I kept wondering what he was thinking off. Probably how to kill me and dispose of my body properly. I hope not! So far, I lowered my guard a bit further. Since I was tasked to take care of him, I had to introduce him to other clubs that I know of. And because I wa

    And if he does?
  14. November 6th, Monday Today is the big reveal. Actually, there were two big reveals. And I don't know which was worse. Our discussion about the cursed house. Or that we have a new classmate. Both of which shook me. Let's start with the discussion. It was cut short because we didn't have forever during lunchtime to discuss about what happened. We started again with the narration as to how we found the occultists pushing a certain teenage boy to drink the blood of some animal, or someone
  15. Wow. They managed to pull off a good Mike Wheeler look-alike! On some other Stranger Things side-comment, Noah Schnapp is definitely a cutiepie. Hopefully he stays cute all the way. Sadly, Charlie Heaton is getting blasted for multiple issues. Will he stay for Season 3, I wonder?

Yeah, it's a Catholic thing. Hang on. Just a few more.
  17. Thank you. I hope that this will be able to touch and tickle their hearts.

    Chapter 14

Sorry. I'm a big fan of sleep overs! In stories and in real life!

    Chapter 14

Coz you know, Philip may do something like that when they sleep over. Still a nice idea tho.

    Chapter 13

Sorry, but I love to play god with my characters and make them suffer. But fun is still good.

    Chapter 14

"Getting woke up by being licked in the face is going to take some getting used to." No idea why I laughed at that. Sorry, Wes. I think that's really your intention.

In which part? I'm just worried that I missed a continuity error.
