    As much as I wish Kevin could find peace within himself, I feel that until he faces and conquers those demons within, he will be forever broken......Adam seems to be too rigid and controlled by opinions of others to be a supportive and nurturing partner.............That being said............I truly want them to find some common ground on which they can develop a healthy relationship; both need the other..........the hell to all who would interfere............. Great chapter, as always..............Love these guys, even when they (you) make me crazy.................Mike

    I feel a dark foreshadowing for any happy outcome for Kevin...he always seems to choose a potential partner who will not commit to the relationship.....whether intentional or not on Kevin's part, I don't know. As I have learned (the hard way) the best way to get over someone is to get under a new one.......Kevin wants things from his lovers that they cannot give him......Until he realizes this, the pattern will continue.......I wish Kevin all the best in figuring himself out.......maybe Becker will grow up as well...............Great character insight although somewhat depressing.......I love this whole arc in the saga............Thanks.     Although more than twenty years have passed since Mom died, I still feel her presence......My autistic granddaughter insists on sleeping with the Nette bear when she visits; Jeanette was her name, Nette to her siblings, Mom and Nanny to her children and grandchildren......Some might wonder how her great granddaughter (who was born years after her death) would know her childhood nickname.................I smile each time I hear that little voice asking for her Nette...........Beautiful poem Gary....you have touched my soul yet again..............Mike

    I recall while in college, having many of the same hopes, dreams,fantasies, fears (even some naughty experiences) as Adam has experienced......Hopefully he will survive this explosion of self awareness and grow to accept who he truly is without useless baggage......AND, being a romantic at heart, that he and Kevin find their individual paths converging again. This is a well written story; the characters are compelling and flawed....I love it...............:)Mike

    I don't get why Donovan thinks that Shane is an asshole. The guy is plainly attracted and doesn't feel that Donovan needs to go to extreme measures to impress him. This should tell Donovan that Shane is interested in him as he is......not a perfectly put together version of male beauty. I would think that would be a good thing......to have someone that wants you as you are, warts and all...........Relax Donovan!!!!!!! :)Mike
