I recall, during my own pre-wedding counselling sessions, the good reverend making a point that you don't marry your mate...that you actually marry the entire family. At the time I thought he was nuts, but as it turns out...he was right. I know exactly how Andy was feeling during the meet the new brother in law dinner....not to mention that he is gay and underage. I'm quite surprised that it turned out as well as it did. I'm still hoping that things proceed smoothly and Andy and Zander are happily joined in marriage...I've got my fingers crossed.........:)Mike

Parker, I just just pray that Andy doesn't get overwhelmed by all the demons that still torture his fragile spirit and do what he knows all too well...run. I admit that when noticing the chapter title, I did feel that might be a possibility; you didn't relieve my concerns through his diary "confessions"....not to mention the unknown arrival of Zander's older sibs. He is so close in achieving happiness and security with Zander and his family...but I feel very unsettled that his HEA will not materialize.......Hate to be negative, I really do, but I just get bad vibes. I guess that is a true testament to you as to just how invested I have become in Andy's journey.........Great job even tho' I'm not feeling so secure (like Andy).....................:)Mike

Rex, You have captured the humanity of Ryan in this chapter.....from the acceptance of his current daily regimen dealing his his situation ( I didn't say handicap because he id NOT handicapped) to his excitement of the doctor's appointments and finally achieving his goal...to disappointment of additional surgery and more delays.... to actually getting a chance to walk on prosthetic legs. The shower scene demonstrates my point...we have all had that time in our life when it is just too much. Beautifully written; sincere but not melodramatic Great chapter Rex..........:)Mike.

I like Craig.....he seems to be a man on a mission.....focused and determined; although we know that he has been through so much emotional carnage. Very powerful writing Parker......Andy has to be one of the strongest characters I've ever enjoyed meeting, you have given such depth to him over the many chapters...he just continues to become evolve into a strong and confident young man. I don't know if I, personally could absorb all the latest intel that was explained by Ambrose and Uncle Allan....it's just overwhelming when I recount the story to myself. You have taken us all on a troubling and exciting journey....although still not over......and I have admittedly not always wanted to continue...but Thank God I did............Hungry for more...much more............. Craig's response to his twins deceit reminded me of the term carpet-bombing that was used during the Vietnam War; unlike the surgical strikes commonly using during the Gulf War and later. He calmly and methodically neutralized his opponent.....but he should be aware that unless the snakes head is removed, it is still a threat....Even the detached head has been known to be of danger........Enough of that....lol I am so excited to read this chapter....Craig finally taking charge of his life ....and moving forward after Harlan's death....the gutting of Carly was just icing on the cake.....Now go feed your man....he is too thin, but DAMN...........:)Mike
