Chapter 97 A Memorable Night to Forget
Dodger commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 97 A Memorable Night to Forget
Had to check which story you were commenting on here. You're trying to confuse me, retaliation for Tyrone nationality, I suspect. There would be a bit of an age difference between Andy & Tom. Andy age 21 in 1998 would be 33 in 2010 when Tom is 16. Tyrone, of course, would be 30 in Robbie's day and well into retirement, if he survives that long? -

Thanks Tony. Not too long to wait for 98! I can't promise that everything will be resolved just yet though. -
So now we know who to blame, although I would stick with these guys rather than the cheap foreign imports. Wilf knows his winds? After a winter here with temperatures as low as -35C I want to place an order for the summer please. Not too many thunderstorms because of the dog, rain only at night, no cloud during the days, warm but not too humid. Am i being too fussy?

Chapter 97 A Memorable Night to Forget
Dodger commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 97 A Memorable Night to Forget
Very true JayT and I can understand how people can relate to Alex (the disadvantaged and misunderstood rebel who's fighting the world). More than Nathan (the self-assured, multi-talented, and often conceited boy who wants for nothing). I can also relate to this character but that doesn't mean Robbie and Alex are going to head off into the sunset together. In the end that will have to be Robbie's decision. -

Your spot on JayT. Alex desperately lacks in self-confidence which is why he's a bully and so conscious about his image. He's not like his older brother and doesn't want to be like him or like his dad. Whether or not Robbie gets together with him, he can still help his friend in a way that no one has been able to before. He's in a unique position now because Alex trusts him completely which he has never done with anyone else before. Hmmm, interesting analogy. I know they're only young but I got a feeling Robbie's gonna be expecting a little more after all the hype from his boyfriend. -

You are definitely not alone @Israfil but you were probably the first pro-Alex person to comment. -

Yeah, it was a good night for Robbie and he did noting wrong. As Jimmy said he was just having a bit of fun. It's easy to have fun at his age. A couple of drags on a joint, a few mouthfuls of beer, a bit of flirting, and a little harmless groping with your boyfriend. That's all it takes. Nicola should have been pleased that it was only her brother who surprised them and not her dad. It's difficult not to feel sympathy for Alex. While Robbie's having fun with Nathan, who seemingly, has the world at his feet. There's not much for Alex to look forward to. The fact that he cried in front of Robbie says a lot. He probably wouldn't have done that with anyone else. Thanks JP. -

Robbie is concerned for his friend and it pains him to see Alex hurting, both physically and mentally. Perhaps those feelings are a little stronger than you would expect him to have for a friend he hasn't known for a particularly long time. Robbie has always been attracted to Alex although he doesn't understand why and denies it even to himself. There was nothing sexual in the way he comforted him but there was a great deal of love there. He will have to come to terms with this soon and make some serious choices, instead of brushing it under the carpet. Thanks @Wesley8890- 36 comments

It was just before eight o’clock when my very tired and overexcited little sister dropped an empty bottle of juice on the kitchen floor. I was standing next to her at the time and carried the barefoot culprit out of the danger zone, through a minefield of broken glass and upstairs to bed. I had been neglecting Amy of late. Time spent with my boyfriend had starved her of the attention that I once lavished on her and I felt guilty for it. Nathan was a demanding soul, both physically and mental

You're right, Andy should have followed his instincts and left well alone. Thanks @FanLit

Tyrone is not not a very nice person, to put it mildly. He has some serious issues which explain some of his behavioral problems but it still doesn't give him the right to play with people in the way that he does. At the moment he's making a lot of people a lot of money and that's all they care about. Once he stops doing that he's in for a big surprise. Thanks @deville

The main bedroom faces the front where the paparazzi are camped out but because of the radiator problem Tyrone had to move into one of the smaller rooms that face the back. There is a small garden which backs onto another row of houses. The driveway and security hut is at the side. Thanks Steve.

Thanks @Parker Owens You could also say it's a little 'off the wall'.

Thanks for your comment @Edward We will see if Tyrone is man enough to own up to his skullduggery? If he does this will probably find it's way into the tabloids and he will be forced to confirm that he's gay. This shouldn't be a problem for him personally but some agents/managers/record labels have gone to great lengths to prevent it. Particularly when the artist has a large female fan base. In his case mostly teenage girls. The story is set in the 90's when denial was still considered necessary to protect sales of CD's/vinyl or even cassette tapes? As for the stories. I would never attempt to write 3 at the same time. 'The Gentleman's Guide' is a completed work of 10 chapters which is currently being edited by Timothy and Carlos and will be posted every Sunday. The same is basically true of the Church and Tradesman now although I'm editing this myself, which is tricky. The Cockney Canuck has been nearing the end for over a year now but I have to admit is still a little out of control.

Nothing is really plausible in this story I'm afraid. Unless, of course, you happen to be Tyrone Spencer!
-
I take full responsibility for the chapter delays but I'm not to blame for Tyrone's likeness to a certain JB, which is, of course, purely coincidental.
-
Well, the only thing that's certain is Andy survives because he's telling the story but how, i can't say. Maybe he lands on Bob? That would answer two of the questions. But is Tyrone man enough to come clean or is this just another game?
-
More on the way but Andy's already frozen. Thanks @frigidjason

“GET AWAY FROM HIM!” ‘Mrs Dewsbury’!!!!! I would be the first to admit that it looked bad. When the door flew open, I was naked and kneeling beside him on the bed. I had him pinned down with one hand holding his wrist and the other covering his mouth. There wasn’t a jury in the world that wouldn’t have convicted me. As I let him go and turned towards her to plead my innocence something hit me hard on the back of the head. I fell forward in a shower of ceramic as whatever it w

Drake has certainly set himself a challenge here, I've not been a huge fan of him because he has allowed his insecurities to dominate his feelings and he's very nearly paid the price for it. Jimmy has shown remarkable patience and understanding. Now that Drake's finally freed himself from those shackles that have been holding him back, I guess we'll see what he can do. Let's see what magic he can conjure up, because it's going to take something special.

Nice move Matt, for showing Parker that he's more than just flavour of the month.

Haha. The scene is set and the curtain ready to be raised once more. Just a few dabs of makeup for Mrs Dewsbury and we're ready. I wouldn't sit too close; things are about to get a little messy!!!!

A very understanding mom but I think I would have preferred to have avoided her and slipped out the way I came in.

I think this very much sums up Jeff's personality. He is a military man who enlisted before the US began sending large numbers of troops to Vietnam and a firm believer even afterwards that it was the right thing to do. Thanks droughtquake.
