What a great article. Thanks for sharing. All of us are gulty of this at one time or another in our "normal" lives, being uncomfortable, and not even want to be around someone whom I now consider one of the special people. It just takes us awhile to realise that although they have their problems, physical, or mental, they still have feelings the same as us and want to be treated accordingly.

There's nothing really specific that I would call the happiest time, because in general, I have had a pretty good life, but as far as noticing a difference in my happiness, I would say the last few years have been the happiest. Since I reached fifty, I feel more grounded, less stressful, and feel like I just enjoy life more.

Well, I felt that Gibby would wind up with Scott, and I feel that Tanner had a part in that. After all, Scott was a neutral person as far as the " Amanda gang". That being said, Shelby was the perfect stealth weapon here. Started out as Gibby's first friend, ended up as Gibby's best friend, and will get revenge for both her brother and Gibby. I will certainly miss this adventure. The only thing that I wonder is if Tanner ever made his presence known to Gibby again. Sure is a great thought to ponder, while ending this great read. Awesome Job kc. It was worth every moment I spent reading. Thanks for your time and wonderful talent. -
I actually, went out on my deck and relaxed a few minutes, thinking about this chapter. It reminded me of a movie ending of some sort, but I liked it. I love that Tanner finally had the chance to get revenge. The appearance of Gibby's mom was brilliant, giving Gibby peace there. Like all, I wanted it to be forever for Tanner and Gibby............so glad I waited to read this. has been a great read guy. Headed to see where you put the guys ten years from now. Thank you

Well, I guess you can be the green-eyed monster can rear it's head even when you are a ghost. It should be interesting to find out what Scott has to allow thought. Poor shelby. wish Tanner could communicate with her. Still can't wait to see what the law does toward the investigation into Tanner's death. Good job

I hope the officer is a lawmaker in his home as well as for the town. If not, things may get a little murky here for Gibby. Well, at least the truth is out, and if something happens to Gibby, maybe Office Blackfeather will know where or who to look for. I hope if something awful happens that Tanner can protect Gibby, because the bitch is pissed!

Gabby mom, being the reason for his scars took me totally by surprise, but now wondering if she died in the fire or what. Did i just read very high "spirited" make up sex? Can't wait to see where you go from here. Awesome!

Well, I guess even when your boyfriend is a ghost, you still have misunderstandings, that i know you are going to fix. I feel like you may show Shelby more now that we know that she is Tanner's sister. Just thinking. Very interesting that Tanner painted Gibby even before he knew him. Got my mind working overtime now. hmmmmmm

Loved the sounds effects, wind, blinds, cold rush of air, or should i say "scene from the exorcist"? lol Really, I loved this chapter, and since you are letting the ghost of Tanner have emotions, this is going to be one helluva ride, watching amanda get her just deserts. Wow, Tanner is kinda becoming the air that Gabby breathes, and Gabby is Tanner's feel of life, and as the two emerge, the emotions of both still win. I have to admit. You are doing a great job with this. But so glad I waited until you finished so I did not have to wait to see what happens next. lol

Well, this ghost/human relationship is going to take a lot of work, but you have told this story very well so far, so I am thinkiing you have a way of preserving your life, in the sense that you are going to make the reader happy.

Tell me you did not just kill Tanner. ( smacks you) I think what grates me the worst is the thought of Amanda killing him so unfeelingly, and horrificly. She is a certifiable nut case that should be hung in the town square. Can't wait to see how you soothe feathers here after killing off this beautiful character, that i thought would be Giggy's love interest. thanks for sharing your mom's thoughts. that was so special. going on to see what you have in store. lol
