Graduated high school. ------The least interesting thing thats happened. Rafa, my best friend, got stuck in my handcuffs. Thankfully found the key, then I gave them to Jake to be used on his girlfriend. ------We were all pretty high if that helps explain anything. Got into UC Berkeley. ------Im excited but cant really afford it. So Ill probably go to community college to get GEs out of the way and transfer. Was invited to 2 3somes. ------In the same day no less. One with the Jake and his girlfriend, the other with Danny (newly out and just turned 20) and Jake. Michael and I decided to go our seperate ways. ------But we had sex a few times before we really broke up. Got another tattoo. ------Its connected to the one I got on my 18th. Its awesome. Met an actress from the movie Grease (names Annette, played ChiChi) who told me she could get me on Broadway in 3 months. ------She 100% serious and Im considering it. Maybe live in NY with a friend and if it doesnt work out, go to college there or come back in a few years and go to Berkeley as planned. Had sex with a guy (the Jake from above) to help figure out if hes straight or gay. ------Hes still not sure, so apparently were going to have to try it a few more times to be sure. He really does have a girlfriend. Kind of, but not really raped. ------Ok so that last bit seemed more dramatic then it actually was. Met a guy in a club, I said no then stopped saying no. Missed my youngest brothers 7th birthday. ------That sucked. I wish I was still in my brothers lives, but my parents ended that. I could really careless about about them, but my brothers are important. Going out with the guy who waters my the plants at my buildings. ------Hes very different. Nice and . . . gentle, I suppose. He would be really good for me but, I dunno. We'll see. Theres more but I dont feel like going into it right now.

I dont know if this is appropiate because while it didnt really lead to romance exactly, it is fairly romantic but whatever. True story: (Actually I think I already posted this somewhere but oh well): A long time ago (about 5 years), I fell pretty hard for this new boy at school. Mike was really hot and effortlessly cool and funny and athletic and I really liked him. So we became really good friends. Now at school I was part of the choir and I persuaded him to try out, which he did and was accepted. But because he had joined halfway through the school year, he didnt know any of the material and would need someone to help him catch up. That someone was obviously assigned to be me. So Im at his house and were working on the material and after a while we somehow ended up making out. From then on we started sneaking around and slipping to each others houses when one of our parents werent home and just having fun. That continued for a few months until the end of the school year when I learned he wouldnt be staying in town for school next year, that he was flying back out to Chicago and I wasnt ever going to see him again (which, because he was moving into the high school and Id still be in middle school anyway the whole thing was moot but whatever). So he moves away that summer and Im heart broken and I think about him all the time and blah blah blah. 4 years later Im a junior my high school choir and were flying out to Chicago for competition (You should see where Im going with this). So Im at the venue where were competing at and Im just hanging out in our assigned homeroom with the rest of my choir doing nothing. I walk out into the hall and see another group of choir people from some other high school. But then I realize that he is one of those choir people, talking with a few of his friends. And he looked even more gorgeous then I remembered. But its a movie moment, ya know - I see him, he sees me, run into each others arms (in front of his friends and my choir) and make out, the whole thing. We spent most of the day together making out and talking about our lives and then doing a little more then making out in an abandoned classroom and its all great. While this story doesnt exactly have a happy ending for us two, seeing as how I came back from Chicago and he went to UIC, it was a nice ending for us individually. We do still keep in contact and last I heard, weve both met other people and are pretty happy.

Hey, length one subject I can talk hours about. Oh, sorry, I honestly didnt mean you personally, that was for everyone. Too long of a post that says nothing and I just roll my eyes. And you should be proud, your posts always make sense. Some others though . . .

*sigh* I saw the topic title and thought of something way different . . . anyway, I say take as long as you want to express your feelings on a particular subject, but be concise about it. Say exactly what you mean to, dont make me try and figure it out. Or else, after reading a huge post about something, and I still have no idea what youre saying, Ima be pissed.

Thank god someone said it. If I was about to see that no one mentioned Zeppelin in a topic about classic rock, well, theres no telling what I would do.

Above all, he is honest. With himself and with me. He has to be intelligent. He has to be able to hold interesting conversation. He has to be stable. I can be pretty unstable sometimes. A balance is needed. He has to be passionate about something. Something that shows he actually has interests. He should be someone I can learn something from. Ideas, places and things. He should be outgoing and affectionate and fun and cute. Thats about it.

I just think that as your best friend you see them a bit differently. You know them better and you help each other out through your problems. As best friends you go through things together so its kinda natural that you might like them to the point that you fall in love with them. But I dont really think gay people are any more prone to fall in love with their male best friend anymore then a straight guy would fall for his female best friend. And I dont think its a phase that all gays go through. It just happens. Edit - I totally didnt read anyone elses post and now that I just did, I realize how completely unoriginal I am.

God Is Dead by Ron Currie Jr. Pretty self-explanatory what its about. Its a good piece of fiction though. A bit f'ed up at times though. The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice. The first in the erotic trilogy. Pretty hot. Some heavy S&M themes but good so far.
