Chapter 3 - The Willing
CW Prince commented on Cole Matthews's story chapter in Chapter 3 - The Willing
Can't see the forest for the trees can ya Dylan? lol. We can be so focused on the small things that we miss the big picture. Wise up Dylan. Love is not about finding that perfect someone (the one we have created in our own mind) but finding an imperfect someone that can love us perfectly! -
Talk about tearing at your heart strings, WoW. I've been in a similar situation that Ben and Jerry found themselves within in this story and I have to say that you captured, portrayed and conveyed most everything that would have gone on in real life- emotion wise. I don't think I can honestly say just how close you came to real life other then to say that I found myself teleported back in time and while I read this I was reliving real moments within my life. Very impressive work!

The Curious Incident of the Mail in the Night Time
CW Prince commented on Thorn Wilde's story chapter in The Curious Incident of the Mail in the Night Time
I'm a bit perplexed about Mark's lack of communication. Couple that with his mom saying that he always has it charged and that plays on the worry wart in me. Why would he shut it off if he was just going to the Rubbity Dub for a few drinks? Does make you wonder if there is any kind of foul play going on instead of just innocent drinks. Not in the sense of Mark cheating on Ben but in the sense of other people trying to take advantage of him and trying to buy a bit of spotlight and fame at Mark's expense. I'm sensing that this could potentially turn into a point of annoyance and possible strife between Mark and Ben. Come on, give me a hint, lol. The suspense as to what happened to Mark is going to drive me into one of those white jackets that make you hug yourself and ties in the back. -
Kiorl going up top? Can we expect him to find something special up there? I've said it before but I'll say it again. He is my favorite! Sounds like the story could be coming into some very interesting twists. Son of Hell being stronger then his father. Talk of killing his father. Sons of Fire being stronger then the King of Hell. The King of Hell messing with and trying to rape Atoki who belongs to a Son of Fire. Kiorl standing up and leaving the King of Hell. All seems to have the makings for a near apocalyptic outcome.

For not liking Tabloids much you sure did a good job at writing a convincing article. Should we be looking at the Tabloids to see if your name is attached to new articles coming out? LOL Some interesting points in this chapter. Ben seems to be taking to the idea that the more you stir shit the more it stinks so just let them think what they will and be done with it. It was awesome to hear him advise his people that they needed to protect Mark and not worry about him so much. Selfless love!!! Ben also seems to be taking on the attitude and comfort that he isn't so scared or paranoid about being seen in public with Mark. A Premier...Wow. That is a step I wasn't expecting until much later or if at all. I'm sure there are still many toe stubbing, knee jerk and possible pitfalls that are yet to be bestowed upon Ben and Mark. I just hope they cope with them as well as they have so far. I'm also thinking that their sex life is about to get extremely...umm....what's the word? Diverse, interesting, kinky....makes me wonder if we're going to find one or both of them dressed in a leather harness, assless chaps or riding in a sling (ok, so my devilish side is showing thru here). LOL If I have learned anything from your previous stories that I have read it is that you are unpredictable and will assuredly surprise us. Always a pleasure reading your stories.
-
That was interesting. Now, don't take that wrong. Interesting is not a bad thing, lol. Just different. A bit diverse and we all know that diversity is the spice of life, lol. I really enjoyed this deviation from the norm of your writing. Can't say that I envy your main characters but I was laughing and shaking my head at the dialog.

You had my inner voice screaming when you described Mark waking to answer Ben's call with the way he was acting and stuttering like the proverbial child caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Then, and I will not mention all the 'choice' language I was thinking, when you described the russel of the sheets. I thought for sure that Mark had taken that 'straight' friend of his to bed. Suppose I should give Mark more credit. He made a bad choice early on in regards to the drugs but I shouldn't judge him poorly because of that error in judgment. You also had me teetering and wondering if you were going to let things go a bit too far with Ben and Matilda. I'm guessing that the reunion between Mark and Ben is not only going to be a very emotional one but may indeed be one that finds everything molten hot and thickly steamy. Hmmm, maybe Ben should look to hire Mark as a 'personal assistant' so he can travel with him.

So far I have to say that Kioral is my favorite out of all the demon characters you have presented so far. I'm trusting in your response to Myiege that he will be back and that we'll find him happy sated with a mate.

Holy Mary Mother of God....this is an interesting and quite fascinating twist. I'm enthralled and even more captivated. More please I'm hoping that you eventually cover the creation or where the Angels come from (both sides). Are they souls of dearly departed? Are they creations of this boy scientist? Are they a byproduct of the experiment that was unforeseen? Are they a race that came from another planet and while some aligned with the boy scientist other opposed him and became what we know as the Fallen Angels? I have so many question, Nephy, lol.

So let's just add some TNT into the already explosive powder keg that's within the Condo. Can someone say 'KaBBBooooommmmmmm"?? Anyone want to take a bet as to if Dimples decks Tyler and leaves??
-
3 parts to a whole??? The 2 (Pasha and Uzzy) are together while a 3rd (Gabe) rests outside of the 2. The only way to unite the 'whole' is to remove Uzzy thus forcing Pasha and Gabe together. Make them face and admit to what is between them so you can reinsert Uzzy into the equation and equal the 'whole'. Clever way of going about that, Neph. Very Very Clever! Sounds to me like uniting the 3 into the 'whole' is a power play to gain the upper hand in the battle or maybe another facet of the Kingdom. Should be interesting to find out exactly who this Kid really is and his role. I'm also going to be taking some time and going back over the chapters and seeing if I can piece together more of the story so I'm not left out in Right Field while everyone else is headed for Ice Cream

I'll keep this short as an overabundance of adjectives and adverbs would only detract from the simple yet heartfelt words I want to convey to you. Thank-you for this amazing journey....for sharing...for allowing us to walk with you through it all. It has been pure pleasure, with a little frustration thrown in, to walk the path of this story.

Andy still doesn't get it. Andy-life-breathing-living-happiness, all that goes hand-in-hand with Matt. I would venture as far as to say that if he screws up this relationship with Matt that it will hurt and put the beginnings to the end on his relationship with Linda. Life may separate best friends by miles as changes occur and they go about their lives....however life cannot put the miles of separation between their hearts. Only they can do that by saying goodbye, loosing faith or not trusting in their bond. Wish Andy would stop and realize that when two hearts are bound as his and Matt's are bound that the miles do not matter, the space does not matter nor does growing up matter. What really matters is holing that faith, love and devotion towards one another.
-
As much as I want to be angry with Andy I just can't. As much as I want to feel sorry for him I can't. That would fuel the fire of self hate, degradation and allow him to wallow further into this self made isolation prison away from Matt. He simply cannot see the hand that is still extended to him and the love and dedication that is being sent his way from Matt cause he refuses to forgive himself for what he did to Matt. Andy speaks of being vulnerable towards Matt and being hurt and the fear of rejection and being told that it is over. Selfish really. Its that fact in which lies his own salvation. Matt isn't pushing him away. Andy is the one pushing, fighting and kicking to get away. Maybe not consciously but unconsciously he is going to be the one to force Matt's hand one day. Guess its up to Andy which way that he forces that hand.
-
At some level I think most of us have faced what Andy is going thru. Maybe not the Bisexual thing but the feelings, confusion and the wanting to 'run' away. The feeling that its okay for others but not for me or the 'why' can't I be normal. Funny thing this 'normal'. We tend to look at society, family, friends and consciously or subconsciously try to measure ourselves by their standards of normality. What eludes us and/or we fight with is the realization that we are all unique. What is normal for one is not so normal for another. What is right for one is not so right for another. We are all born in a World created to be unique with a societal burden oppressed upon us to fit into a norm. The real question is can we embrace our uniqueness thus conquering the oppression placed upon us and break thru to the other side? Emerging and becoming what and who we were born to be while still finding our place among society?

The House with the Rose Coloured Memories
CW Prince commented on Thorn Wilde's story chapter in The House with the Rose Coloured Memories
And thus the bottom falls out and we find ourselves spiraling down into the abyss of accusations, doubts, misplaced anger and broken hearts. Red seething anger is what I imagine Ben is feeling at the moment. Mark seemed like the perfect outlet for that anger. Maybe Ben should have taken a step back, think outside of the box and rationally put the pieces together. I know, its easier said then done. Right now I think Ben is suffering from the disease we commonly call 'Foot in Mouth'. I cannot be too hard on him as I understand what he is facing and the fact that his career could be at stake. This situation cannot be met with a snappily halfhearted decision. Unfortunately that is the decision that Ben made for both him and Mark. Poor Mark is having all this displaced anger and accusations placed upon his innocent shoulders. I've a strong suspicion that Ben will be eating some Crow Pie and making amends in the near future. -
Confessions of a guilty man
CW Prince commented on K.C.'s story chapter in Confessions of a guilty man
I'd be fibbing if I said I was surprised at Dimples' reaction to the secretary. I don't like it but then again he is swimming in new waters and him and Ash are exploring this new territory. Right now I think they are merely in the kiddie pool. Dimples is just getting his feet wet so we cannot expect miracles out of him.....yet. Maybe they will graduate to the shallow end of the pool and gently float and gravitate towards the deep end. Let's just hope that Michael a little skinny dippin in that pool as well I'm a bit concerned about this lawyer that has been hired to defend the puss ridden, yellow bellied bottom feeding scum that shot Ash. I really hope that they do not destroy his life and scare Michael away in the process. It sounds a bit like poor Ash is going to become the victim here while they attempt to make his shooter out to be some saint instead of the low life, swamp infested, bile filed diseased boil on the butt of humanity that he is for shooting Ash. -
I've seen that it has been a while since you have update, posted or anything on this site. I'm hoping that you are still around. The story has been awesome to this point. I'll admit that it first caught my eye because of the Title. I'm a native Hoosier so, yeah, the title did pull me in for the read. Your writing tho is what kept me going. I'm just wondering if the story is finished? The ending to the last chapter posted could be taken as an end as it finally gave an answer to question of David staying. It just some how seems like it abruptly stop with so many loose ends. Either way I thoroughly enjoyed the read!

They Still Shoot Horses Don't They
CW Prince commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in They Still Shoot Horses Don't They
Rhyder seems to be more adapt to his current situation and lifestyle then he ever realized. Seems as if his origins seemed like home until he got to the Ranch and now he is experiencing that feeling of truly being home. You referenced prior in the stories that Jase is a player. Let's hope that maybe Rhyder will be his last play and they'll both find a home within each others hearts. -
Lawrd what a stubborn woman!!!!!!! Someone needs to flog her with a wet noodle. She does have some good points. That discussion about her acceptance does need to be done away from Kei. No hostilities in the room. Positive encouragement and energies only. It does seem that she has faced a few problems tho. Seems she is noticing that her and her husband could have been a bit better parents. Let's hope that isn't a false realization that will fade once Kei is better but one that will stick and continue to encourage more change in them. If I was Alex I wouldn't want her alone with Kei either. Who knows what poison she would spout and try to use to try and get Kei to believe what she wants him to believe. I know that she is his mother and that I shouldn't think like that but I just don't trust the woman.

So much has already been said and many praises given....so I'll keep this short. You've open yet another wonderful world of aliens and intrigue. I have to agree that there is an abundance opportunities in this story to make it into another series. I'll leave that decision up to you with a subtle hint that more would be good...hint hint
-
Okay, Thorn....what are you working up towards. I feel like we are being led into this blissfully wonderful alcove where we can peer over a beautiful scene where all seems serene, calm and perfect. Although the whole time we are unaware of the tsunami size wave that is about the crash and plunge the alcove into utter chaos and near ruin. Any idea why I feel that way, LOL? I suppose all we can do is hold on, hope for the best and pray that no one skewers themselves on the rocks. I have a feeling that the story is about to take some intriguing and monumental twists and turns.

I love this new side of Zu. He's like sweet n sour all rolled into one. Still rough, tough and oh so sarcastic on the outside and around his friends but when you get him alone with Zan he melts and and becomes this big teddy bear.

Chapter 6 Goodbye's Aren't Forever
CW Prince commented on zanoGreen's story chapter in Chapter 6 Goodbye's Aren't Forever
Good story but ya can't leave us hangin, lol. I'm all for a follow up or continuation of the story. Would be interesting to see what becomes of these two. Will they part ways? Will they stay in the sleepy lil town and make a life together or will they both leave and make that trek to Dallas? Thanks for sharing your story with us! -
I love the warmth and comradeship between Jason and Pete. It seems so natural and effortless. I know this story isn't so much about them but the other characters but I love the chapters that involve them and show that companionship that they share. I'm looking forward to learning more about Ethan and Blake. It seems they have a few obstacles to overcome. Although it does seem that they are handling things pretty well right now.
