  1. Beautifully descriptive, strong characters, took me a little while to get used to the sentence construction but that is my issue. It does add an authentic voice to your story.
  2. I have a feeling I will be checking out a lot of your stories. Fluff or not!
  3. I started reading this series thinking it would be a non-serious escape, a bit of fluff. What I have found is a compelling, well-written, complicated story. My hat off to you.
  4. Love love love your storytelling!
  5. I wasn’t sure how you were going to get Dean and Kris together but never expected that! Good job.

    Chapter 41

“Spooning leads to forking” — I almost spit my oatmeal across the table. LMAO! Sorry though, no ideas about the sequel. My college years were pretty boring. Or they were exciting but I was boring.
  7. Love Jack!
  8. Great content, need to go back and run a spell check. Glad to be gifted with another chapter.

    Chapter 6

    Simply beautiful.

    Chapter 34

I kinda hoped that the disgusting house parent would have shown up for the conclave. Bev’s and Mom’s reactions would have been priceless additions to the mix. Great story!
  11. Late to the game reading this chapter. Enjoying the story a lot. One question about writing conventions — why do authors have foreign characters refer to themselves in the third person? Surely Slav knows I and me and possessives. I have travelled a fair bit and never encountered this in conversations, or at least not after the first few minutes. Is this a linguistics thing that I am missing?

    Chapter 34

Ok this thing with Pitt — you now have entered into territory for us, your readers, best described in that quaint term “edging” lmao. The tropical clime is not all that is hot! Great chapter.

    Chapter 33

    Great chapter!

    Chapter 3

So, if I read correctly, only one bedroom? Hmmm, I am not sure, but is there a hint of foreshadowing there? I can see one night of spontaneous, mutual, fulfilling love among the three young men. At least I hope so, for all of their sake.

    Chapter 31

Shades of Horatio Hornblower and Billy Budd! Great story weaving.

    Chapter 19

Love the healing BUT I have not forgotten the bruises on Jack’s back and the total meltdown he had in the beginning. Waiting to see what you do with these elephants in the room.
  18. I don’t know how you do it, but this just keeps getting better and better. I know that isn’t a very informed statement, but that’s all I got.

    Chapter 5

A touch of Billy Budd with a dash of Horatio Hornblower? Really enjoying this!

    Chapter 11

As I read this the image that comes to mind is Nick sailing between Scylla and Charybdis -- though I am not yet sure if he is blithely unaware of the dangers or if he is a well-built barque able to navigate the forces swirling around and pulling at him. Loving this!

    Chapter 21

    A beautiful journey.
  23. A “pop up” toaster? Sure popped up at the right time!
  24. Such a beautiful and gently painful story with a perfect ending.
