    Chapter 11

I never stop being blown away by the imagination and intelligence you bring to your writings and this chapter is just one more piece of proof.

    Chapter 1

A very smart and inviting start. I am looking forward to Chapter 2. One thing, please find an editor or proof reader. The content is spot on but the spelling, word choice and grammar are a bit disconcerting. Make you words worthy of your storytelling.

    Chapter 1

“I blew a few raspberries, trying to dislodge the stray piece of cat hair I felt on my tongue. “Dammit, Martini. Why do you have to shed?” I gave up trying to pull my sock up and pinched my tongue a few times until I snagged the errant hair. Gotcha, you little bastard!” It is openings like this that make you one of my favorite authors! Such attention to details no one else would ever have thought of. This is the kind of thing that makes your writings so alive!

    Chapter 5

It is incredible how you invent whole new worlds!
  5. So….. I found and started reading this story as I was eating breakfast. Bad timing. Really really bad timing. Good start to this story, though. Reminds me of the year I worked as an EMT, way back when. Never knew what we would find at a scene.

    Chapter 16

What a world you are creating (or revealing???). And what a delight to be a part of it.
  7. It seems that I already am caught up, just didn’t know what I was caught up to. Now I can read with even greater pleasure. 😜😜😜
  8. Please attribute this to an aging mind and not even the barest hint that your wonderful stories are not memorable, but please tell me what this new story is a continuation of (yikes -- ending a sentence with a preposition! Sorry.) I want to go back and refresh my memory of the characters and the story line.

    Chapter 8

Funny how I much more easily am able to wrap my head around the fact that some of these characters are vampires then I can boys this age having that degree of business acumen. Well, this is fantasy after all…..

    Chapter 7

    A lovingly crafted chapter.
  11. I knew there had to be a dramatic twist in the offing but I did not expect it to come this way. Interested to see how you resolve this without resorting to Hallmark. (I have faith in you!)
  12. Talk about cock blocking!!!! Inadvertent but just as effective. LOL
  13. A wonderfully complicated chapter.
  14. Fantastic chapter. It rang so true. Wish there were more Perrys in the world.

    Chapter 1

This reads more like a good start to a longer story. Why not risk continuing it? You may be surprised where it takes you.
  16. Thank you for responding. Now I not only know what it means, I also have some reading to do this weekend. I have learned something new — what a great way to start the day!
  17. Not being conversant in Latin or Afrikaans, and Google translate not being of any help, what is meant by Timshel, please? This was such a gentle, loving chapter.

    Chapter 2

Shades of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice lol. Great start.
  19. What a tender, lovingly written chapter. You did use a phrase that I never have heard before nor would I ever have imagined and I love when that happens: “I shuddered, thinking how much stomach acid I’d secreted unnecessarily.” You are a craftsman!

    Chapter 8

    So exquisitely tender!
  21. Unexpectedly, I cried through most of this. It brought back high school memories when a player from a rival high school was killed from a hit while playing football. I never knew him but after more than fifty years I still remember his name. Very effective chapter.
  22. A tragic, powerful start. You have set yourself a challenge to keep it going. I am looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

    Chapter 1

I have largely given up reading stories from the various sites I follow. Just need a break. Tonight I happened to check in on GA for the one or two stories I still want to follow and I saw that you are posting again. You are one of a very small handful of authors I still want to follow and I was elated to see this new post. Your first chapter did not disappoint and I look forward to once again enter into the world that you create. Welcome back.
  24. If you take the story down, they win. Is that a good lesson for Bryce?
  25. As I was reading this chapter, the thought came to mind that this work goes beyond mere storytelling. There is a depth, a weight, a meatiness to your writing that sets it apart from much of what I read (and enjoy) on this and other sites. Please know that your efforts are much appreciated.
