  1. Thanks, CG - and sorry for not sending you a PM about the new chapter. I'm glad you found it. I'm delighted you found the spider joke funny, @Kitt told me she was all while editing. I love it when I make my editors and readers laugh or cry. Intentionally, I mean - although it can also be fun to make my editors laugh even though the mistake makes me when they point it out.
  2. We all need nice surprises now and then. Peter loves his own sister, even when she's annoying, but Alice is his sister-by-choice. Even when she's a tease, see next chapter.
  3. I knew a British Fiona many years ago, but she wasn't like this one, but the name still has pleasant connotations for me. And it sounds much nicer in English than in Danish.
  4. He's quite spunky, eh ? I keep wondering if she's been pestering him before and he's finally getting a chance to tell her what he thinks.
  5. Good, then you're in line with me and everybody else. Thank you for all the new comments, it's a lovely treat to wake up to.
  6. Me too, I had so much fun writing them and their back story.
  7. Thanks, tim, it does feel good to get some writing done. I hope I'll be able to keep at it.
  8. LOL, I blame the idiots who put M and N next to each other on my keyboard, plus my old eyes and a small screen.
  9. This is a poignant and beautiful story which never fails to squeeze my heart and bring tears to my eyes as I hold my breath and hope for love to conquer fear and the dreaded age gap. At the beginning of the story, Justin is contemplating jumping off a cliff, literally, but then he encounters Aaron who distracts him from the woes of having been dumped by his partner after fourteen years of catering to his wishes. The mutual attraction between the high school teacher and the eighteen-year-old is fairly obvious, but Justin knows all the reasons why he shouldn’t give in to temptation. He may be vulnerable, but he’s also sensible and honorable, two traits, which together with his kindness, make me admire him as he struggles with loneliness. The pace of the story is slow but every word pulls you deeper. Justin may find it easy to resist the offer of physical intimacy, but as the summer progresses so does their mutual closeness of mind and heart. Justin ends up at the mental cliff of whether to leap into the love and relationship offered by Aaron, for the summer or forever.
  10. Aww, I'm proud to be able to capture your attention once more, even though this must be your fourth of fifth read. Maybe I should start reading and perhaps be inspired to take up the tale again.
  11. Thanks, Kitt, I'll enjoy getting new ones.
  12. Thank you, such a wonderful comment is most welcome.
  13. It's also the best way. Your comments are much appreciated. thank you, it's nice to know feedback is appreciated. But I guess it's easy for us authors to understand the importance of this. The real heroes are readers like @droughtquake , @Lisa, and the other members on the most chapter comments list who give others the joy of applauding.

    Expectations

Well, you've certainly managed to make your readers as sad as poor Eric. He had such hopes about this visit, and none of them were realized. I think it's an age difference as well as social status. Andy has probably never known old people or poor people, and the combination leaves him unable to relate and cope. Of course, his opening thoughts about not paying attention to his training meant I'm not going to cut him any slack. Eric was spot on about Andy's attitude and inattention.
  15. Well, that's what the next chapter is for. I actually wanted to postpone this chapter till the next one was ready, but I also wanted to celebrate Myr getting the series set up. To my surprise, no one has commented on the title of that. But that's probably readers being polite and avoiding saying it's lame.
  16. You're welcome, dugh. It was so nice to finally be able to post another chapter.
  17. I did warn you. I'm sure you need some time to recuperate after having a massive binge-read of this story. You can amuse yourself with the A.I. part of this series or some of my other stories , while you wait for the next chapter. Or you can join the hungry bird club and start cheeping.
  18. I can relate to that, Sam. But at least, we've found a wonderful virtual family here at GA, even if they are a bit hug-happy.
  19. yes, it is, and it makes my readers happy too, which is very important.
  20. Why would you be nervous ? Is in in sympathy with Michael's dads? I'm glad you're happy too.
  21. LOL, I'm glad you enjoy the inclusion of Angel and Imp. Have you read their trilogy ? It's included in the series with this story.

    A New Step

Great chapter, I love meeting new packs, and this one should be a good ally for Homestead.

    Story

Someone hasn't yet learned the difference between a comment and a review. Don't worry, a lot of us had the same problem.
  24. LOL, yes, you might end up learning quite a few Danish words by reading this story. I'm delighted you liked the Peter Plys joke, I had such fun writing it. I'm off to bed, but will be back tomorrow to check out any further comments. I really appreciate them, so I don't want you to think I'm ignoring the feedback.

    Gifting Day

Reading this chapter again, I was wondering how often they have the Gifting ceremony. Is it every year ? It seemed there were quite a few omegas there, and I assume they're all eighteen or older? Do they come from far away or is this a very large city?
