  1. It's good to know matters are slowly improving, in spite of the efforts of religious fundamentalists (Christian and otherwise).
  2. Those are great suggestions, and I'll try to work them in. Sigh, maybe I should make a list of what events I need to cover before we can get to the Proms. Then I can search for some useful prompts to inspire me - or even go promptless.
  3. Yes, Rob was being a bit silly here, but the background story is that he didn't enjoy his Junior Prom as much as he had expected, because his girlfriend was clingy and demanded all his attention. If he danced with other girls she frowned, if he talked to friends (guys) for too long she pouted, and he wasn't at all pleased with the way she pushed him on the preparations for the Prom or her expectations in general. Thus Rob almost envied the guys going stag, and now he's determined to have fun and get the best out of the situation.
  4. LOL, I guess I'm just a little bit pleased to make your crush flame up - and you're not the only one to dream of Rob being gay if the right guy came along. Thank you for all the nice words about Rob, it's good to know he's still capturing the hearts of my faithful readers.
  5. Thank you, Dodger, - you caught up fast - or have you been reading my prompt story for longer than I realize? Anyway, I'm glad this struck a cord, and yeah, I can certainly see why 'Prom' would be a scary concept. I loved the scene in @Parker Owens A to Z story where Zander puts his foot down about the topic (or should I say hand? LOL).
  6. Thanks, Drewbear I'll note your suggestions down so I don't forget. I'm sure your confidence in Rob will be rewarded.
  7. Interesting that it's catching on in Sweden too, I'm not sure how things are in Denmark. Yes, Eric and Nelson are hopefully heading towards some wonderful Prom memories.
  8. Thanks, Parker, I'm so happy to know I'm not the only one who's not a fan. To be honest I enjoyed the chance to 'criticize' the whole concept.
  9. Yes, you're right, but Prom participants can probably like their date as a person, without being attracted to them (I guess the opposite could be true as well), so I didn't want to use 'like' for this specific case, and maybe that's why my editor let the 'fancy' slip by. Indeed, we should be moving towards both Proms if all goes according to my plan.
  10. that was priceless, dugh - and i'm glad you liked the chapter enough to let go of the pitchfork for a little while. But I'm sure it's never far away. Hopefully, the new Cards chapter can distract you for a while.
  11. Thanks, LL. I'm glad you agree about Rob and Trevor. I'm sure they can find a way to make tongues wag, even if they go stag. Rob and Eric will keep in touch, and maybe Eric will appreciate his brother even more, when he's not hovering protectively all the time.
  12. Well, never say never, but right now I should think CC stories - or the new word game short story @Cia tempted me to sign up for. Hmmm, I wonder if my choice of word (fire extinguisher) was somehow inspired by Jasper...
  13. Not all women (according to @JohnAR's Meta), but I think Rob's is happy to keep his options open for a while.
  14. Yup - in addition to being the master manipulator, master teaser and master matchmaker.
  15. Leaving likes or comments can be a good way of keeping track, but I guess you still have to find the last chapter you read. Less than 10 chapters to go after this one, even though I just added another prompt. Going through the story to find unanswered reviews is a good way to get in the mood for writing more. I'm delighted you approve of Rob in his role as brother, please proceed to the story topic to collect the Team Rob T-shirt.
  16. It's unfair isn't it, that out guys have to be wary in public - hopefully it will become less of an issue with time.
  17. There are so many suggestive ways of eating ice cream.
  18. I think you're right. They'll always have this special relationship. Thank you for sticking with the story.

    Just watch me

Oooh, naughty. I hope Anton is discrete.
  20. LOL, I can't believe I didn't notice that typo.
  21. LOL, me being a tease - and/or a straight but shy guy. Sigh, yeah, imagining Rob in the shower is a favorite past time of mine.
  22. I dunno, but I'm glad you found it hot. Nelson and Eric are serious about their studies, another thing they have in common.
  23. I think you're not the only reader to do so.
