    Relations

I'm glad Roska freaked Aunt Margaret out, but she was pretty rude to Gunni. Good thing Dimitri arrived, but I'm sorry he had to push his own needs aside. However, I'm not pleased Dimitri has been pretending to Gunni that everything was OK with Siggi, although I guess he did it to protect his boyfriend. At least Siggi is with Arnar, which is safe.

    Destruction

Somehow I missed this chapter, sorry. Anyway, I can see Siggi's point about Dimitri not being the friend he used to be, but he's hurting both of them badly with his rejection of the new Dimitri.
  3. You forgot Robbie's reply to Alex' girlfriend: "No, he isn't, I have a boyfriend." And why be shocked that she knows about Alex? Seems to me it's a sign of them being a good match if he's admitted to liking boys too, and she's OK with it. I guess going to Alex turned out mostly OK, even though I'm not happy Robbie smoked pot. But hopefully he'll make better decisions today, like going to the charity for help. The best part about that plan is that it would be deliciously embarrassing for Don to be lectured by people like Walter. thanks for the edit, drought, it's too early in the morning... (I tried to add this in the Reason for edit box, but it didn't show up. Is this a new bug, @Myr ?)
  4. Don lost the last shred of respect I might have had for him, but Sue gained some for standing up to him. However, she can't have done a good job of explaining the situation and she doesn't seem to know her husband very well. Also, saying Rob should forget about Nathan when they go ti the same school is terminally stupid. I'm glad Robbie ran off with a fuck you - because Don deserved it.

    Overtures

Well, if the way to Geoff's heart is via his stomach then Tony seems to have made a good choice in sharing his meal. And chatting and offering to help with the car was a good follow up.

    Story

Well, you deserve it for letting me borrow your awesome angels. I just hope it inspires you to write more Cupid Central stories.

    Chapter 8

Your wish is my command. Asking questions about a kid growing up is not the same as knowing the mind and heart of a teen. I'm sure Noël's grandmother respected his privacy and didn't give D any unfair advantage. And the best proof is D hasn't shown ANY signs of having insights in Noël's character or likes apart from what's obvious to everyone. Simon, Landyn and Keith seems to be much more attuned to Noël, and that happened while he was living with D, who we'd expect to be even more interested in his new mate for life. But D seems to have expected Noël to magically fit into his life as it was, and even someone like me knows you have to adjust to your partner and communicate about your likes and dislikes. This does not seemed to have happened, but I could be completely wrong. But even if he knew the Noël who was 'just' a human teen, what about Landyn's comment: You never really knew who Noël became after mating with you, do you?
  8. Thanks, buddy. It made my morning to discover the comments you have been sprinkling on my stories, I'm so pleased @Cia tipped us about the Comment Activity Stream. I'm delighted you enjoyed the story in spite of not knowing the Valdemar universe. You caught exactly what I wanted to depict about Vanyel and Jonne being good for each other. I always wondered about Jonne after the brief glimpse, and I felt an unfortunate family background would give him something in common with the Herald Mage. But like you say, at least he has his brother and nephew now, to help him deal with the loss of his father. Most of all - thank you for complimenting my writing.
  9. Thanks, Jeff, and sorry about not finding this comment before now. I'm glad you checked out @aditus 's Cupid Central, it's a favorite of mine. Your comment about Patrick, Peter and Michael reminds me I should get back to writing on the next chapter.
  10. Not to worry, I'm behind on answering comments. But I just found the Activity Stream called comments on my stories, thanks to @Cia explaining about this in the forum, so now I can hunt down comments I've missed. I'm glad you thought this was a good 'fan fic' for Cupid Central, I was grateful to @aditus for lending me Theo and Sablo, and I'm thrilled you had fun. Did you read the first two A.I. stories before this?

    Chapter 8

Uhm, no, D only met Noël once a year, in order not to draw attention to him. He probably only knew the public stuff, like the piano playing and where he studied.

    Chapter 8

How old is D ? Several hundreds years, right? Definitely old enough to become set in his ways and disgusted with things disrupting his routine. And his first two mates were his subjects and servants rather than equal lovers, right? I think he assumed instant attraction and fated mate would play out the same way, and since they never took time to get to know each other and become friends, the relationship never went beyond the first phase on D's part. He didn't make an effort to talk to Noël and explain what he wanted or to work out a compromise which they could both live with. Interesting, sad, and somewhat surprising to find out this separation is caused by no one (including Diarmad) considering the need to slowly build an understanding of each other, dating and finding mutual interests, the way most humans do to gain friends and partners. Diarmad never had to do so, and Noël was too inexperienced to realize what was missing.

    Chapter 7

Sigh, I still wish Noel and Kris would become a couple at some point, but I can see Simon's point. At least, if Kris is told about Noel's role as the King's mate, he'll know what he is up against.

    Shots fired

Yes, Scandinavians do have less inhibitions about being nude. Good thing Joel isn't Danish and was shot in the butt. https://satwcomic.com/religious-flags I have no problem with gun ranges, but I prefer handguns to stay there or in the hands of the police, not in people's homes. We recently had the first Danish policeman killed by gunshot in almost 30 years by a mentally ill guy who stole a handgun from a gun range (I think he used to be a member). He walked up behind the policeman who had just loaded his dog into the car, and shot him from behind. The whole of Denmark was horrified and deeply saddened. (As far as I know the last policeman shot dead before that was the young guy killed by Blekinggadebanden. I'm still enraged they never served time for that.) Anyway, thank you for saying I inspired you. Now I'll have to follow your good example and use a current prompt. I'm sure @droughtquake would like to see a certain ginger guy in action.
  15. As long as he doesn't go to Alex' house, I think Robbie will be OK. However, i wish he had stayed with Walter and let him take him home and tell the uncle what an idiot he is.
  16. Don't you just love when your readers have a spirited discussion about your chapter?
  17. Making out isn't hardcore - and if he thinks full-on sex can happen this fast, I feel sorry for his partners, whether male or female.
  18. You're right - which is why I invented Rob, the perfect annoying older brother. I agree about Michael being a great brother in general, but the blue balls comment still makes me want to strangle him momentarily. I'll forgive him when he chases Kris away for good.
  19. He'd be strangled if he was my brother ! Michael should be happy Liam is giving Seth lots of new hot body memories to erase Kris the Jerk.
  20. Timothy M.

    Michael Slater

Yes ! Liam to the rescue - what a relief. Although I'd liked to have seen Seth knee the jerk in the balls first. Michael sounds like a great brother in spite of the teasing. You confused me about his eye color, first saying they were hazel, then grey. (and you just called the hazel again in the next chapter...)
  21. I'd love to see a reboot of the first Superman movie without the silly ending and with less of the boring flying above New York with Lois Lane.

    Something Old

Hopefully, the card is only a comment on the fact that Carter and his sister finally managed to kill Mortimer. But now I'm wondering whether Denny hid the rest of the real first editions somewhere to prevent his creditors from getting hold of them, if he went bankrupt?
  23. Timothy M.

    Dream Snatcher

Now I'm glad I didn't comment when the chapter was first posted, because I can now talk about the new version. I'm pleased to have more Colin and Ben, even though I liked the Martin angle too. I hope you'll return to that story in book three. I'm glad they are firmly in love and partners, and I hope Colin gets his wish for Ben to move in. I'm sure he's not the only one to sleep better with Ben in his bed. The poor guy must be wondering what Banner was going to tell him, on top of who betrayed them and got them shot.
  24. Timothy M.

    Prologue

Well, that was something of a major shock. Ironic how the bigoted talk of his colleagues made Ben volunteer to get breakfast and thus avoid being shot.
  25. You should give the other Grid and Dice stories a chance too. Most of them were hilarious.
