  1. Oh, OK, I thought it was somewhat related to the earlier image problem, and probably not worth a new topic. Nope, I still cannot see them in Chrome.

    Chapter 22

I wonder how much Liam and Alek have talked about their parents before. In fact, I wonder whether Alek has ever been able to share his deeper thoughts and emotions with Liam (or with his sisters) before now, because it wasn't 'manly.' I hope we're seeing a more honest and genuine Alek emerging, someone who feels comfortable in who he is and what he wants. Whether or not he gets back together with Liam. Oh, and Alek should be careful about saying he's not doing it for Liam, because I think Liam needs to know he's the first priority now and that Alek does things to show he cherishes their time together. It's a fine balance to strike.
  5. I cannot see the author logos in this list. I'm on a laptop and I tried both Google Chrome and Firefox.
  6. Hmm, that first line prompt struck a chord. Maybe I can get an Eric and Nelson chapter written?
  7. OOopps never look at porn unless you have your own computer or know how to use private windows and clear your cookies / browser history. 'Interesting taste' (You wrote Tony instead of Mark in the second line and the font (size) changes half way through the story. Must be the rush the get the prompt done before the Friday deadline.)
  8. Not to worry, Gary, I love getting these 'late' comments. I just wish I could work out how to set my notifications so I'll get told when anyone comments on my stories. I'm glad you liked Alice, and I'm not surprised you feel sympathy for Sonia. I promise to get back to Patrick's phone call. I'm a little bit proud at making you tear up over Patrick loving his house being filled with his new family. That was an important part for me too.
  9. LOL, it's sort of funny you discuss @aditus's RRS in my story. Maybe I should check over there (like in Cupid Central) for comments on my story. I have to admit I'm much too chicken to write the kind of 'provoking' stories like RRS and @LitLover's Choices. It's bad enough to be chased with pitchforks and torches for NOT writing, so I don't want any fights among my readers or faces for what I do get written.
  10. What are crawlies? and I agree with @Puppilull

    Chapter 14

Micah finally won the war which should never have been started. He was much too lenient on his mother by the end, but I suppose he could afford to be magnanimous. And he did get some healing and the feeling of having a real mother, which was good.

    Chapter 13

At least Micah gets some time with his boyfriend and his future mother-in-law, who appreciate him. Cute how John Jr. was cool about the boyfriend. And the explanation of the high school policy was interesting.

    Chapter 12

Almost a shame Micah didn't manage to get out, but I liked to see John stand up to his wife and call her on her illogical bullshit. At least Micah may end up able to his brother if he keeps a good relationship with the sensible adult of the family.

    Chapter 11

Micah has true aim of the perfect bullets to pay back the hurt his mother his causing. I'm enjoying every single moment of that war, and I'm not the least bit sorry for her. Mr. Jericho is a good guy, who has sense and can admit to his mistakes. But even he doesn't dare to cross the witch his wife turns into when it comes to Micah.

    Chapter 10

The war has been declared and the evil Bitch is going to regret messing with Micah. I loved the way he told her he'd turn his back the moment he was 18 and reject her utterly. Serves her right.

    Chapter 8

I absolutely LOVE Mica standing up to his mother, and the way the doctor got rid of her was cool too. Did Mica even know she was a bigot about gay people?

    Chapter 7

Every time I read the fish tale, I feel angry all over again at Mica's dumb grandfather, and grateful to Mrs. Howard for showing Mica the right way to consider this episode. She really is a remarkable woman. And the sergeant and the handbook explanation is one of those details which makes me love this story.

    Chapter 2

you're welcome. it hasn't been much fun to leave comments, since there was no reply from dkstories, but now readers can interact in the comment section, it's different.

    Chapter 6

That last part with Corey always have me chuckling.

    Chapter 2

That's actually an even better description of why this is such a great story, than what I did in the feature today.
  21. that's awesome, @Lux Apollo - I'm not surprised you like it.
  22. Thanks, Gary. I was a bit worried about the explicit content (in fact the ... hides a part I removed) but Corey's and Mica's reactions are so heartfelt and baffled, it makes me smile every time.

    Chapter 14

Phew, I'd forgotten how hot the last part was. And I chuckled over Finian having a hissy fit about Simon.

    Chapter 57

and your editor being too sleepy. Must have been too long since the previous chapter, because I never even noticed. You've got most of the chapter in italics now, so you may want to fix that too.
  25. I hope this isn't considered political. But it really made me happy when I saw it. The European Court of Human Rights rules in favor of Russian gay activists. Thanks @Reader1810 - if you like it, I assume it's OK.
