    I keep worrying that the opal or Kieran will suddenly run out of energy, but maybe they recharge even faster in the realms. A shame the horses didn't trample those riders when they panicked. Tan will need shoulder pads if those eagles are going to ride on him regularly. I love reading about their exploring and discussions about how to survive.

    Well, I'm not sure Anne Marie's parents approved of the match with Konstantin. And royals in Denmark do not have any political power. But I'd have to read up on the history to give a more precise reply.

    Got my tea and cookies and I'm ready to spray crumbs all over my keyboard laughing at your comments. I love it when you go all out on my stories. I'm sure you'll find plenty to get fired up about. I hope you'll keep being proud of Patrick. Why would kids be wary of someone with talent? Well, kids can be cruel to people who are different, and Patrick was beyond crayons already at a young age.

    I guess you can say @aditus woke up my muse, since this story would never had taken off if Aditus hadn't joined me in writing. Plus Sablo and Theliel are Cupid Central characters, though I invented Diego. This is why we both feature as authors if you look at the front page of the story. However, working on this prompt together got my writing going on other projects, for which I'm very grateful.

    I like the new possibility of having more than one author for a story. It's fun to collaborate (right, @aditus ?) - so I can recommend it, if you get stuck when on an Antho theme.

    No, I don't think we do. And it's the first time I've noticed bird song on Valentine's Day, but isn't that supposed to be part of the reason it's special for lovers. Lots of male birds singing "This is my territory and I want sex!'

    Getting milder - and I heard the blackbird singing in the dusk on my way home. Melodious and characteristic, as @Thorn Wilde says. But I guess it can be annoying at 5 am and right outside your window.

    Yeah, it's never really caught on much in Denmark either. But @aditus and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day by posting the first chapter of our new joint story. Hope y'all like it. Happy Valentine's Day. (and a special for Val for super fast editing when we suddenly decided to post.)
