I bet being amused with unexpected actions and words will secure the help of the Elite guy faster than anything else. He's probably bored.

Scene One, A Seaside Promenade in Summer, Part 6
Timothy M. commented on Drew Payne's story chapter in Scene One, A Seaside Promenade in Summer, Part 6
At least he'll be able to have a proper bath, and if he massages his leg with body lotion at least the skin will improve. How he can not want revenge or at least justice against his attackers for the damage is still a mystery. -
I have to admit writing a review is an extra effort and I rarely do it unless I think the story rates four or five stars, mostly the latter. I dislike the star system. But I don't write enough reviews for my opinion to matter (regarding stars). Those GA members who top the review leaderboard (e.g. Bhopper2, Myr, Carlos, tim, jp and Caz) are better able to judge from experience.

Can't Lose for Winning
Timothy M. commented on Thorn Wilde's story chapter in Can't Lose for Winning
Difficult situation, but I'm glad he felt vindicated by the visit from the gay student. I hope Dominic got a suspension and a harsh letter for his father. I also think Stephen should have told the mother who called him a child molester, that he'll sue her for slander if she repeats it. Plus that the Catholic church has more child molesters than any other institution. -
But I bet you enjoyed us speculating.

Maybe the opal doesn't have unlimited energy and if it's used up Kieran could be in danger from the King and his minions.

csr January CSR Discussion Day: Fun with FanFiction by Laura S. Fox

I've tried to stay away from Hetalia and be content with the SATW comics, to save time. But I'll probably give in eventually. Humon (the Danish woman who draws SATW) sometimes make Hetalia crossovers. You should read the SATW comics from the beginning, and you'll know why I have Brother Denmark as my icon here on GA. Or you could just read the Romania comic https://satwcomic.com/child-of-the-night -

I've never read any manga or similar comics, so it was fun to get a small taste of them this way. Do you plan to write more fanfic in the genre ? Oh, and I always when I see these SATW comics which rely heavily on the nosebleed = hot (sexy stuff) which I understand is a yaoi or manga trope ? https://satwcomic.com/tea-party-crasher https://satwcomic.com/more-difficult-love https://satwcomic.com/ungodly-surprise -
Scene One, A Seaside Promenade in Summer, Part 5
Timothy M. commented on Drew Payne's story chapter in Scene One, A Seaside Promenade in Summer, Part 5
It's a long difficult journey, but at least all the costs are on the NHS and Shaun doesn't have to worry about being financially ruined too. But I wonder if his mother is slowly destroying the company without Shaun to smooth things over. Or has she found someone to replace him ? I'm sorry Shaun couldn't make himself tell the truth to the police. He should feel more guilty about that than about not avoiding the attack. -
Only three more chapters ? Or have you written some which are not yet posted ?

Good point, and perhaps if they hadn't been fit, they would have died 10 years earlier.

Sigh, the day started out really well, in spite of rain. I was even getting some writing done. But I just saw on the (Danish) news that one of Denmark's best marathon runners (who won the London Marathon in 1988 and came 2nd in the Berlin Marathon in 1986) dropped dead from a heart attack while on his daily 10 km run Saturday. Last year he was celebrated in London for the 30th anniversary of his win, and he said: "To me living is about moving, and I'll keep moving till I drop." Henrik Jørgensen was only 57. Scary when you're 55 and unfit like me.

why would you do that ? I bet everyone were pleased they could guess correctly. Well perhaps except Renee, if she thought it would be more of a challenge.

And the suspense is over

Which was almost everybody. I think most credit should go to @Mancunian who made the first correct guess.

I agree about those comments, I hope @Jaro_423 leaves more. And, no, I' not interested in cage matches. @droughtquake

I love the self-checkout - that way you don't have to talk to anyone when you shop or stand in line behind slow people.

Readers, why do you read a story but not Comment?

Yep, it hasn't happened since. It would be great if they could miraculously reappear, but I'll understand if it's not possible. -
There are many ways of feeling lonely and disconnected. I never fit with my peers at school. University was easier, but I still find it rather difficult to be sociable. Going clubbing was out of the question, unless with a group of friends. This is why an online community such as GA is important, it's like family and friends who understand.
-
Very well put, indeed, sir.
-
Such a brave thing to do, I'm glad your wife was accepting, and your son has helped you. I hope you find what you're looking for, but if nothing else you'll always have friends here at GA.
-
Oh, right, I forgot about that. I thought it had just run out of battery. He needs to get a new phone asap, but I guess few people call him except Helen and Tony.

Maybe it's the rosy cheeks ?

I can confirm that Kitt's comments consisting of emoticons without words became empty after the big update, and she had to edit them to reinstate the emoticon. The problem may have corrected itself since then, but I'll try to find an example. As for comments, I don't comment on stories if the author doesn't reply to comments. I also don't comment on stories where the characters use mouthwash. -
His poor skin around the tattoo looks like it needs to be kissed better. I volunteer.
