  1. I don't mind telling. I just sent something off to Aditus for our joint story. Now I'm going to work on my prompt story (Rob & Co).
  2. LOL I'd just pressed the button when your post popped up after 20+ minutes of silence.
  3. Seems like everybody ran off to get some food (or go to sleep in the case of Bucket) Well, I'm getting some writing done, TTYL. or check the weather.
  4. I'll have to check it out, but I won't promise to cook anything. I'll just drool. You can add the juniper & rosemary stew to it as well, if you want - and you like the taste, of course. Having more than one thing to use dried juniper berries for might make people more likely to buy them.
  5. Sorry - sleep well, B. (once you've had a bit to eat )
  6. No, I mostly buy something to take home or eat sandwiches or rugbrød med leverpostej
  7. Yep, just put suitable amounts of rice and sauce with meat in a microwave proof container and nuke it at work. Instant yummy lunch.
  8. Yum, sounds good. I like to fry bacon and bits of chicken and eat with 'rødbeder' - the 'Burning Love' recipe on the website Albert found.
  9. The English version was in the spoiler box - if you're thinking about the juniper recipe. It took up so much space, I hid it away.
  10. Nope, I hate cooking. So when I do, I make lots and live on the left overs for days.
  11. Thanks, I hope you try it out and let me know what you think. Rice is the best, I only ever ate it with the oven-baked mashed potatoes twice, and I didn't like it much, even though I normally love home-made mashed potatoes.
  12. OK, I wasn't sure. I checked Google Translate and it suggested sour cream.
  13. So, is creme fraiche the same in Norway ?
  14. Very nice - and I like the idea of sharing a recipe for remoulade. It's one of the things I miss most when I eat French fries abroad.
  15. You're welcome. Let me know if you like it. Can you get the sauce color stuff ?
  16. You're welcome, I look forward to hearing what you think. It's one of my top five favorite dishes. OH, and it's super easy to heat leftovers in the microwave the day after. Always make lots of sauce.
  17. Here you go @Thorn Wilde and @Albert1434 Original recipe in Danish: https://www.arla.dk/opskrifter/enebargryde-med-bagt-kartoffelmos/ I found a picture on Pinterest, and I think there is a recipe in English too. It's with mashed potatoes, but rice is so much better IMO.
  18. The revenge of the killer deer. I have a great recipe with dried juniper berries and ground rosemary in a cream sauce. You can use pork, chicken or turkey meat. Let me know if you want it.
  19. I guess being a second author on a story doesn't turn up in the search for postings by promoted authors. But now I'm feeling a little guilty about @aditus letting me get most of the credit for our joint work. I didn't do anything about Valentine's Day, but I noticed a blackbird singing in the dusk as I cycled home from work and thought 'Oh right, birds are supposed to start mating today.' We've had almost spring-like weather in Scandinavia the past few days, but you never know about February, could be snow tomorrow. Happy Sunday, everyone.

    Julie

Julie is clever and careful. Casually mentioning Daniel's boyfriend was a good was of testing her mom. If she had been anti-gay, she would have forbidden Julie to see Daniel again, since she's such a control freak. And getting her used to Amy as a close friend is also a smart plan. Maybe they won't be anything more, but I think Julie should admit to her feelings pretty soon. Amy will let her down gently and help her get over her crush, but more likely she'll agree they can be girlfriends. I'm guessing the next chapter will be Michael coming out to his parents. That should be interesting.

    Chapter 6

I have the feeling those formal clothes may not survive, but hopefully the belt will. I'm not surprised his friends were pissed, they were so happy to see Nico and D holding hands. But letting them all know how he feels about his mate should solve that. Scary news about Nico's house - and Sho would have been the victim if he hadn't left so suddenly. Maybe that was one of the reasons Nico got the vision. Not telling Ivan was a bit mean, but also funny. I'm sure he'll forgive Nico once they're bonded.
  22. @Thirdly I'm glad you managed to get back to the chapter, and that you approve of Patrick's choices and opinions. He's rich, but because the money is entwined with the loss of his parents he's been mostly ignoring it. But now he finally has something worth spending it on.
  23. Patrick really needed someone motherly in his life. Not to replace his mother, but simply to have that feeling of a older female relative who cares about him, but also nags him to put on warm socks. I expect the teasing will increase with better health, more language skills and knowledge of his new dad.
  24. LOL, do you really expect Imp to behave himself, ever ? He loves teasing Angel and if he can poke fun at Patrick at the same time, so much the better. Yup, Patrick will do anything for Michael, or at least anything Peter will let him get away with.
  25. That's OK, I took a screen shot. And now I can get back to writing instead of staring fixedly at the rep counter. I normally don't care what it is, and now I can ignore it until the next fun number.
