Glad you got back safely. I've been reading about icicles and huge snow loads dropping from roofs in Norway (Oslo).

I enjoyed the breakfast scene so much, and I'm glad Shaun could see the similarities to having a relationship. Harley seems to be a natural carer and he likes being able to do physical stuff for Shaun (massage, fixing breakfast etc). In return, he's pleased to have Shaun's attention and admiration. I think they fit well together and hope they have a future as a couple.

And if not sleeping, at work. I see you found the blog review of Holding Back. I can recommend reading both the review and the story.

I was having a hard time keeping quiet about this, @Thorn Wilde It's been ready for a while. I'm like my Swedish friend, I'll read anything by our fellow Scandinavian, even if I didn't even know who Deadpool is. I loved the story just like her. It was probably more fun to see the Deadpool movies after I read Holding Back. I'm looking forward to a second read soon, and seeing all the and comments on the chapters. Hope to see lots of new fans there.

That slow intimacy of sharing mornings with your lover is as good for Shaun's state of mind as the sex. Harley is a keeper, and I bet he feels the same about Shaun.

I don't know how I didn't find this story before. It was great and I liked Tucker being independent yet sensible about his relationship with Stelian. He knew the mate thing was true but he still needed some time to accept it. The fact he saved his mate's life helped a lot. For once I'm not going to clamor for more, I think the story is perfect the way it is.

As shocking as the assault was, I can't really say it was illogical. We may have ignored Alex' tendency to violence while he was playing nice as Robbie's friend, but he essentially raped Robbie the other times they had sex too. It was a nice fantasy that Alex could be redeemed, right along with Don's idea about Bible conversion. Unfortunately, I doubt Robbie will tell anyone and Don will simply assume they continued the fight after he left, and Robbie got his butt kicked by Alex. I'm pretty sure Sue will insist Alex leave the house, especially if she finds Robbie half unconscious and smelling of vomit. As a nurse (or am I wrong? But at least familiar with hospitals) she should realize Robbie getting punched in the head is bad news. And Robbie doesn't even have to say anything, since Don will provide the explanation for his state. I'm not sure it will be of any use for Robbie to tell the truth to his foster parents. He can save it for his therapist if he survives long enough to speak to one. I'm mostly worried this incident as well as the emotional hurt from the meeting with Nathan will send Robbie into the clutches of Mr Symmonds. But I sincerely hope you're not going down that path, it would be well nigh unbearable. btw I'm guessing Nathan and Robbie's talk has outed Alex anyway. Those girls in the mall are not going to keep this conversation to themselves, and we all know how fast gossip travels. I'd love to see Don's face if he's confronted with this.

Just one person reaching out and showing genuine interest can make all the difference in the world. Shaun has great understanding in some was, all he needs is some self-worth. Hopefully, Harley isn't content with a holiday fling. And Shaun is free to follow his heart, since he was ready to leave his old life behind in a much more radical manner.

Even though it was hard and soul wrenching I think Daniel needed this. He had to know which side the woman who gave birth to him came donw, so he can get his priorities and loyalties sorted. I'm glad his therapists helps him with the guilt and the ways he copes.

Well, at least Jack finally stood up to Jimmy about his stupid behavior. Maybe there's hope for him yet.

I do my best to appreciate when readers point out plot holes in my stories, since they generally do it to be helpful. Luckily, my stories are not very plot heavy, and my editors and beta readers catch most of the problems. So, I'm more likely to be chided for lack of plot tension and unexpected story developments. It pays to be boring and predictable.

He'd have to turn out to be an axe murder before inflicting Stuart on him. I was so happy to have a chapter without that idiot. I'm beginning to appreciate Gloria even more. It's kind of her to ring Geoff with progress reports. I bet it'll also increase her standing with her grand-nephew, whose visits I think she appreciates. I know my spinster grandaunt always enjoyed calls and visits (it gave her the chance to do the cooking and baking she loved). Once Tony has moved in, they could have a small house warming party, and if they invite Wes along with friends and any colleagues they feel close to, it could be a chance for Wes to build a circle of acquaintances, and for Geoff's colleagues to see him as more than the shy awkward guy.

But at least you put the matter up for consideration and asked the question, so you could revise your opinion, instead of staying with your first impression and gut reaction. That has to count for something.

I'm glad Harley is genuinely attracted to Shaun, and that he is a good lover. Hopefully, this will be more than a holiday fling. Well done on the sex writing, I know it's difficult.

I made do with a like though I wanted to do a one about Gary lying about the reason he was beaten up. He is such a fool, but I guess he's too young and inexperienced to know better. But maybe his so-called friend will feel some remorse.

Nothing intimate

I always love hearing about the love of Kris and Nöel. They were good for each other, and I'm glad Kris had the love of his life his whole life. The only fly-in-the-ointment was the piercing, yuk. I'm gonna try to ignore that. I look forward to meeting Sho. Does he know about Serai and mates ? If not, I'm not sure sending Ivan will be a good idea, although at least he's prepared. How old is Sho ? Interesting, that Ivan's father let his oldest heir go, maybe he's receptive to sense and good arguments. But ivan's premonitions of danger is a bad sign. Oh well, forewarned is forearmed - literally in this case.

I'm glad the massage helped with the pain and tension in the leg, even as it created tension somewhere else.

Arrgghh, you tease ! You can't stop there ! Anyway, I'm glad Harley is so straightforward about being interested. I hope the massage does help, and wasn't simply a way of getting into Shaun's pants. But whatevr the reason, it certainly made Shaun forget his sad plan.

I have to admit I'm deeply curious about J.P.'s take om President Obama and President Trump and all the other issues of the last 15 years.

Time to give the King and all his minions the fright of their lives. I'm confident Kieran and his friends can do it. Although they've been very lucky so far with accumulating the necessary strength in the nick of time.
