    I'm glad Robbie stood up to Sue about Conner and Walter, but I'm sad he refused to see the therapist recommended by Mr. Andrews. Interesting how Sue was not impressed with Don's new religious 'friends.' I think Robbie made a sensible choice about Alex and the sexual assault. He is in no state of mind to face the ramifications of telling anyone. But of course, we're already seeing the consequences he suffers, both mentally and bodily. That's why a good therapist is important, but only if he or she can promise full confidentiality. How does this play out in Canada, when Robbie is a minor ?

    Another way to find good stories is to check out the favorite authors of the people who read the same stories you do, and of the authors you like. Oh, and you can follow members as authors on their story page, rather than follow them personally. That way you only get story related notifications and not everything else (status updates etc) - or at least I think so. Thanks for the recommendation, @Thirdly though perhaps you should have warned about me not having updated my longer stories for a while.

    Kitt has a good point, and perhaps you can guilt the landlord into giving you a discount on the rent, so he can tell the buyer you won't put up a fuss.

    You're welcome, please let me know what you think of it. Danish ryebread with Danish paté - see the pictures in the link. Similar to the picture Bucket posted (except that was chicken liver paté and we use pork). The slice of pickled beetroot is also common in Denmark.

    In Denmark, tenants have rights, and you can't just throw them out, especially if they have been there more than two years. In fact, sometimes it becomes a problem for owners who want to renovate the building.

    I hate to have to disappoint you, but @Page Scrawler is well-known in the CotT family for giving us teasers of story ideas, but no story. YAY, rugbrød med leverpostej og rødbeder Just what I was going to say, I never eat liver, but liver pate is quite different.

    LOL at the conversation with his parents. They were fairly reasonable, I think. But Jerry had good arguments and told the truth. I totally sympathize with Jerry over the shopping.

    The booklet with the juniper recipe also has one with 'Greek' meat loaf - another favorite of mine. My mum makes it often, including home made tzatziki, but I rarely have the time. PS - I'm not sure a Greek cook would recognize the meal, apart from the feta and the tzatziki.
