  1. Yay, we're on page 444.
  2. Kitt has a good point, and perhaps you can guilt the landlord into giving you a discount on the rent, so he can tell the buyer you won't put up a fuss.
  3. Thanks, Gary - I did. It's almost evening now, hope your day is progressing well.
  4. Action-packed and satisfying, especially due to Jerry's cleverness and his reactions to guys he meets. I'm looking forward to read more.
  5. You're welcome, please let me know what you think of it. Danish ryebread with Danish paté - see the pictures in the link. Similar to the picture Bucket posted (except that was chicken liver paté and we use pork). The slice of pickled beetroot is also common in Denmark.
  6. How about taking a page out of Nico's book and jump into Ivan's lap - or invite him for a nap.
  7. In Denmark, tenants have rights, and you can't just throw them out, especially if they have been there more than two years. In fact, sometimes it becomes a problem for owners who want to renovate the building.
  8. Thanks, Rigby, I'm glad you approve. You write such intricate, yet real stories I wasn't sure you'd like this one. I laughed about the same line, when I wrote it.
  9. I hate to have to disappoint you, but @Page Scrawler is well-known in the CotT family for giving us teasers of story ideas, but no story. YAY, rugbrød med leverpostej og rødbeder Just what I was going to say, I never eat liver, but liver pate is quite different.

    Chapter 7

I'm glad Gary finally found some common sense and revealed all. His mother's explanation about why she knew had me laughing, it was just spot on.
  11. As a reader, both past / present and 1st / 3rd POV are fine.
  12. That's what Sablo thinks too. Whether their boss will agree
  13. The booklet with the juniper recipe also has one with 'Greek' meat loaf - another favorite of mine. My mum makes it often, including home made tzatziki, but I rarely have the time. PS - I'm not sure a Greek cook would recognize the meal, apart from the feta and the tzatziki.
  14. Storms ? Should I be worried ?
  15. I don't mind telling. I just sent something off to Aditus for our joint story. Now I'm going to work on my prompt story (Rob & Co).
  16. LOL I'd just pressed the button when your post popped up after 20+ minutes of silence.
  17. Seems like everybody ran off to get some food (or go to sleep in the case of Bucket) Well, I'm getting some writing done, TTYL. or check the weather.
  18. I'll have to check it out, but I won't promise to cook anything. I'll just drool. You can add the juniper & rosemary stew to it as well, if you want - and you like the taste, of course. Having more than one thing to use dried juniper berries for might make people more likely to buy them.
  19. Sorry - sleep well, B. (once you've had a bit to eat )
  20. No, I mostly buy something to take home or eat sandwiches or rugbrød med leverpostej
  21. Yep, just put suitable amounts of rice and sauce with meat in a microwave proof container and nuke it at work. Instant yummy lunch.
  22. Yum, sounds good. I like to fry bacon and bits of chicken and eat with 'rødbeder' - the 'Burning Love' recipe on the website Albert found.
  23. The English version was in the spoiler box - if you're thinking about the juniper recipe. It took up so much space, I hid it away.
  24. Nope, I hate cooking. So when I do, I make lots and live on the left overs for days.
  25. Thanks, I hope you try it out and let me know what you think. Rice is the best, I only ever ate it with the oven-baked mashed potatoes twice, and I didn't like it much, even though I normally love home-made mashed potatoes.
