  1. Welcome to the club. We didn't know what was going on, either, when we started writing the story. But Sablo and Diego are doing their best to figure it out.
  2. Sablo walked briskly down the hallway, shouldering away fellow Guardians in the process. “Hey! What’s your problem?” “Did your Cupid deny you your morning BJ, or what?” “What’s the rush?” “Sup.” “Hey!” ”Careful!” Sablo flipped them all off and stormed inside their Head Guardian’s office without knocking, his brother reluctantly in tow. As always, Ariel was impeccable dressed in a black turtleneck and matching slacks; his long dark cashmere coat on a hanger on the
  3. Moobs ? Ooooohhhh MAN BOOBS Thanks, I slept like a log and am now feeling OK, even though it's only 25 past seven in the morning.
  4. You're most welcome to stalk any story we write.
  5. I'm glad Robbie stood up to Sue about Conner and Walter, but I'm sad he refused to see the therapist recommended by Mr. Andrews. Interesting how Sue was not impressed with Don's new religious 'friends.' I think Robbie made a sensible choice about Alex and the sexual assault. He is in no state of mind to face the ramifications of telling anyone. But of course, we're already seeing the consequences he suffers, both mentally and bodily. That's why a good therapist is important, but only if he or she can promise full confidentiality. How does this play out in Canada, when Robbie is a minor ?
  6. Thank you, what a lovely way to put it. Yeah, I can see those traits in myself - and they were already there when I was Patrick's age.
  7. Thank you for a lovely comment, just what I needed after a long day at work. Ooohh, nestlings doing target practice, why didn't we think of that @aditus ? Do we have time to add something ? A certain AI pair ? Stay tuned for another chapter tomorrow.
  8. hairy boobs ! Yikes - Good evening, all. It was a long day at work, and I still have some stuff to do. Maybe I'll wait till the morning or I may fall asleep at the keyboard.
  9. I especially look forward to more of the A.I. stuff. The idea of self-aware computers has always fascinated me.

    Chapter 71

Go get them, Kohen. Time for payback and freedom.

    Chapter 30

Another way to find good stories is to check out the favorite authors of the people who read the same stories you do, and of the authors you like. Oh, and you can follow members as authors on their story page, rather than follow them personally. That way you only get story related notifications and not everything else (status updates etc) - or at least I think so. Thanks for the recommendation, @Thirdly though perhaps you should have warned about me not having updated my longer stories for a while.
  12. Thanks, Def. I'm glad you're on board. Adi and I are having so much fun writing this.
  13. Yay, we're on page 444.
  14. Kitt has a good point, and perhaps you can guilt the landlord into giving you a discount on the rent, so he can tell the buyer you won't put up a fuss.
  15. Thanks, Gary - I did. It's almost evening now, hope your day is progressing well.
  16. Action-packed and satisfying, especially due to Jerry's cleverness and his reactions to guys he meets. I'm looking forward to read more.
  17. You're welcome, please let me know what you think of it. Danish ryebread with Danish paté - see the pictures in the link. Similar to the picture Bucket posted (except that was chicken liver paté and we use pork). The slice of pickled beetroot is also common in Denmark.
  18. In Denmark, tenants have rights, and you can't just throw them out, especially if they have been there more than two years. In fact, sometimes it becomes a problem for owners who want to renovate the building.
  19. Thanks, Rigby, I'm glad you approve. You write such intricate, yet real stories I wasn't sure you'd like this one. I laughed about the same line, when I wrote it.
  20. I hate to have to disappoint you, but @Page Scrawler is well-known in the CotT family for giving us teasers of story ideas, but no story. YAY, rugbrød med leverpostej og rødbeder Just what I was going to say, I never eat liver, but liver pate is quite different.

    Chapter 7

I'm glad Gary finally found some common sense and revealed all. His mother's explanation about why she knew had me laughing, it was just spot on.

    Chapter 8

LOL at the conversation with his parents. They were fairly reasonable, I think. But Jerry had good arguments and told the truth. I totally sympathize with Jerry over the shopping.
  23. That's what Sablo thinks too. Whether their boss will agree
  24. The booklet with the juniper recipe also has one with 'Greek' meat loaf - another favorite of mine. My mum makes it often, including home made tzatziki, but I rarely have the time. PS - I'm not sure a Greek cook would recognize the meal, apart from the feta and the tzatziki.
  25. Storms ? Should I be worried ?
