  1. Thank you, Daveh, your comment made my day. I hope to get back to Patrick and Peter when I've finished my current story which I'm writing with Aditus. If you haven't already read the Angel and Imp stories in this series, you could give them a try while you wait.
  2. Ahh, of course. No, not everyone is afraid of saying Azrael's name. Rahmiel is being a little silly here. I agree completely with your sin observation.

    Happenings

Oh, I'm not saying he bigoted, just ignorant. But even so, he should know that the answer to 'Since when' is 'All his life'.
  4. LOL, no grilling by lawyers to find the truth. And no talk about sin, either, only humans plagued by religious nonsense invented that. Stay tuned for the next chapter, but until then (I'm going to run out of those).
  5. Ohhh, interesting how you get all protective about Diego, I like that. I'm sure Sablo would love to roast some high up butts, but he may regret it if both the A's get angry with him. You'll learn more about the special missions, but yes, those poor kids had a very high risk of death or mental trauma, which was exactly why Diego became their Guardian Angel. His presence and the comfort he gave, made a huge difference. No Big Guy, but there are some Higher Powers. But you're right about them being remote.
  6. Finally, finally I get to you. Yes, I think Azrael will not be happy with anyone trying to cozy up to Diego. But I wonder what the cupid thinks about being abandoned all of a sudden.
  7. Since Angie may not need halo polish for much longer, I'm sure you can borrow some. I'm not sure cupids will consider a bit of nestling target practice enough payment for pissing Ayil off. I'm glad you liked how we ran with your idea. As for your question
  8. Why, Sablo would never get his brother into trouble.
  9. You're welcome. Aditus and I were looking forward to seeing what readers would think of this chapter. Flirty yet bureaucratic cupids is a very good description of the Cupid Central crowd. We loved writing the nestling encounter.
  10. I'm not sure any human is age appropriate for Ayil, who might be seen as cradle robbing even a 70-year-old guy. No @aditus stories without delicious food - and Sablo and Theo got shot when meeting for a drink in the very same bar. However, my A.I. team don't eat or drink, because they're different categories of beings. No wonder you're confused. Not sure what your question about the scar is about.
  11. Purple prose sounds much better than PWP I started out my writing with erotica, so romance and plots are quite difficult concepts for me, not to mention dialogue. I'm all over the compliments, they sure made my day.

    Happenings

OH NO ! Oh poor Eric, what a set back. But at least Brian will know to get in touch with Andy. I was so proud of Eric coming out to his friend, and for telling himself Brian would have to adjust. Seems it won't be easy, considering his silly questions. Since when?

    Chapter 6

Stupid Harry, I'm really with him. Even if he did this at pride parades when he was single, he can't do that now. Or at least not without discussing it with his boyfriend first. But I'm glad his uncles are there for Ralph.
  14. Promises, promises. I've been wondering about those twins for ages.

    Chapter 5

Interesting how Ralph's mom is suddenly all happy about her gay brother-in-law. Maybe the fact he's a lawyer and will help fight for custody is a huge plus in his favor. But hopefully her improved attitude will help Ralph and Harry too. You hinted in this or the previous chapter that Neil only came home because his best friend died, but Ralph didn't seem particularly surprised to see Neil in the first chapter.

    Chapter 4

It would be easier if Neil could stay near his family, and how would he be able to afford living on his own and paying for childcare ? I'm still trying to work out how old the brothers are. I was guessing 25 and 15, but then why hasn't Neil gone to college yet ? Did he go into the military ?

    Chapter 3

I'm glad this chapter ended with a laugh over uncle Chris' clever comment. How old is Ralph ? You can now edit your Y reply to K.C., if you want.

    Chapter 2

I'm still a little confused about whether Maryann the mother was pregnant when she died. But I assume so, since why else name the baby after her and Frank. Awful idea IMO, I feel sorry for the poor girl. Fancy knowing people think of your dead mother every time they say your name. But otherwise Neil seems to be doing OK in his new role as father.

    Chapter 1

A sad start, but I guess we now know how Neil becomes a father. And Ralph can be a substitute big brother as well as uncle.
  20. Hi Albert, I'm fine, enjoying my Friday and nice spring weather. How are you ?
  21. you just ruined @Page Scrawler's excuse for not finishing and posting the story.
  22. “This is Cupid Central?” Diego looked at the gleaming white toilet with the grab rails on its left and right. “Don’t be stupid. This is the handicapped stall in the bathroom of the bar across from CC. We can’t simply plop in there as we do with Guardian Central. Only Cupids can do that.” “Oh.” “Yes, ‘oh’. Really, bro? Picture what would happen if one of their flighty boys or girls just dropped into GC’s breakroom.” “You’re right. I wasn’t thinking. It would cause mayhem.” The
  23. And of course you immediately prove me wrong. Shouldn't you be cuddled up with Morgan right now ?
  24. We'll find out when the next chapter posts today. Maybe you won't dislike Ayil, but @aditus and I are wondering what readers will think of him. He's still a stickler for 'proper protocol'
  25. Good morning, I think you'll find most people here have gone to bed. Our Australian tea bat aka @Bucket1 may be around. Oh and there's no such thing as off topic here - well, except politics.
