    Small footprints brought to mind something I see at the barn all the time. Tiny deer prints in the mud showing what has been nibbling the bushes.

    Caio bellas. Seasonal? I've forgotten what seasonal is supposed to be. Single digits again this am, and Sunday supposed to be 50's. Someone PLEASE let me off this roller coaster! I have had enough fun for one winter.

    She takes care of the schoolies, I take care of the boarders. She leaves them out except in the worst weather so she doesn't have to muck stalls etc.

    17% grade is not a road, it's a sleigh riding hill!

    And snow/ice isn't the only issue! those narrow streets funnel high winds in odd directions! Hazards of streets designed before cars!

    And it takes both working at it. The only times I thought we might not make it was when one of us didn't want to put in the effort.

    I guess i am the record holder around here. 36 yrs last october. Thats not to say there were not rough times, including thoughts of divorce, counciling, even crazy dreams of becoming a widow, but we hung in and worked through things. I think we are happier now than ever before. Its worth the effort. Its like building a house, start low and work up. You cant ecpect perfection on day 1. I didnt even know what perfection would be on my wedding day.

    Morning gang. Bright and bluefish cold here. We are talking record numbers here. We have 3* rf -15* right now. Thats -16*C fr -26* for you celcius peeps. Made an administrative decision to keep all horses in today. Now the lady who runs the lessin program is mad at me. She wanted them in anyway but says i should have left it to her. Really? They would have been left out overnight if i had not said to bring them in!

    I need to find my way under my quilt! Is currently 7* here with a wind chill of -11! That's -13 /-23 for you celcius peeps. We were 37* this afternoon.

    Anyone else here old enough to remember crazy colors sewn onto the bottoms of your bell bottoms?

    At least you can hem them! Tacking 2 inches on at the ankle looks like I am a throwback to the 70's!

    I have exactly the opposite problem buying dress trousers. All fat women are supposed to be short I guess. Get them to fit properly at the waist and they stop 2 inches above the ankle.
