My parents were in their late 60's when they visited Vegas. Mom's favorite activity was rafting on the river below the damn. Yes, white water @ 68 yrs old!

You people begged her for a cliffie, like she needed encouragement?!? Good lord, half the country is drought stricken, and Georgia and Mississippi are trying to teach houses and trees to swim! Guess Florida joins the latter list. In Nevada summer heat it could start ripening faster than that if hvac was shut off. You guys are jumping to conclusions. The smell could be anything from snuff film victim to pissed off mobster killed someone off and left a message. My bet? Someone tried to force Neall to star in some twisted flick, and the kid tore him tospreads, then hightailed it out. We do know wolf shifters are stronger than humans, and a hybrid form the most dangerous. Referring to the captives as pups can be misleading. They are all in their early teens @ abduction. At 13 my brother grew 8" and 5 shoe sizes in 2 months. Add pure fear to the mix and these poor pups could be capable of almost anything.

While I think a vacation is exactly what @kboisneeds, I can't believe you people are begging for a cliffie before she leaves!

Sometimes further development of secondary characters can detract from the story line. Those secondary characters are better served by a spin off when that occurs. Like any form of intuition, clairvoyance etc, it's a skill to be developed.

If I were to find my CSR was trying to talk with another customer at the same time s/he was supposedly handling my issue, I would come to the conclusion my business is not important enough to them and would change banks. I understand finding ways to get more done for less money, but customer service is not the place for a bank to cut corners.

Meeting The Future In-Laws
Kitt commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Meeting The Future In-Laws
Every successive chapter that goes so well makes me look for the anvil about to fall upon the unsuspecting coyotes head. The longer things go so well the harder the impact when the manure hits the air circulation device.- 45 comments

Nah, just a fat old lady who will not give up the sports of my youth if I can help it. I can see the caramel. Dr Pepper? No thanks. I'll stick to putting my schnapps in hot chocolate.

Both sets of twins together would make an interesting story. Oh hell no! I studied French for 6 years, and thanks to 40 years lack of use today I would be lucky to follow directions to the WC! Apple pie shine would work too! <blushes> used to hold NRA expert rating with shotgun and rifles. Only made sharpshooter with hand guns, but made up for that on the trap range, maintaining a 24 avg. For those that dont know, that means I shoot at clay disks launched @ 20 + mph, hitting 24 out of 25 most rounds. Its surprising the people you meet and the things you learn at a shooting range.

Armpits can be openings for a skilled sniper.

I just picture Mike scrunched up in most cars. Didn't you tell us you guys have a Jeep? I was cramped in a Wrangler. I can't picture him folded up into one!

Lol not the point! Ferals can make friends!

Chapter 31: Getting Gelato
Kitt commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 31: Getting Gelato
We rented one when we became stranded by a transmission with a faulty planetary gear. All I can say is it's a good thing I didn't see the hamster commercials before that trip. I would have been hamster dancing all the way fron Virginia to NJ!- 27 comments

We have barn cats who have befriended and brought home feral cats. The ferals would keep their distance while the barn cats came to us for attention at first, but time and patience have always won and the ferals come in for loving too. It was a possibility to play with. While I agree there should be an attempt to save every pup, feral or not, segregation is just the sort of thing that would have likely caused feral behavior in the first place.

Dud they mean groundspout? That IS a tornado. According to wiki A landspout is a tornado with a narrow, rope-like condensation funnel that forms while the thunderstorm cloud is still growing and there is no rotating updraft - the spinning motion originates near the ground. Waterspouts are similar to landspouts, except they occur over water.

Here is a thought for you all to chew on. When the possibility that pups have gone feral was mentioned, I could almost hear all the moans lamenting pups needing to be put down. But what if they put 2 or more feral pups together, letting them bond and forming their own little pack within the pack? Combined with family being near, could that not aid in bringing them back to lucidity?

The problem with investigating a video is it leads to another video, and another and another... A friend of my daughter frequently falls down a toc-toc rabbit hole while waiting in her school bus for her next set of children. There have been days Wings has to turn off notifications to get the chores done, since she forwards the good ones.

Good Guys Do Date Bad Boys, After All
Kitt commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Good Guys Do Date Bad Boys, After All
That was the point of Rusty joining him. Split the driving and keep moving. Using that method I could leave NJ now, and have breakfast with my brother in Florida tomorrow. Of course, I might just drown in my waffle and syrup since i dont sleep well in moving vehicles but... -
While lightning DOES strike multiple times in the same places ( hence the reason for lightning rods) I have never heard of tornadoes touching down twice in the same neighborhood so @kboisshould now statistically be good going forward.

I think a tornado is sufficient reason to delay posting...this time.

Sort of supports my contention that where ever the gossip rag sourced the video, it has a direct connection to the ass that made it!- 72 comments
