Thanks for the extra chapter. Great way to improve a dreary rainy day! I have found the best way to read Carlos's chapters are once thru for satisfaction on what happens next, followed by a slow read to see what I missed. I started this when I used to edit for him. Lol I found myself missing editing issues because I was so wrapped up in the story.

Not only is my donor card signed, it's also in my living will, and every member if my family is aware of my wishes. I've found that a goodly number of the authors I enjoy reading tend to leave things teetering on an edge frequently. Some chapters it's a 6" step, others it's a 6000' cliff, but either way it leaves me shouting "POST SOONER" -
The draw back is a 3 week wait for the new block and lower end assembly to be delivered. The loaner the dealer gave us is tiny! F350 to a focus.

Blew an injector in my truck, which turned out to be one I replaced less than a year ago. Warranty will cover all repairs. Hidden damage means they decided to replace the block. I decided to replace some parts on a "just because it is 18 years old and it makes sense" basis. Bottom line is that I will end up with a whole new power plant for about $600.

Ok, did you pull and then repost chapters 1 & 2? I read and liked them, but I am sure it was not in Feb of this year! Anyway, nice chapter. I am enjoying watching these two drive each other batty!

Just what sort of bug crawled up Northmans posterior? Seems like he is making it a point to oppose anything that calls attention to CJ. Isn't attention and how you use it one of the goals of diplomacy on this level? Advising our boy to turn down anything already approved by the higher ups seems like it would be worse for Northman than it would for CJ. I can see it now. " I am sorry Madam Secretary, but Northman told me not to do the interview even though everyone else likes the idea. Seems he thinks it will prevent me from doing an adequate job at my official duties." Yeah the words flatulence and houses of worship come to mind!
